Shot in Vietnam for 10 days, not only is love the fruit of their hard labor but also a very special episode in Star Cinema’s offering in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Star Magic, “24/7 In Love.”

Revenge, is exactly what Verna (Angelica Panganiban) wanted upon learning about the infidelity of her husband. With the hopes of restoring herself, she goes to Vietnam for a vacation. And as she takes a break from all the despair of her troubled marriage, there she meets a Filipino waiter named Elvis (John Lloyd Cruz). Vietnam, and Elvis have become Verna’s refuge, but an escape can only do so much. Will Verna have the strength to face her past and the outcome of her choices?

Filmed in Hanoi, director John-D Lazatin expresses his thanks to John Lloyd and Angelica for being very pleasant to work with. “Since both John Lloyd and Angelica are such good actors it was a very positive experience. Angelica Airs Her Side on John Lloyd's Admission on SIR this November 3

John Lloyd Cruz Finally Admits Relationship With Angelica Panganiban

Actor John Lloyd Cruz finally admitted that he is in a relationship with Angelica Panganiban. In an interview with The Buzz on Sunday, October 28, John Lloyd confirmed that Angelica is indeed his girlfriend, saying that he is "beyond happiness."

Before John Lloyd's admission, Angelica's director in Madaling Araw, Mahabang Gabi Dante Nico Garcia already spilled the beans on John Lloyd and Angelica's 4-month relationship.

According to John Lloyd,  he has known Angelica for the longest time until that day came when he saw the actress in a different light all of a sudden. John Lloyd, however said he and Angelica still refuse to go into details about their relationship.

“It is something na hindi namin ine-expect. Parang bigla na lang saan galing ito, saan galing iyon? Suddenly it’s magic. But seriously, iyon talaga ang nagyari,” he said.

“Wala naman kaming tinatago, wala naman kaming dapat pagtaguan or paglihiman. Hindi naman kami para umiwas sa tanong. Kung may nagtanong, opo kami po,” he explained 

Before his interview ended, he greeted Angelica on air saying “Hi love!”

John Lloyd and Angelica were paired in the upcoming Star Magic movie 24/7 in Love. When the two returned from the said movie shoot in Vietnam last April, rumors about a blossoming romance between the two surfaced.

Last August 12, a collage photo of the two sharing a "perfect Sunday" was posted by John Lloyd using Angelica's Instagram account, the first time the couple hinted about their relationship. The two had gone public when they were seen holding hands leaving the hotel during the Star Magic Ball last September 1.

There were also rumors that John Lloyd gave Angelica a Mercedes Benz as a gift amounting to about P5.1 million, a sign of a deeper relationship between the two.

John Lloyd Cruz Gave Angelica Panganiban a Mercedes Benz: Report

Actress Angelica Panganiban reportedly received a Mercedes Benz from rumored boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz. The said swanky car was worth P5.1 million, according to an anonymous source of website Pep.ph.

Fans started to speculate that John Lloyd gave Angelica an expensive car when the actress posted a three-photo collage on Instagram last week showing Angelica seating in the driver's seat, the Mercedes Benz logo embossed on the driver’s wheel, and the car’s digital instrument panel. 

Citing the source, PEP wrote that the white Mercedes Benz SLK350 was ordered by John Lloyd some months ago and paid in cash  from the Mercedes Benz showroom at EDSA, had it delivered in his Valle Verde home before having it transported to Angelica's house.

“Si John Lloyd din daw mismo ang nag-inspect sa kotse at naglagay ng bulaklak at chocolates,” the website said.

Angelica and John Lloyd have long been rumored as a couple and the series of photos, sightings and interviews pointed out to a deeper relationship between the two. 

Last month, John Lloyd posted a photo of a "Perfect Sunday" with Angelica using the latter's Instagram account. In the recently concluded Star Magic Ball, the two were also photographed leaving the venue together while holding hands.

It seems that Angelica is very lucky with the men pursuing her. It can be recalled that Angelica was also given another luxury car—a Mini Cooper—by ex-boyfriend Derek Ramsay. The said car named Baby James Cooper was reportedly sold at a lower price after the two broke up.

John Lloyd Cruz, Angelica Panganiban Spotted Holding Hands at Star Magic Ball 2012

John Lloyd Cruz and Angelica Panganiban were spotted holding hands while leaving the Star Magic Ball on Saturday, September 1. The two were caught on camera together leaving the Makati Shangri-La Hotel proud and all smiles.

According to ABS-CBN news, John Lloyd and Angelica arrived separately at the red-carpet event (probably to shun reporters flocking the area) but as the night progressed, the two "were seen together several times until they left hand in hand."

Are the two coming out and ready to shout to the world that they were already a couple?

Last month, Angelica and John Lloyd were also a hot topic after a photo of them having a "Perfect Sunday" together was posted on Angelica's instagram. Later it  has been found out that John Lloyd was the one who actually posted the photos using Angelica's account.

In an interview with The Buzz last Sunday, September 2, John Lloyd admitted his relationship with Angelica as something "special." He also added that he never felt this happy for a long time. However, he found it inappropriate to talk about his relationship with Angelica at the time of his promotion for The Mistress.

“Ang pinanggagalingan ko, for something this special, ayaw ko itong isabay sa promo ng pelikula ko. For something this special, itong sa amin ni Angel, hindi sa umiiwas ako, hindi sa ayaw kong pag-usapan. Never kong gugustuhin na maramdaman niya 'yun, na hindi ko siya prina-prioritize. It deserves a better timing. Hindi naman tanga ang mga manonood. Opo, wala po akong sinasabing iba. Ang sa akin lang, yung sa amin gusto kong bigyan ng pagpapahalaga na tingin ko ay karapatdapat para sa amin.”

John Lloyd added:

“Isa sa pinakamaganda about this relationship, sa amin ni Angel, ang maganda dito is kaya namin, naiintindihan namin kung nasaan kami, kung saan namin ipo-posisyon ang sarili namin. Walang takot to do everything today because tomorrow hindi natin alam kung mayroon pang tomorrow. May nag-e-exist na paniniwala na you do what you have to do today, I’ll do what I have to do today, we have the rest of our lives.”

Angelica Panganiban Hints on 'Special Relationship' with John Lloyd Cruz

Angelica Panganiban posted a collage photo of her with rumored flame John Lloyd Cruz on Instagram last Sunday, the first time that the versatile actress shared something about her and John Lloyd publicly.

In the photo, Angelica Panganiban and John Lloyd Cruz were smiling together with the camera in one of the four frames of the collage which also showed Angelica and a scene of what could be a picnic (or a romantic date) at the rooftop armed with grilled fish and beer bottles.

The photo was labeled “Perfect Sunday!!!! According to the guy in pink.” Apparently, John Lloyd is the guy wearing pink. In the photo's caption, Angelica said "Welcome, happiness. Joy, pursued. Welcome everyone. Especially those who are smiling out of warmth."

Just recently, reports about Angelica Panganiban and John Lloyd Cruz's random sightings came abuzz with others claiming that they have seen the two hot Kapamilya properties kissing. These intensified speculations that Angelica and John Lloyd were dating and now in a 'special relationship.'

Is the above photo a confirmation that Angelica and John Lloyd are officially together and ready to shout to the world their feelings? Both are now officially single after their respective break up with former romances Derek Ramsay and Shaina Magdayao, so there's nothing wrong that these two enjoy each other's company.

Somehow, they look good together. That leaves us to watching the Star Magic 20th anniversary movie where John Lloyd and Angelica will be playing reel lovers. Could it be that their Vietnam shooting made them real lovers?
