Maalaala Mo Kaya will empower TV viewers this Saturday (November 16) as it retells the life story of Miss Universe 2010 4th runner-up Venus Raj. Discover the trials that Venus had to go through before she represented the Philippines in the international beauty pageant. 

How did she deal with the public’s criticisms about her dusky complexion and rise above the nasty bullying at school and in the ‘real world?’ Where did Venus derive her strength to overcome her bad childhood experience? 

Together with Venus in “MMK” are Amy Nobleza, Malou de Guzman, Perla Bautista, Simon Ibarra, Mariel Pamintuan, Kelly Misa, Gio Alvarez, and Linn Oeymo. Also don't miss the cameo appearance of Miss Universe 2013 3rd runner up Ariella Arida as one of the contestants in the Bb. Pilipinas pageant.

Julia Montes and Ejay Falcon Team Up for the First Time

Kapamilya stars Julia Montes and Ejay Falcon will team up for the first time this Saturday (November 16) as they topbill the first episode of “Wansapanataym Christmas Special.”

In the episode titled ‘The Christmas Visitor,’ Julia will give life to the character of Marian, the daughter of a wealthy businessman who falls in love with a janitor named Joey, who will be portrayed by Ejay.

Because of his desire to get the acceptance of Marian’s father, Joey wishes on a magical Christmas ornament to provide him with beautiful decorations and delicious food for the special visit of Marian’s family. However, fate will test Joey’s kindness as other people who are much in need ask for his help. How will Joey learn that having a pure and kind heart is more important than owning all the material things in the world?

Together with Julia and Ejay in ‘The Christmas Visitor’ episode are Tirso Cruz III, Janice Hung, and Perla Bautista. It is written by Noreen Capili and directed by Jon ‘Spongky’ Villarin.

Maalaala Mo Kaya will share this Saturday (September 28) the inspiring life story of elevator attendant turned YouTube sensation, Cherry Alejandrino, who is better known now as ‘Elevator Girl.’ 

Award-winning actress Meryll Soriano will play Cherry in the episode, which is directed by Don Cuaresma. What is the story behind Cherry’s cheerful attitude, hardwork and dedication? 

Also part of ‘Elevator Girl Story’ are Eric Fructuoso, Buboy Garovillo, Susan Africa, Dang Cruz, Jennifer Lee, Perla Bautista, and Marikit Morales. The episode was written by Mark Duane Angos and researched by Agatha Lee Ruadap.
