G Toengi Covers FHM August 2012 Issue, One Hot Momma!

Actress-host Giselle Toengi (or G Toengi) graces the cover of FHM Philippines August 2012 issue, her first since she debuted on an FHM cover way back in 2001.

At 34, G Tongi (with the magazine dropping the 'e' on her surname) still exuded that hot element when she first posed for the magazine 11 years ago at the height of her popularity as an MTV Asia VJ. In this August 2012 FHM cover, G wears a stylish lingerie, aside from that sensual look.

Now with two kids, G Tongi is staging her showbiz comeback via the hit early primetime series Aryana where she played Stella Cervantes-Mendez, the new wife of Aryana's father played by Tonton Gutierrez.

'Aryana' Spoof 'Arowana' a Hit in Goin' Bulilit

While the teen mermaid “Aryana” continues to soar in primetime television, its bulilit counterpart, “Arowana” continues to spread fun and laughter on “Goin’ Bulilit” (GB) during Sunday nights.

Arowana celebrated her 14th birthday and even though Ofelia faked her birth certificate, it didn’t stop Neptuna from finding out the truth. The spell worked its magic on Arowana and turned her into a mermaid. Because she lost her legs, the presents given to her for her birthday such as her stockings, leggings, shoes and bike went to waste. What will happen to Arowana now that she’s a mermaid?

Meanwhile, the GB kids will deliver hilarious sketches on “Marathon”, “Bumper” and “Cycling” as well as their entertaining segments, “Musical”, “Ang Corny” and “Closing Game”.

They will also introduce their version of the popular talent search called “EXag Factor”.

All these and more this Sunday (July 29) on “Goin’ Bulilit” after “TV Patrol Weekend” on ABS-CBN.

Kantar Media (July 18-19) TV Ratings: Be Careful With My Heart Hits 21.7% Rating

ABS-CBN's Prime-Tanghali offering Be Careful With My Heart continues to dominate daytime nationwide TV ratings as it registered its highest so far of 21.7% last Thursday, July 19. The Jodi-Papa Chen starrer is now the country's number 1 program in daytime.

ABS-CBN now dominates not only in primetime but also in daytime. Seven Kapamilya daytime programs landed on the top 10, five of which came from it's afternoon line-up, 'Kapamilya Gold.'

Meanwhile, Walang Hanggan still tops the primetime race although it has not regain it's 40%+ TV ratings. Aryana, on the other hand created another record of reaching 24.2% last July 19.

Aryana Love Triangle Wins the Heart of TV Viewers

Kapamilya teen stars Ella Cruz, Dom Roque and Paul Salas have kept TV viewers glued to their seats as their love triangle intensifies in ABS-CBN’s top-rating Primetime Bida fantaserye, “Aryana.” 

Based on the latest data of Kantar Media last Friday (July 13), “Aryana” reached 21.1% national TV rating, compared to its rival program in GMA, “My Daddy Dearest” which only got 9.2%.

Ella Cruz Happy with Mermaid Role, Aryana Soars High in Ratings

Kapamilya primetime princess Ella Cruz has truly captured the hearts of TV viewers as the magical ‘tail’ of her top-rating fantaserye “Aryana” continues to soar high in the ratings game. Based on the latest data of Kantar Media, “Aryana” ranked no. 10 in the list of overall top TV programs in the Philippines for the month of June with an average national TV rating of 22.4%.

Aside from its avid viewers, the primetime tween mermaid revealed that she, too, enjoys her role Aryana who recently transformed as a mermaid. “It feels good to see the beautiful world underwater because I feel like I’m really part of it,” Ella said.

Despite the exhausting scenes that they had to shoot underwater, Ella shared that all the hard work she is exerting is worth it. According to her, “I’m not really having difficulties with shooting underwater because I’m really enjoying my character. It’s like a dream that came true.”

ABS-CBN Ulan 2012 Station ID Teaser - Aryana Cast

ABS-CBN has released the third teaser for their Ulan Station ID 2012 featuring the cast of the hit early primetime series Aryana. 

In the teaser are teen idols Ella Cruz, Paul Salas and Dom Roque which are all dripping wet inside an abandoned building.

The first teaser features Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz while the second one had Julia Montes, Paulo Avelino, Joem Bascon and Melissa Ricks of Walang Hanggan. The song teaser also creates interest saying "da best ang feeling 'pag ikaw ang kasama sa tag-ulan."

BTW, have you noticed what Dominic Roque was wearing inside his jacket. It was the striped sando he used to have in several pictures of him. It must be a lucky charm for Dom.

ABS-CBN Clinches 12 of the 15 Top Programs for June 2012

Kantar Media released the list of the Top 15 most-watched programs nationwide (urban + rural Philippines) for the month of June 2012. ABS-CBN dominated the list with 12 programs figuring in the top 15.

“Walang Hanggan” remains to be the most watched program in the country with an average TV rating of 41.8%. The Coco Martin-starrer led the twelve ABS-CBN shows in the top 15 programs.

Royal teleserye “Princess and I” came in second place with a national TV rating of 38.6% followed by the number one weekend program “Maalaala Mo Kaya” on third with 35.9%.

“TV Patrol,” on the other hand, remains to be the leading newscast in the country scoring a national TV rating of 31.8% vs rival “24 Oras” with 17.6%.

Making an entry in the top 15 are “The X Factor Philippines” and “Aryana” on the 8 th  and 10 th  spots respectively. The biggest musical event of the year scored a national TV rating of 24.4% while the story about a tween mermaid hit 22.4%.

Other Kapamilya programs in the top 15 are “Wansapanataym” (33.2%), “Rated K” (26%), “Dahil sa Pag-ibig” (25.3%), “Kapamilya Deal or No Deal” (23.1%), “Goin Bulilit” (22.3%), and “ Sarah G Live” (20.3%).

Kantar Media (June 26-28) TV Ratings: Dahil Sa Pag-ibig Surpasses 30% Mark!

Dahil Sa Pag-ibig registered its highest rating to date with a 31.1% on June 27, making it the 3rd most-watched program on TV after Walang Hanggan and Princess and I according to the nationwide data (urban + rural) provided by Kantar Media/TNS.

ABS-CBN Primetime Bida continues to dominate Filipinos' viewing habit starting from Aryana which also garnered a record-high 26% and TV Patrol which reached 35.1% on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Kapamilya Gold is now nearing to claim daytime leadership with Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo  beating Eat Bulaga as the most-watched daytime program for about a week now. Mundo Man Ay Magunaw and Hiyas also consistently register high ratings, beating their rivals.

Dominic Karl Roque or simply Dom Roque has been a talk-of-the-town ever since he appeared on ABS-CBN's primetime series Aryana where he plays Hubert Francisco, a cutie classmate of half-sisters Megan and Aryana Mendez and a third wheel to Aryana-Marlon love team.

Dom Roque, despite playing a teenage role is actually 21 years old, a student of De La Salle College of St. Benilde taking up Tourism. He is a nephew of Beth Tamayo and has appeared on ABS-CBN teleserye Habang May Buhay topbilled by Judy Ann Santos.

MMK's Father's Day episode starring Matt Evans is the most watched program last Saturday, June 16 according to ratings data provided by Kantar Media for the period June 16-18, 2012. On Sunday, Rated K remained on top.

Meanwhile, NBA Finals dethroned Eat Bulaga once more as the most-watched daytime program nationwide last June 18. ABS-CBN Primtime Bida is still unbeatable with Walang Hanggan, Princess and I, TV Patrol, Dahil Sa Pag-ibig and Aryana occupying the top 5 slots.
