'Unofficially Yours' UNCUT DVD Available Starting April 4

After its unprecedented success in the box office, “Unofficially Yours,” topbilled by Angel Locsin and John Lloyd Cruz, is set to be released by Star Home Video on DVD and VCD on APRIL 4.

Aside from the movie itself, each "Unofficially Yours" DVD and VCD and package also includes the music video of its official soundtrack “If You Asked Me To” sung by Erik Santos and Angeline Quinto; the special episode of “Take One” featuring the behind the scenes and exclusive interviews with Angel, John Lloyd, and people behind the movie; and the surprise uncut version of the film containing bloopers and deleted scenes.

Unofficially Yours 4-Week Gross: P157.25 Million

Angel Locsin and John Lloyd Cruz's movie, Unofficially Yours had raked in P157.25 million in 4 weeks according to Box Office Mojo (BOM). After reigning at number 1 for 3 weeks in a row, Unofficially Yours lost the throne to Disney's John Carter which had its premiere week for the rundown period (March 7-11, 2012).

Angel Locsin and John Lloyd Cruz's Valentine movie, Unofficially Yours remained supreme even on the 3rd week of showing as it is still the number 1 movie in the Philippines. Unofficially Yours had already grossed P143.44 million on its 3-week run, making it another certified blockbuster movie for Star Cinema.

'Unofficially Yours' Grossed P71.53 Million in 5 days

Star Cinema's Valentine offering, Unofficially Yours starring John Lloyd Cruz and Angel Locsin grossed a whooping P71.53 million on its opening weekend. This 5-day gross was according to third-party tabulator, Box-office Mojo. Last week, Star Cinema's Ad Prom manager, Mico del Rosario tweeted that the said Angel-Lloydie film had already raked in P100 million on its first week.

The success of Unofficially Yours sealed the place of John Lloyd Cruz in the ranks of Box-Office icons in Philippine Cinema. Meanwhile, this is Angel's second Star Cinema movie which is a certified blockbuster (after In The Name of Love).

Despite hollywood movies premiering simultaneously with Pinoy's Unofficially Yours, the said movie still emerged victorious as it debuted at no. 1 in the box-office, beating Ghost Rider, Hugo, Breaking Wind and The Descendants.

Angel Locsin still soars high as she is nominated as Best Actress in the 28th PMPC Star Awards for Movies (see the rest of the nominees here). Menwhile, John Lloyd will work on another movie opposite Sarah Geronimo which will be released this coming June or July.

Unofficially Yours Grossed P100 Million on its First Week

Unofficially Yours starring Angel Locsin and John Lloyd Cruz is a certified box-office hit! After a record-breaking first day gross of P18.5 million for a Valentine movie, its gross after 1 week now reaches P100 million. The reported figure came from Star Cinema's Advertising and Promotions manager, Mico del Rosario. 

The said movie is now poised to be among the highest grossing movies in the Philippines, following the standards set by No Other Woman and The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin. A sole venture of Star Cinema this time, this Angel-Lloydie starrer is now on its 2nd week.

Take home the love and sing-along with the heartwarming original soundtrack of the latest hit movie “Unofficially Yours” topbilled by John Lloyd Cruz and Angel Locsin.

The song “If You Asked Me To” performed by Erik Santos and Angeline Quinto can be enjoyed in album “OPM Number 1s: Volume 3” released by Star Records.
