MMK Shares Life of Identical Gay Twins Played by Nathan and Gammy Lopez (Nov 23)

The star of 2005’s internationally-acclaimed independent film “Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros” Nathan Lopez will act opposite his identical twin Gammy in ABS-CBN’s “Maalaala Mo Kaya” this Saturday (November 23). 

In the episode directed by Nuel Naval, Nathan and Gammy will portray the roles of identical twins Elmer and Eric, who were very close since childhood. However, after the death of their soldier father, Elmer chose to come out as gay—a decision disliked by Eric, who is a ‘closet queen.’ 

Also part of the fun and heartwarming “MMK” episode are Jackielou Blanco, Nikki Valdez, Ricardo Cepeda, Kit Thompson, Karen Reyes, Icy Mendoza, Karen Dematera and Hyubs Azarcon. The episode was written by Benson Logronio and Arah Jell Badayos and researched by Akeem del Rosario. “MMK” is led by business unit head Malou Santos, production manager Roda Dela Cerna, and executive producers Cathy San Pablo and Lindsay Dizon.

New Cast of LUV U: Nash, Sharlene, Jairus, Mika, Alexa and Kobi

Goin’ Bulilit graduates Nash Aguas, Alexa Ilacad, Kobi Vidanes, Sharlene San Pedro and Mika dela Cruz along with “Super Inggo” former child star Jairus Aquino make a big comeback on television. They comprise the new cast of the hit afternoon teen comedy series “LUV U.”

The new season will focus on the students’ relationship with their parents and siblings, as well as tackle thrill of fun of high school and the bittersweet experience of first love.

“Apart from the ‘kilig,’ viewers will also be provided with insights and lessons about dealing with teenage dilemmas as well as family problems,” says Ricky Victoria, head writer of “LUV U.”

Victoria adds that with these new elements, the show hopes to attract older viewers like moms and dads.

Aside from the new enrollees of Lamberto Uy Villarama University (LUV U), “Let’s Go” Alumna Eda Nolan will also enter the fun-filled university as a new teacher. To add more delight, the character of Bentong (Mang Jules) will also have a love interest in the person of Allora Sasam.

Fans of “LUV U” are excited for the new love teams. In fact, netizens are guessing who these pairs will be through their tweets and Facebook status updates.

Kapamilya child wonder Xyriel Manabat shares to fellow kids the importance of obeying their parents in the 'Lara Laro' episode of her “Wansapanataym” special this Saturday (May 19).

This week, Xyriel portrays the role of Lara, a disobedient child who loves to play all the time. Until one day, she meets two playful dwarves who will drain out her energy. Are these dwarves set to give Lara a lesson? Will Lara finally realize the value of her parents' guidance?

Together with Xyriel in the episode are Christian Vasquez, Jason Gainza, Daisy Reyes, and Hyubs Azarcon. It is written by Joel Mercado and directed by Tots Sanchez-Mariscal.

“Wansapanataym” is a part of ABS-CBN’s “Bida Best Kid” campaign launched recently that aims to empower children by encouraging them to become who they want to be and the best that they can be. It doesn’t only entertain and educate its young viewers with its values-oriented, child-friendly programs, but supports their dreams and aspirations as well.
