Luis Manzano Joins Be Careful With My Heart, To Rock Maya-Sir Chief Love Team

Actor-host Luis Manzano is now part of ABS-CBN’s hit daytime kilig-serye “Be Careful With My Heart” topbilled by the sensational love team of Jodi Sta. Maria and Richard Yap.

Luis portrays the role of James Ventura, the vice president for flight operations of Time Airways, the company where Maya (Jodi) works as an OJT (on-the-job trainee).

“I was very ecstatic when I learned that I’ll join the show because I’m a fan of it to begin with,” said Luis who is so excited to work with Jodi again. “Jodi is really my first partner in showbiz so it’s a pleasure being able to work with her again.”

When asked whether his character is off to break the Maya-Sir Chief love team, Luis simply answered, “Le’ts wait and see! But I hope you guys enjoy my character. We are all fans of the show.”

Jodi Sta. Maria Open to Friendly Competition With Upcoming Rival Teleseryes

ABS-CBN’s primetanghali queen Jodi Sta. Maria said that she is pleased with everything that has been happening with their top-rating romantic-comedy series “Be Careful With My Heart” and welcomes the friendly competition that the new teleseryes of the rival network will bring to the daytime block.

“There is no problem with that. It’s just a friendly competition,” said Jodi, who is now more popularly known by the viewers as Maya, the trusted househelp of ‘Sir Chief,’ played by Richard Yap. “If their shows will also promote good values, optimism, and will also send out good vibes to the TV viewers, I think it would be great. Also, if the new shows will mean more jobs for everybody, that would be fun!”

Despite the competition, Jodi strongly believes that the public will continue to support their show mainly because of its feel-good effect. “I must say that they’ll keep on following us because of the lightness of our story,” she said. “Everytime they watch ‘Be Careful With My Heart’ the viewers forget about their problems. They can relate with our characters. And every single day, they learn something new from Maya.”

Aside from the daily dose of good vibes and romance, Jodi shared that fans should never miss the next episodes of “Be Careful With My Heart” because these will capture the unique closeness of Maya and Sir Chief.

'Be Careful With My Heart' Now Airs Every Saturday, Album Out Soon!

Due to insistent public demand, the country’s no. 1 daytime TV program topbilled by Jodi Sta. Maria and Richard Yap will now be aired on Saturdays via “Be Careful With My Heart Rewind” that will premiere this September 15 before “It’s Showtime.”

“Be Careful With My Heart Rewind” will begin with the pilot episode of the hit ‘kilig-serye’ where viewers can rediscover the beginning of the unique love story of Yaya Maya (Jodi) and Mr. Lim (Richard).

“This is the first time that a TV program airs a replay every Saturday,” said Jodi. “We offer this to everyone who cannot watch ‘Be Careful With My Heart’ every morning because they’re busy with their work and school. We hope that we can share them the joy and the good vibes that the morning audience enjoy.”

Aside from the momentous “Be Careful With My Heart Rewind,” another special gift that the show has for their loyal supporters is the much anticipated release of the show’s nine-track official soundtrack.

According to Richard, “Be Careful With My Heart Album” is special not only to their fans but to him and Jodi themselves. “We both love music and singing but we never dreamt of being recording artists,” he shared. “This is special to us because aside from the fact that it’s our first album, we really worked hard for this because we want the people who’ll buy the album to be happy with the songs and how we sang them, and not just because we’re part of it.”

Jodi added that avid viewers will surely relate with all the tracks of the album. “Everytime they’ll listen to it, they’ll remember the romantic moments of Sir Chief and Maya,” said Jodi.
