National TV Ratings (February 1-2): That's My Tomboy Grand Finals Gives Showtime 21.2% TV Ratings

The grand finals of That's My Tomboy registered 21.2% nationwide, the highest rating of It's Showtime in recent memory. The ABS-CBN program beat rival Eat Bulaga by a difference close to 10% which proved that It's Showtime is the most-watched noontime show in the country.

Meanwhile, Buzz ng Bayan once again beat Startalk with a very wide margin. The nation watched Buzz ng Bayan's comprehensive coverage of the Vhong Navarro case more than Startalk's exclusive interview with Deniece Cornejo (watch it here).

National TV Ratings (January 28): The Legal Wife Maintains High Ratings; Rivals Lose Audience

ABS-CBN' The Legal Wife maintained high ratings on its second day (January 28). On Tuesday, the Angel Locsin-starrer registered 20.7% nationwide. It's rivals, Carmela and Rhodora X posted only 12.4% and 9.6%, respectively which are way lower than their pilot episode ratings.

Meanwhile, Honesto and Got to Believe were still on top of the ratings game. TV Patrol also posted high ratings due to the anticipation of the public to updates on the Vhong Navarro case.

ABS-CBN's first primetime series of the year The Legal Wife premieres on a high note with its pilot episode registering 21% nationwide. The Angel Locsin-starrer beats rival programs like Carmela and Rhodora X which also premiered on Monday.

Meanwhile, It's Showtime posted 15.8% TV ratings versus Eat Bulaga with only 11%. Overall, ABS-CBN got 8 of the 10 most-watched programs on January 27. ABS-CBN also made history on Monday with 51% whole day audience share.

Got to Believe Beats Carmela; The Legal Wife Pilot Slaps Rhodora X in National TV Ratings

ABS-CBN Primetime Bida continues to dominate nationwide TV ratings with the premiere of its first series for the year 2014, The Legal Wife starring Angel Locsin, Jericho Rosales, Maja Salvador and JC de Vera.

On its pilot episode on January 27, the said teleserye registered a national TV ratings  of 21%, beating rival program Rhodora X starring Jennylyn Mercado and Mark Herras, which also premiered on Monday. 

The Legal Wife also trended on Twitter worldwide claiming the first spot with several other terms related to the series dominating the Philippines' top 10 trends. The hashtag #TheLegalWifePilotEpisode is still trending as of this posting.

Meanwhile, Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla's series Got to Believe put Marian Rivera's Carmela to shame after posting 29.8% TV ratings nationwide. The Kapuso program, on the other hand only got half of Got to Believe's rating (14.4%).

The Legal Wife and Got to Believe were also winners in Mega Manila and Metro Manila, according to Kantar Media.

Topping national TV ratings on January 27 is the primetime series Honesto starring Paulo Avelino, Janice de Belen, Eddie Garcia, Joel Torre, Angel Aquino and child star Raikko Mateo. The teleserye reigned with 33.3% ratings nationwide.
