Blood Ransom New Promotional Posters Released! Anne Curtis as Crystal Introduced

Tectonic Films has just released new promotional posters for the upcoming Hollywood indie movie Blood Ransom which stars our very own Anne Curtis and Alexander Doetsch.

The latest Blood Ransom teaser photos features some members of the cast including it's main lead, Crystal played by Anne Curtis. In the said photo, Anne is wearing a tight-fit leather jacket and a knee-high boots, with her left thigh exposed.

In a teaser photo released earlier in July, Anne Curtis was seen fierce (with long, black fingernails) gripping a shirtless Alexander Doetsch (see the hot teaser photo here).

Meanwhile, here are the other teaser photos for Blood Ransom which was shot by the director himself, Fil-Am Francis dela Torre and Jasmin Kuhn. Blood Ransom is slated for a 2013 release.

Anne Curtis and Alexander Doetsch will be paired up in the Hollywood indie movie Blood Ransom which is produced by Tectonic Films. The movie is directed by Francis dela Torre and is expected to hit theaters in 2013.

A hot teaser photo of Anne Curtis and Alexander Doetsch hit the web lately to promote Blood Ransom. The photo shows a fierce Anne Curtis (with long, black fingernails) gripping a shirtless Alexander Doetsch.

In Blood Ransom, Anne Curtis and Alexander Doetsch will be embarking on a dangerous love affair while escaping the hunt initiated by Roman. Before the run, Alexander who plays Jeremiah, will kidnap Anne who plays Crystal, Roman's girlfriend (see more of the plot here).

With the photo above, could there be a reason why Anne appeared fierce with those glaring eyes and tight hold? Probably there is a secret behind Crystal's character. Could she be a vampire or something in Blood Ransom? Well, that makes this movie more exciting.

Anne Curtis Returns this June 26 from Blood Ransom Shoot

Anne Curtis is set to return to the Philippine this June 26 after one month of shooting in California for the Hollywood movie Blood Ransom.

In her official Twitter account, Anne Curtis shared that she will be back to the country on Tuesday. Anne, although saddened by Blood Ransom movie shoot getting to a pack-up, shared how much she misses the her friends and co-hosts in Manila.

“Just a few more days to go. Manila & my Showtime Family, I'll be seeing you guys on Tuesday!”

Anne will be resuming her hosting job on It's Showtime upon her return and for sure, she will have lots of stories to tell about her Hollywood movies shoot and meeting celebrities like Jennifer Aniston and Pinoy fashion blogger Bryanboy who is soon to serve as judge in America's Next Top Model.

Anne posted another teaser photo of her movie Blood Ransom on Instagram. She also encouraged her followers to follow @bloodransomfilm on Twitter for more Blood ransom movie updates. The movie is set for a 2013 reelase.

Video: Anne Curtis Shares Excitement For Hollywood Movie Blood Ransom

Anne Curtis talks about her Hollywood movie Blood Ransom before she left for the states for the movie shoot. The video was released by Viva Entertainment few days after Anne officially announced that she will star in the said Hollywood film.

Anne Curtis said that she's "super duper excited to find out what the story is, who I’m gonna be working with, and just to see how it is working in the States.”

Anne, however was not sure whether to leave the country if ever he Hollywood stint will become successful. “I don’t know. That would be something I would definitely have to ponder about because, you know, my life is here,” Anne told the interviewer.

Anne Curtis left for the States to shoot for Blood Ransom where she will play Crystal (click the movie's link for more information about her role. The movie, which is a crime/thriller is produced by Tectonic Films and directed by Francis dela Torre.

Local clothing brand Folded and Hung has just released its latest denim collection with their 2012 "Dare Me To Denim" campaign featuring Anne Curtis.

Folded and Hung's latest denim innovation, spray-painted denim will be launched as this season's hot item with Anne Curtis' newest F&H billboard. The brand, according to StyleBible.ph, "uses the sophisticated white jeans as a base, then paints them with delicious colors like maroon, royal blue, and black, in skinny and slim silhouettes."

A Sneak Peek on Anne Curtis' Blood Ransom Film

Anne Curtis confirmed yesterday, June 6 that she will indeed star in the Hollywood film Blood Ransom. Anne revealed the good news on twitter posting a picture of her via instagram with her in a 'missing person 'poster.

She then posted another picture today, June 7 and this time with a 'wanted' tag for actor Alexander Doetsch.  Check out Anne's tweets and shared photos below.

On May 23, Anne Curtis bid goodbye to her It's Showtime family saying that she will be out of the country for a month to pursue her dreams. She did not divulge the real reason why she's leaving at the time. However, Ogie Diaz broke the news early on Twitter saying that the reason Anne was leaving Showtime was because she landed a full-length role in a Hollywood film.

Anne in response to Ogie denied his statement saying "mali po kayo" but just yesterday, Anne had to redeem herself of not divulging anything about the project until it's time to do so.

Early reports claimed that Anne will be the only Filipina in the cast of Blood Ransom but she said that it was not true after a fan asked her about the early claims.

In Blood Ransom, Anne Curtis will play the role of Crystal who will be kidnapped by Jeremiah (played by Alexander Doetsch) (see more of the Blood Ransom plot here). It also stars Clifton Powell as Detective Hobbs, Caleb Hunt as Roman and Jamie Harris as Bill. Other members of the cast include Dion Basco as Oliver, Darion Basco as Daniel, Kevin Meany as Mr. Manningham, Emily Skinner as Emily,  Sven Holmberg and another Filipino Suzette Ranillo as a certain Tita Paz.

Blood Ransom is a crime/thriller (which is entirely different and not an adaptation of Sophie McKenzie’s novel of the same title) produced by Tectonic Films. It is written and directed by Francis dela Torre, the director of Jericho Rosales' Hollywood starrer, Subject: I Love You. 

Anne Curtis' Blood Ransom is set for a 2013 release.

Anne Curtis Hollywood Movie 'Blood Ransom' Reason Why She's Leaving 'Showtime'

Anne Curtis will be doing a Hollywood movie with a working title Blood Ransom, the reason why she bid goodbye to her It's Showtime family last May 23. 

Anne will be missing hosting the ABS-CBN noontime show for a while as sh will be away for one month to film for Blood Ransom. Anne will be the only Filipina who will be joining the all-American cast.

Blood Ransom will be directed by Filipino-American Francis dela Torre, the director of Jericho Rosales' hollywood movie starrer, Subject: I Love You. Produced by Tectonic Films (also the producer of Subject: I Love You), Blood Ransom is a crime thriller film.

Here is the plot of Blood Ransom which will also star Anne Curtis:

The story of "Blood Ransom" starts when Jeremiah, a Filipino immigrant hiding in America from his past, is forced into a plot to kidnap Crystal, his American boss’s beautiful young girlfriend, the plot goes terribly wrong when Jeremiah’s accomplices botch up the simple plan. Jeremiah’s boss, Roman, unleashes the psychopathic hit man, Bill, to hunt down the kidnappers. When Crystal refuses Jeremiah’s offer to return her to Roman, Jeremiah and Crystal begin a dangerous love affair on the run.With Bill, hot on their trail, Jeremiah must stay one step ahead, as Bill coldly murders every rival and innocent bystander in his blood lust to find his prey. As the danger hurtles forward, Jeremiah and Crystal’s love growing with every hour they’re together, a darker deeper secret burns within Crystal.
