Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo is still a certified Kapamilya after renewing her contract with her home studio ABS-CBN. Sarah signed another two-year contract with ABS-CBN on Monday, December 16.
Present during the contract signing were ABS-CBN president and CEO Charo Santos-Concio, TV Production head Laurenti Dyogi, broadcast head Cory Vidanes, talent manager Vic del Rosario and Sarah's parents.
"Solid Kapamilya po talaga," Sarah said at the sidelines of contract signing. "Very grateful sa ABS-CBN kasi very welcome ako lagi dito and well-loved and appreciated, so where else I would rather be, hindi ba?"
As part of the contract, Sarah will still be seen as a coach in the second season of The Voice of the Philippines. Other shows for Sarah are still in the planning stage but she surely would welcome another acting stint in Asia's longest-running drama anthology Maalaala Mo Kaya.
Will Sarah be having a teleserye soon?
"Ang paggawa ng serye, mahal ko din 'yan pero kailangan ko ding alagaan ang boses ko. Kasi kapag gumagawa ka ng series talagang puyatan. Talagang 'yung acting na gagamitin mo 'yung boses mo ay hindi mo pwedeng [dayain] yan," Sarah told ABS-CBN News.
Meanwhile, it is not yet revealed whether Sarah's own drama anthology, Sarah G Presents will push through next year. It can be recalled that the project was shelved because Sarah became busy as a coach in the first season of The Voice PH.
