Ella Cruz Signs Exclusive Contract With ABS-CBN

Teen actress Ella Cruz who played the young Jasmin in the hit teleserye Dahil Sa Pag-ibig is now officially a Kapamilya!

Ella signed an exclusive contract with ABS-CBN yesterday, March 28. Present in the contract signing are ABS-CBN big bosses, President Charo Santos-Concio, Channel 2 Head Cory Vidanes and Entertainment Head Linggit Tan.

Ella is slated to do a Kapamilya fantaserye with a working title Aryana where she will play another mermaid role. Many fans hope that her Dahil Sa Pag-ibig leading man, Francis Magundayao will be part of this show. Unfortunately, there are reports that Francis is not included in Aryana and another Star Magic artist will play Ella's leading man.

Could Paul Salas (Oka2kat) be the Aryana leading man some blind items are referring to? Paul Salas also signed a contract with ABS-CBN the day Ella inked her deal. Was this a sign of a new TV team up?

Francella fans should work hard to promote Francis and Ella tandem so that the management will change their decision and push through with a show for Francella.

'MMK' and 'Sarah G Live' Top Weekend TV Viewing

Maalaala Mo Kaya and Sarah G Live are the most-watched TV programs nationwide last weekend according to the TV ratings data provided by Kantar Media for the period March 16-18, 2012. MMK starring Nash Aguas and Mika dela Cruz got 26.9% while Sarah G Live with Erik Santos and Angeline Quinto as guests garnered 22.2%. This was the first time that Sarah's show toppled down weekly no.1, Rated K and the first time that it reached the top spot 4 weeks after its premiere.

Meanwhile, there is nothing that can beat Walang Hanggan on primetime as it continues its rating supremacy, followed by Dahil Sa Pag-ibig and E-boy.

Ella Cruz Topbills New Series 'Aryanna'

Teen star Ella Cruz who played the young Jasmin Valderama in the new series Dahil Sa Pag-ibig is reportedly doing a new teleserye under ABS-CBN. Last week, it was revealed here that Ella will be starring in a new fantaserye. Today, ABS-CBN news reported that Ella will indeed topbill a new teleserye with a working title Aryanna.

According to speculations, Ella will play another mermaid role in this new fantaserye. From last week's report, Ella is said to be joined by a young Star Magic hearthrob/dancer, a new Star Magic young female talent, a comedian actress, dramatic kontrabida actresses and a veteran male actor.

It seems that the comedian actress is Pokwang, which is also reported to be part of a new television series.

Are you excited to see Ella in her own TV series? According to sources, Ella will sign up with ABS-CBN Star Magic soon so we will expect her to be visible in the Kapamilya network from now on.

Let's just hope that her Dahil Sa Pag-ibig love team Francis Magundayao will also take part in this series. With the buzz these two are creating nowadays, ABS-CBN might also sign Francis to be part of this new and upcoming fantaserye.

Angel Locsin To Shoot Teleserye in Peru?

Is it true that Star Awards Best Actress for Movies Angel Locsin will shoot her next teleserye in the South American country Peru? There are rumors surfacing the web claiming that Angel will be flying to Peru where her upcoming ABS-CBN teleserye will be set. The said source also claim that Angel is now practicing again her horseback riding skills for the said project.

If the rumor is indeed true, we can commend ABS-CBN for bringing a new flavor to its every production. This year, there is not only one Kapamilya teleserye that shot some scenes outside the country. 

Piolo Pascual's Dahil Sa Pag-ibig shot some scenes in Italy while Coco Martin and Dawn Zulueta also showed us the said country's grandeur via Walang Hanggan. Kathryn Bernardo is currently in Bhutan with Gretchen Barretto, Enrique Gil and Albert Martinez for Princess and I while Shaina Magdayao and Jake Cuenca had already did some scenes in Doha, Qatar for Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo. 

There are also rumors that John Lloyd and Bea's reunion teleserye, A Beautiful Affair will be shot in Austria. Then, Angel is next with this 'Peru' thing.

As for now, we can just hope for the best to come but the idea of ABS-CBN shooting another TV series abroad is just insanely good news as this would mean that better quality and expensive teleseryes are coming our way plus the fact that we got to see the rest of the world even at home.

'Dahil Sa Pag-ibig' Album To be Launched This March 18

ABS-CBN's most awaited teleserye on primetime, Dahil Sa Pag-ibig will be launching its official teleserye soundtrack this Sunday, March 18, 4 PM at the SM North EDSA Skydome. Following the footsteps of successful teleserye soundtracks (the latest of which was Walang Hanggan), the said OST is expected to top charts after its release.

