Angel Locsin to Star in 4 Movies with Star Cinema!

Award-winning actress Angel Locsin is set to do 4 movies with ABS-CBN's film production outfit, Star Cinema. On Friday, April 27, Angel Locsin signed a three-year contract with ABS-CBN and Star Cinema for TV and movie projects.

In her contract signing, Angel can't hide her happiness and excitement with the projects in line for her.

“I’m very happy kasi itong contract ko na ‘to meron akong apat na pelikulang gagawin. Ang ganda nung mga projects, [kaya nagpapasalamat] talaga ako sa ABS-CBN, especially to Star Cinema, kasi binibigyan talaga ako ng mga proyektong dekalibre. Mas nakikilala ka bilang aktres, narerespeto ‘yung craft mo."

Angel will be doing a reunion movie after 5 years with his original love team, Richard Guttierez that will be co-produced by Regal Films. Prior to this, Angel will have her movie with another Kapuso hunk, Dingdong Dantes which will start shooting in May. The said Dong-Angel movie will also star Angelica Panganiban.

“Magsisimula na itong May [ang shooting], kasama si Papa Dingdong at saka si Angelica Panganiban. Ang magdi-direct nu'n ay si Direk Ruel Bayani (No Other Woman), na napakagaling na direktor. I’m very excited na makatrabaho si Direk Ruel,” Angel Locsin said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.

Aside from the two movies with Kapuso stars, Angel is also set for a big screen team up with her Toda Max love team, Vhong Navarro. She will also complete the all-star female cast for a movie featuring Angelica Panganiban, Toni Gonzaga and Bea Alonzo.

Angel Locsin's 27th Birthday Bash Rocks!

Award-winning actress Angel Locsin celebrates her 27th birthday today, April 23. A big birthday bash for Angel was held last night at the White Space in Makati City which was attended by Angel's closest friends.

Angel's birthday celebration was called Rock with an Angel and the party truly rocks not only with Angel wearing a one-shouldered, studded and high-slit dress but also with the attendance of Angel's friends in showbiz. Present in the event were Star Cinema's Malou Santos, Direk Olive Lamasan and ABS-CBN business unit head Deo Endrinal.

Celebrity stylist Pam Quinones also attended the birthday bash. Famed fashion designer Rajo Laurel was  also spotted at the party as well as eventologist and host Tim Yap.

Kapuso actor Richard Guttierez also attended Angel's salubong birthday party together with siblings Raymond and Ruffa. Richard has been Angel's leading man in quite a number of TV and movie projects when Angel was still with GMA-7. There are rumors, however that Angel Locsin and Richard Guttierez will be reunited in a Regal movie this year or another after Angel's movie project with Dingdong Dantes (read story here).

Bea Alonzo was also caught on cam at the said event together with boyfriend Zanjoe Marudo. Bea will be working with Angel, Angelica and Toni in a Star Cinema movie but there's no story conference yet.

Of course, to top it all, Angel's rumored boyfriend, Azkals striker Phil Younghusband graced the rocking birthday party. Phil's brother James also came to greet Angel. 

With Angel's big following, the greeting 'Happy Birthday Angel Locsin' made it to top trending topics on Twitter worldwide and still trending in the Philippines as of this posting.

Angel Locsin to Do a Movie with Dingdong Dantes

According to reports, Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin is set to star in a movie together with Kapuso hunk Dingdong Dantes. The said movie project is said to be a done deal already and Dingdong's manager, Perry Lansigan had already meet with Star Cinema executives for the Angel-Dong movie team up.

The said movie is apparently under Star Cinema and reports claimed that Dingdong Dantes had the blessing of home network GMA-7 to do another movie under the Kapamilya movie arm.

It can be recalled that 2 of Dingdong's movie are co-produced and distributed by Star Cinema - Kimmy Dora and Segunda Mano where Dingdong received his first Best Actor award in the Metro Manila Film Festival 2011. 

In an article by Nel Alejandrino for Journal, Angel Locsin was overheard of saying that the story for her movie with Dingdong Dantes was a very good one and something to look forward to.

The said Angel and Dingdong movie will be helmed by Ruel Bayani and will also star Angelica Panganiban and Zanjoe Marudo.

Aside from Dingdong Dantes, there are also reports that Angel Locsin will be having a reunion movie with another Kapuso actor, Richard Guttierez.

In lieu with this movie project, rumor has it that Marian Rivera fans are now worried since it is not only Angel Locsin that will be paired up with Dingdong but also an equally hot and appealing Angelica Panganiban.

Iza Calzado, Sarah Geronimo and Guttierez Twins Will be GGV's Guests on Season Finale

Gandang Gabi Vice will air its final episode this Sunday, February 19 and last night, Vice announced who will be the big time guests on the said episode.

For the first time, Popstar Princess, Sarah Geronimo will be guesting with Vice's show. Her new musical show, Sarah G Live! is set to premiere the next Sunday after GGV's final episode. Also included in the list of guest star is newest Kapamilya, Iza Calzado.

Meanwhile, another Kapuso stars will grace the said show as Richard and Raymond Guttierez are also slated to appear in the finale episode of the Kapamilya Sunday night spectacular. Previous episodes of GGV had also Kapuso artists like Dingdong Dantes, John 'Sweet' Lapus and Jaya.

Don't forget to watch GGV this Sunday and be amazed with the season finale of the 'Trending Capital in Philippine TV.'
