Video: Angeline Quinto Surprised by Biological Mom Rosemarie Mabao on ASAP Birthday Celebration

Singer Angeline Quinto celebrated her birthday on ASAP 2012 on Sunday, November 25. The Star Power grand champion did a song number and was moved to tears when her biological mother Rosemarie Mabao made a surprise appearance on the show together with her 'Mama Bob.'

Angeline Quinto fought back tears while singing the OPM classic Ngayon when she was joined by her two mothers onstage. Her adoptive mother, Sylvia Quinto (Mama Bob) and her biological mother, whom she referred to as Nanay Susan both expressed how much they love Angeline in a hug to which the singer responded by saying "I love you both."

Angeline and her biological mother finally met last June and it was Rosemarie who first approached people close to the singer who then arranged the meeting (read related story here).

Angeline Quinto Finally Meets Biological Mother Rosemarie Mabao

Star Power grand champion Angeline Quinto has finally met her biological mom Rosemarie Mabao. Angeline, who always wanted to find her real mother, can't contain her feelings the moment she saw her mom Rosemarie.

In a special report by The Buzz, Angeline recalled how the meeting came to be last June 30. According  to the report, it was Rosemarie who approached Angeline's fans first while these group of fans were the ones who told Kate Valenzuela, Angeline's handler all about Rosemarie. Kate is the one who arranged the meeting for Angeline and her real mom.

“Sabi po sakin ni Ma’am Kate, meron daw po akong fan na galing sa ibang bansa na gusto magpa-picture sa akin. Pagdating ko po doon, may dalawang babae po, 'yung isa medyo may edad na, 'yung isa medyo bata pa,” shared Angeline.

Angeline confessed that her heart beat faster when she saw an ID with the surname Mabao on it. Although she knew her mother by the nickname Susan, she can recall that her real name is Rosemarie Mabao.

“Nakita ko po yung apilyidong Mabao. Alam ko po kasi na ang tunay na pangalan ng nanay ko ay Rosemarie Mabao. Kinabahan ko. Hindi ko naman po alam na 'yung nasa harap ko, siya na. Tapos nung makita ko po siya, umiyak siya bigla. Tinabihan ko siya, wala na akong nasabi na iba pa basta niyakap ko siya tapos iyak po siya ng iyak,” the singer related.

Though she has already found her real mother, Angeline Quinto assured her adoptive family, especially her Mama Bob that she will still be there for them. Angeline said that she had explained everything already to her adoptive mother and that Mama Bob was also happy for her, even asking her to also help Susan.

Angeline is now building a house for Mama Bob and according to the singer, she would also want to gave her biological mom a house in the future.

Angeline also wished that her father and mother will meet again but she's aware that it will not likely to happen sooner now. “Gusto ko lang maayos ko lahat; na magkita sila, na makita nila ang anak nila na malaki na, dalaga na. Marami talaga akong plano pero sabi ko nga sa sarili ko ayoko namang madaliin. Nakilala ko na ang Nanay Susan ko at ine-enjoy ko ang oras na magkasama kami.”
