Dugong Buhay Airs Explosive Finale on September 27

ABS-CBN’s top caliber afternoon action-drama series “Dugong Buhay” will treat viewers with a finale week filled with explosive scenes and heart-stomping revelations.

According to one of the show’s lead actor Ejay Falcon, who is well known now by viewers as Victor, their team is elated with the success attained by “Dugong Buhay.”

“For six months on air, it’s great to know that a lot of viewers are deeply connected with our story and characters,” said Ejay. “We’re proud to say that since our pilot episode, we were able to fulfill our promise of giving the audience a beautiful and a primetime-quality action-drama series that will wake up the blood of afternoon viewers.”

Now Victor’s real identity as a true De Lara has been revealed, will Enrique (Christian Vasquez), Isabel (Sunshine Cruz) and Rafael (Arjo Atayde) finally start rebuild their family shattered by violence and deception? Will brothers Victor and Rafael finally unite or will a new war spark up?

Under the direction of award-winning filmmaker Toto Natividad, also part of the “Dugong Buhay” cast are Arjo, Sunshine, Christian, Yam Concepcion, Nonie Buencamino, Jed Montero, Ketchup Eusebio, Ana Capri, Lito Pimentel and Ronnie Quizon.

Kapamilya Gold hunk Ejay Falcon recently went bald to signal the beginning of a new chapter in the life of his character, Victor, in ABS-CBN’s hit afternoon action-drama series ng “Dugong Buhay.” 

Filled with so much hatred, Victor is now determined to give justice for the murder of her Nanay Elena (Ana Capri) and the cruelty done to him by the De Lara’s. Will Simon (Nonie Buencamino) finally succeed in using Victor in killing Enrique (Christian Vasquez)? How will Enrique and Isabel (Sunshine Cruz) accept the fact that the man whom their family is persecuting and their firstborn Gabriel is one and the same person?

Ejay Falcon Doesn't Mind Being Tortured in 'Dugong Buhay'

Kapamilya actor Ejay Falcon admitted that he got hurt when was punched for real (watch the video here) by co-star Ronnie Quizon in one of their intense scenes in ABS-CBN’s hit afternoon series “Dugong Buhay.” However, Ejay clarified that he did not mind getting hurt during the torture scene because it was for the good of their show.

“I really felt that torture scene. I was personally furious with Alex (Ronnie) with all the maltreatment that my role, Victor, suffered from him,” said Ejay.

Happy with the good feedback they have been receiving about the series, Ejay assured that there are more scenes that loyal viewers should watch for in the following weeks especially now that Pablo (Lito Pimentel) discovered that Victor is Gabriel, the long lost firstborn of Isabel and Enrique (Christian Vasquez). 

“The story of ‘Dugong Buhay’ story is really beautiful. It’s an action series with a heart,” he said. “and since it’s about families, many people can relate to the characters. Aside from the fight scenes, a lot of viewers follow my dramatic scenes with my two mothers in the story. Because Victor becomes emotional whenever he is with Isabel (Sunshine Cruz) and Elena (Ana Capri).”

What will Victor do once he discovers that the De Lara’s whom he despised all his life is his real family? How will the lives of Isabel, Enrique, and Rafael (Arjo Atayde) de Lara change when the truth about Victor’s real identity is finally exposed?

As a special treat to their fans, “Dugong Buhay” stars Ejay, Arjo, Sunshine, Lito, Ronnie, Yam Concepcion, Jed Montero, Ketchup Eusebio, and Nonie Buencamino will have a special mall show in Robinsons Place Dasmariñas, Cavite at 5pm this Sunday (June 30).

Ejay Falcon's Anger On His Real Family Intensified in 'Dugong Buhay'

Fate brings a glimmer of hope back in Isabel’s (Sunshine Cruz) heart in ABS-CBN’s afternoon action-drama series “Dugong Buhay” as she continues to search for her first born son after learning that their old nanny Elena (Ana Capri) is still alive. 

Because of Isabel and Elena’s accidental encounter, Victor’s (Ejay Falcon) anger begins to fire up even more now that the De Laras have ordered the authorities to capture his mother. 

Will Isabel succeed in searching for her son? Or will she finally learn to accept that he is already gone? As he discovers Elena’s connection with the De Laras, how will Victor’s life change when he finds out that he is the long lost son of the family that he plans to destroy?

