Miss China is Miss World 2012, Queenierich Rehman Makes it to Top 15

Miss World 2012 grand coronation night happened tonight, August 18 at the Dongsheng Fitness Center Stadium in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China and Miss China PR was hailed as Miss World 2012 in the 62nd edition of the Miss World pageant held in her home country.

Miss World China, Wen Xia Yu was crowned by Miss World 2011 Ivian Sarcos. She bested 115 of the most beautiful women in the world who represented their respective countries.

Miss World Philippines Queenierich Rehman made it to the Top 15 semifinalists but failed to make it to the next round. However, Queenierich made that mark as the very first Miss World candidate in history to showcase her very unique talent (beatboxing) and made world headlines (and for that, she should have won Miss Talent but...).

Miss World 2012: Queenierich Rehman Makes it to Top 10 World Fashion Designer Award

Miss World Philippines Queenierich Rehman made it to the Top 10 World Fashion Designer Award, one of the challenge events in the Miss World 2012 happening in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China.

The great news was shared by Queeneierich Rehman, herself via her official Miss World Facebook page. Queenie, on her recent post confirmed the news and asked for our prayers for the big event happening tonight.

"waaaaaah!!!!! im in the top 10 of the designers award..tom is a big day..please pray for me and lets accept what God has to offer me tom...=)"

For the Designer's Showcase (held July 26 in Shanghai, China), Queenierich Rehman wore a stunning red gown made by Dubai-based Filipino designer Michael Cinco (one of those great fashion designers featured in America's Next Top Model).

Other contestants who made it to the Top 10 Designer Awards were Misses Barbados, Sweden, Ukraine, Bolivia, Spain, Puerto Rico, Peru, Hungary and the Bahamas.

Just recently, Queenierich Rehman made it to world headlines following her unconventional talent showcase in the Miss World 2012 talent finals where she wowed the world with her beatboxing skills, the very first in the history of the said pageant. Queenie's beatboxing video in the talent finals went viral and even appeared on websites such as the Times, MSN news site, Daily Mail UK and Huffington Post.

That unique showcase (which turned the whole world's attention to Miss World 2012) landed Queenierich a spot in the Top 5 Miss Talent, the winner of which will be announced at the grand coronation tonight (August 18), together with the announcement of the winners in other pageant events.

Let's hope that Queenie's performance in the pre-pageant events will earn her an automatic spot in the Top 15 semifinalist on her way to clinching that elusive Miss World crown.

Miss World 2012, according to their official website, will be broadcast on TV-5 August 18 at 7:30 PM.

Miss World Philippines Queenierich Rehman made it to the Top 5 Miss Talent of Miss World 2012 after she wowed the audience with her beatboxing skills.

Queenierich, wearing a slinky black fringed catsuit sang the opening lines of Rocketeer before rolling the beat, making everyone in the audience go wild and crazy.

Miss World found Queenierich Rehman's talent unique for a beauty queen and her amazing showcase was the very first in the pageant's history, an act that will topple that of the other members of the Top 5 -- Misses China, Panama, Norway and Jamaica who sang, if not danced.

Let's hope that Queenierich will be chosen as the one to perform her talent during the grand coronation night this August 18 (to be televised on TV-5) and if all things go right, will eventually join the semifinalists and bring home the elusive Miss World crown.

Miss World 2012: Queenierich Rehman Makes it to Top 5 Miss Talent

Miss World Philippines Queenierich Rehman is doing well in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China. Our candidate made it to the Top 5 Miss Talent of Miss World 2012 out of the Top 15 finalists shortlisted for that event.

Queenierich Rehman wowed the audience once more with her beatboxing skills. Miss World found her talent very unique. Queenierich, wearing a slinky black fringed catsuit sang the opening lines of a ballad and then rolled the beat, making everyone go wild with that astounding performance.

Queenierich also had the chance to teach one audience member some beatboxing and the crowd cheered while they perform a duet. Being chosen as one of the Top 5, Queenie might have the chance to perform her talent at the coronation night.

The other Miss World 2012 finalists who made it to the Top 5 of talent competition are Misses China, Panama and Norway who all showcased their vocal prowess and Miss Jamaica who amazed with her dancing skills.

Queenierich is doing her best in all the fast track events and has been shorlisted in the Top Model and Beach Beauty competitions. Philippines' Queenierich Rehman A Top Contender in Miss World 2012

Miss World Philippines 2012 Queneerich Rehman proved to be a top contender in the Miss World 2012 Pageant held in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China after mking it as finalist in several pre-pageant events.

After being shortlisted in the Talent and Top Model Competition, Queneerich Rehman continues to shine in the 62nd Miss World Pageant.

After earning a standing ovation for her extraordinary beatboxing skills in the talent competition, Quenee also displayed her majestic poise in the Top Model Competition. She was also included in the top 40 semi finalists in the Beach Beauty competition. 

Pageant analysts and fanatics, even her co-contestants were also stunned with the red Michael Cinco creation she wore in the Designer's showcase (and finally, Miss World released her photo on the runway wearing the said gown, which was one of those 13 missing photos when Miss World posted the pictures for public).

Quenee’s continued stellar performance in the pageant gives Filipinos hope that she will win the highly-coveted Miss World crown.

In the coming days, she is set to compete in two more pageant competitions: Sports and Fitness and Beauty with a Purpose.

Pinoys can help boost Quenee’s place in the pageant by liking her official Facebook account. At stake is the Multimedia Award, which will earn her points that contribute to her overall score. She currently lags behind Thailand and Nepal in this category.
