The final battle of the 2012 Skechers Streetdance Battle 8 happened Saturday, November 17 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. The Skechers Streetdance Battle is the country's most prestigious streetdance competition bringing together the best high school and college dance crews.
Ten High School and 16 Colleges & Universities dance crews competed in the final battle to earn the ultimate championship and be called as the country's supreme dance crew.
Hosted by DJ Sam YG and host/dancer Gab Valenciano and with thousands in attendance, Skechers Streetdance Battle 8 Champions were determined by a panel of judges composed of Jon Supan, Leal Marie “Lema” Diaz, Kenjohns Serrano, Prince Paltu-ob, Matt “Dumbo” Nguyen of Poreotics and Wilson Ong of Whiplash Dance Company.
Here are the winners of the 2012 Skechers Streetdance Battle 8:
- Champion - LSGH Airforce (La Salle Greenhills)
- 1st Runner-Up - Terpsichore (St. Paul College-Pasig)
- 2nd Runner-Up - CSA Dance Troupe (Colegio San Agustin)
- Champion - La Salle Dance Company (De La Salle University-Manila)
- 1st Runner-up - UPLB Street Jazz (University of the Philippines-Los Banos)
- 2nd Runner-up - Ateneo Dancers (Ateneo de Manila University)

Hiroyuki Shiki of Bulacan State University
Amiel Garces of Miriam College High School
The 2012 Skechers Streetdance Battle 8 champions (college and high school categories) went home with Php 100,000 each. Meanwhile, the two most fashionable dancers won Php 10,000 worth of Skechers shoes and Skechers Time watches.