'Dugong Buhay' of Ejay Falcon Airs this April on ABS-CBN; Full Trailer Released

ABS-CBN has just released the full trailer of the upcoming teleserye Dugong Buhay. The said action-drama series is topbilled by Ejay Falcon, Arjo Atayde, Jed Montero and Yam Concepcion.

Dugong Buhay is an ABS-CBN remake of the famous work of Carlo J. Caparas which is also made into movie in 1983 starring Bong Revilla. The show is set to replace PHR Paraiso this April 2013 on Kapamilya Gold.

Directed by Toto Natividad, Dugong Buhay also stars Lito Pimentel, Ana Capri, Nonie Buencamino, Christian Vasquez, Dominic Roque, Sunshine Cruz, Arthur Acuña, Ronnie Quizon, Ketchup Eusebio and Pen Medina with special participation of Carlo Aquino, Ahron Villena and Valerie Concepcion.

Abby Bautista and Arjo Atayde Topbill MMK this June 9

While some students in the city may be busy updating their Facebook accounts and asking their parents to buy them the latest gadgets, many kids in the country, especially those in the provinces, are sacrificing a lot just to be able to study.

One of those less fortunate children is Rizza Abaño (played by Abby Bautista), an 11-year-old girl who is so motivated to finish her studies even if she has to swim in an open sea just to get to school. Amid the difficulties and even after her elder brother stopped going to school, Rizza remained determined to reach her dream and still believed that poverty is not a hindrance to success.

Xyriel Manabat Pays Tribute to Moms this May 12 on Wansapanataym

In celebration of Mother’s Day, Kapamilya child wonder Xyriel Manabat pays tribute to all moms in the continuation of her “Wansapanataym” special this Saturday (May 12).

This week, Xyriel portrays the role of Maya, a disobedient child longing for the attention of her mother who solely raised her. Because of her bad behavior, a magical bird will punish her to become a human bird. Will Maya finally learn to appreciate her mother now that she is alone?

Together with Xyriel in the ‘Hungry Birds’ episode are Assunta de Rosi, Ana Capri, and Raquel Monteza. It is written by Ayi Tamayo and directed by Joj Saguin.

“Wansapanataym” is a part of ABS-CBN’s “Bida Best Kid” campaign launched recently that aims to empower children by encouraging them to become who they want to be and the best that they can be. Kim Chiu's March 24 MMK Episode, A Must-See!

Kim Chiu is set to make TV viewers cry as she topbills a heavy drama episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya on Saturday (March 24). She will be playing the role of ‘Pauleen Chavez,’ a blind woman suffering from a brain tumor.

According to Kim, playing Pauleen’s character was a big challenge. “It was entirely different from my usual roles. I had to research and study about the people with brain tumors to make my performance believable.”

Kim also shared that after learning the life story of Pauleen and her sisters, she has become more inspired to work and appreciate life’s blessings.

“Because of the ‘Chavez sisters,’ I realized that we have to be contented with what we have because there are a lot of people who are struggling like them,” said Kim. “It’s inspiring to see how they strive hard and remain optimistic despite all the hardships they are faced with.”

Being her first TV appearance after the successful primetime series, “My Binondo Girl,” Kim is excited to know the viewers’ reaction to her challenging role in “MMK.” She said, “I hope they will like my performance.”

Together with Kim in the ‘Chavez sisters’ episode are Miles Ocampo, Anja Aguilar, Ana Capri, John Arcilla, Lui Manansala, Duday, and Jaycee Parker. It is researched by Akeem del Rosario, written by Benson Logronio, and directed by Nuel Naval.

A Different Kim Chiu Awaits Viewers in MMK

Kim Chiu is set to do another tear-jerker MMK epsiode. Kim will be playing a different role as she is tasked to wear prosthetics for her portrayal in the said MMK episode. Kim will be playing one of the 3 sisters from Batangas that despite a series of unfortunate events (both their parents died and the 3 stricken with disease), they managed to be positive and remain hopeful.

Kim Chiu will be joined by John Arcilla, Ana Capri, Miles Ocampo and Ian 'Duday' Galliguez in this heartwarming MMK epsiode which will air soon. The episode is directed by Nuel Naval.
