National TV Ratings (March 22-25): Ina Kapatid Anak Beats Juan Dela Cruz

National TV Ratings (March 22-25): Ina Kapatid Anak Beats Juan Dela CruzIna Kapatid Anak beats Juan Dela Cruz on Monday, March 25 after being in second place for a long time. The Kim Chiu-Maja Salvador starrer got 34.6% against 33.9% of Coco Martin's teleserye according to Kantar Media/TNS.

Apoy Sa Dagat hit its all-time high 28.6% on Monday as the episode featured the return of Rebecca in the person of her twin sister Serena. Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw also inched up on Monday hitting 17.4%, also record high since it was moved to a later timeslot.

The Lenten special of It's Showtime was also more watched than the rival Eat Bulaga's presentation.

The highly anticipated ‘return’ of Rebecca (Angelica Panganiban) in the person of her twin sister Serena (Angelica) recently gave ABS-CBN’s most passionate primetime drama series “Apoy Sa Dagat” its highest national TV ratings since it premiered last February 11.

Based on the latest data from Kantar Media last Monday (March 25), “Apoy Sa Dagat” reached its all-time high national TV ratings of 28.6%, or 12 points higher than the 16.6% earned by its newest rival program in GMA “Mundo Mo’y Akin.” 

Now that Serena owns the life of Rebecca, will she succeed in her mission to take revenge on people who maltreated her sister, including Adriana (Angel Aquino)? What will Odessa (Aiko Melendez) do now that her daughter is alive? ABS-CBN’s most passionate primetime drama series “Apoy Sa Dagat” continues to rule on its timeslot and even defeated the finale episode of its rival program as viewers watched with bated breath the exciting turn of events and the much-awaited reunion of lost twins Rebecca and Serena both portrayed by award-winning actress Angelica Panganiban.

Based on the data from Kantar Media last Friday (March 15) when the controversial face-off between Adriana (Angel Aquino) and Rebecca, who was thrown off the Jones Bridge, “Apoy Sa Dagat” obtained a high national TV ratings of 25.1% vs. the farewell episode of GMA’s “Pahiram ng Sandali” that only scored 19.6%.

Now that the twins’ mother, Odessa (Aiko Melendez), is back in the Philippines, how will she change the lives of the two families–Lamayre and Del Sol–who made her suffer? Did Rebecca really die? Apoy Sa Dagat starring Angelica Panganiban, Piolo Pascual and Diether Ocampo regained its more than 25% TV rating nationwide on Thursday (March 14) according to Kantar Media/TNS. The intense revelations in the said hot primetime series was very much anticipated by the viewers.

Meanwhile, Kahit Konting Pagtingin ratings continue to drop which could be one of the reasons why ABS-CBN decided to move it to the Kapamilya Gold slot and replace it with Little Champ even without much time to promote the fantaserye. ABS-CBN has reclaimed leadership in both daytime and primetime viewing according to the latest TV ratings data from Kantar Media/TNS.

ABS-CBN shows dominated the Top 10 daytime and primetime shows on March 11 and 12 with Be Careful with My Heart leading the daytime pack, its Kapamilya Gold shows beating all rival programs and the undisputed Primetime Bida on the reigns.

Piolo Pascual sported a new look for in preparation for his transformation in the hit teleserye Apoy Sa Dagat. In the said series, Piolo plays Ruben, a strong-willed fisher folk who fell in love with Serena played by Angelica Panganiban.

Piolo has to cut his long hair to have a clean look for another twist in the story. He looks so much younger with his shorter hair which is also fit for the summer season.

Apoy Sa Dagat is a consistent primetime winner since its debut and with the twists unfolding week by week, and the drama is also getting more intense. In the latest data by Kantar Media, the show garnered 23.6% TV rating nationwide, beating its rival Temptation of Wife which only got 16.1%.

Now that Serena is in the city to seek cure for her adoptive mother, will she now meet her twin Rebecca? Will Ruben survive after the deep fishing accident he had? What will happen to Serena now that she will be working at the Lamayres?

'Apoy Sa Dagat' Spoof in Goin' Bulilit this Sunday (March 10)

Laugh and cry at the newest teleserye spoof of “Goin’ Bulilit”, “Champoy sa Dagat”, featuring Mutya as Angelica Panganiban, Barbie as Angel Aquino, and Belinda as Nikki Gil this Sunday (March 10).

Apart from drama, the bulilit boys will mimic the bad boy Robin Padilla in their segment “Action Star”. The kids will also show the funny happenings during elections in their timely campaign gags.

Award-winning actress Aiko Melendez will soon be part of the hot and compelling story of ABS-CBN’s top-rating primetime drama series “Apoy Sa Dagat.” She will portray the character of Odessa, the mother of the twins Rebecca and Serena (Angelica Panganiban), initially played by Nikki Gil in the series’ well-acclaimed back story.

National TV Ratings (March 5): Indio Beats Apoy Sa DagatEpic-serye Indio starring Sen. Bong Revilla scored a high TV rating on Tuesday (March 5, 2013) hitting 22.1%, one of the highest nationwide ratings it has registered so far. The series ranked fifth in the top programs for the said day (4th in primetime) beating Apoy Sa Dagat.

The Angelica Panganiban starrer, however, is able to beat its rival Kapuso show Temptation of wife. Juan Dela Cruz maintained its primetime supremacy followed by Ina Kapatid Anak.

ABS-CBN dominated nationwide TV ratings for the month of February 2013 by virtue of its weeklong top-caliber primetime offerings that continue to gain significant increases as more and more viewers watch them on both weekday and weekend nights.

ABS-CBN dominated the primetime block bolstered by the viewership of its top programs “Ina Kapatid Anak,” which enjoyed a national TV rating of 37.2% and superhero drama “Juan Dela Cruz” with 37.9%. “Princess and I,” meanwhile, finished on top of its game with a whopping 38.1% on its much-anticipated finale last February 1.

The fourth season of talent reality show “Pilipinas Got Talent” rose to 28.4%, while newcomer “Apoy sa Dagat” blazed on primetime with a strong 25.6%. “Maalaala Mo Kaya” (30.4%) continued to outperform rival program “Magpakailanman,” which only managed 21.3%. “TV Patrol” also remained as the country’s number one newscast with a national TV rating of 28.5%.
