Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez Break up

Popstars Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez broke up last week, a source confirms to Associated Press (AP), saying that Justin Bieber is no longer Selena Gomez's "Boyfriend."

Several speculations surfaced on what could be the reason of the split of Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber. According to a source of E! News, Bieber and Gomez's crazy schedules made it "harder and harder for them to maintain a relationship" and thus decided to end it all.

Eighteen-year-old Bieber is currently touring to promote his album, while 20-year-old Gomez is filming a “Wizards of Waverly Place” reunion for Disney Channel called “The Wizards Return: Alex versus Alex,” that will air next year.

Many cited distance and busy schedules as the real cause of Bieber and Selena's break up but rumors also claimed that there could be a third party involved in the split, talking that it was Selena who initiated the break up after seeing Bieber with another girl.

According to E! News, Justin Bieber was spotted seeing The Lion King on Broadway with a group of people that included 19-year-old Victoria's Secret model Barbara Palvin. The rumor then hit a high note when Selena tweeted a photo of Bieber posing with a guy and Barbara Palvin looking in the background.

Palvin, however denied that she's Bieber's new-found love.

Justin Bieber on Top, IU on Billboard's '21 Under 21' 2012 List of Hottest Music Minors

Billboard.com has unveiled its 2012 ranking of  music's most powerful minors and Canadian pop superstar Justin Bieber topped the list for the second time beating today's hottest boy group, One Direction which settled in second place.

Billboard's 21 Under 21: Music's Hottest Minors listed this year's music royalties with "hit records, millions of fans, and the kind of success most musicians only dream of yet still cannot uncork a battle of champagne to celebrate their success."

Other notable music icons in the list are The X Factor USA judge Demi Lovato (#3), 2011 American Idol Scotty McCreery (#4), rapper Mac Miller (#5) and Justin Bieber's girlfriend Selena Gomez  (#6). 

Meanwhile, K-POP Princess IU made it to this year's list. IU, who played Kim Pil Suk in the hit Korean series Dream High landed at #15. Billboard described IU as "the nation’s little sister" whose "unique charm and undeniable hits have made her into a bona fide superstar."