The Dahil Sa Pag-ibig teleserye soundtrack will feature songs played on the series which give meaning and life to every scene. The tracks include:

Ella Cruz of 'Dahil Sa Pag-ibig' to Star in a New Fantaserye

In less than a week, ABS-CBN's newest primetime offering Dahil Sa Pag-ibig had already captured the hearts of viewers. Even if its lead stars had not yet appeared, many fans praised the performances of the teen stars which played the roles of young Alfred (Francis Magundayao) and Jasmin (Ella Cruz) Valderama. These two tweens are now creating waves of their own.

It seems that ABS-CBN will maximize tween stars nowadays as the management is said to be producing another fantaserye with Ella Cruz as the lead star. The teaser for the said upcoming kapamilya fantaserye premiered at the celebrity screening of Dahil Sa Pag-ibig and hopefully will premiere on TV soon.

According to TFC Godfather, the said fantaserye will be topbilled by Ella Cruz. She will be joined by a young Star Magic heartthrob/dancer, a new Star Magic young female talent, a comedian actress, dramatic kontrabida female actresses and a veteran male actor.

Ella Cruz started out as a Kapuso artist before appearing on ABS-CBN shows like Goin Bulilit, MMK and Angel Locsin's Only You. ABS-CBN might have seen the potential of Ella as an actress and signed her up for the project.

Well, this will be exciting as another fresh face will be launched as the next big thing. I just hope she will again be partnered with Francis Magundayao as the chemistry between these two young stars is just perfect to start out with another tween team up which will bring 'kilig' to fans.

'Sa Kanya' By Piolo Pascual Music Video (Dahil Sa Pag-ibig)

Here is the music video for ABS-CBN’s newest primetime teleserye, Dahil Sa Pag-ibig featuring the song 'Sa Kanya' performed by Piolo Pascual. The new drama series had its successful premiere last night, March 12. The song 'Sa Kanya' was an original of singer-songwriter, Ogie Alcasid.

ABS-CBN's newest and most awaited teleserye on primetime, Dahil Sa Pag-ibig will premiere later after Walang Hanggan. Before we get hook with the characters, lets first have an idea on where they are coming from.

Dahil Sa Pag-ibig Premieres This March 12

ABS-CBN’s newest ang most-awaited Primetime Bida teleserye will finally premiere this Monday (March 12).

Topbilled by Piolo Pascual, Jericho Rosales, Christopher de Leon, Cristine Reyes, and Maricar Reyes; “Dahil sa Pag-ibig” features the story of how the battling beliefs of Alfred (Pascual) and Oliver (Rosales) began from the greediness of Leo Valderama (de Leon).

Completing the ‘powerhouse’ cast are some of the respected names in the industry such as Ronaldo Valdez, Sandy Andolong, Tetchie Agbayani, Rafael Rosell, Denise Laurel, Freddie Webb, Rey PJ Abellana, Carla Martinez, Joonee Gamboa, Bing Davao, Melissa Mendez, Malou Crisologo, Cheska Iñigo, Jeffrey Santos and Edward Mendez; with the special participation of Joel Torre; and introducing young teen stars Ella Cruz and Francis Magundayao. 'Dahil Sa Pag-ibig' Official Full Trailer Unveiled!

ABS-CBN had released a full trailer for its latest offering, Dahil Sa Pag-ibig. The said teleserye is another one great production and dubbed as the most awaited teleserye on Primetime. The said series will star a mix of caliber actors including Piolo Pascual, Cristine Reyes, Christopher De Leon, Maricar Reyes and Jericho Rosales.

The said teleserye will also showcase the acting prowess of Sandy Andolong, Tetchie Agbayani, Rey PJ Abellana, Denise Laurel, Rafael Rosell and Mr. Ronaldo Valdez.

Soon to hit ABS-CBN Primetime Bida on March 12, the series is directed by Darnel Joy Villaflor and Avel Sumpongco.

Jericho Rosales Drops Hint About New Girlfriend

Jericho Rosales revealed some clues on the identity of his new girlfriend. In an interview with PEP.ph, Echo said that his girlfriend is 24 years old and a host in the ETC channel for one of its fashion lifestyle show. He also revealed that he and his girlfriend are both into sports, particularly surfing.

Jericho also pointed out that her girlfriend is well-loved by his family, friends and managing company, Genesis. He reiterated that his new girlfriend is a very nice person, fun and 'kalog' and he don't want to build this up more. He will just let the people discover the realness in her.

Well, analyzing Jericho's clues, it seemed that his new girlfriend could be any of the hosts of fashion lifestyle show, Etcetera. She could either be Kim Jones or Patti Grandidge. Patti is said to be just 23 years old while Kim is 24.

Who do you think she was? Let's hope Echo will reveal soon but according to Push.com.ph, Echo is referring to Kim Jones, a Fil-British hottie who grew up in Australia but left when she was in her teens (probably the reason why she didn't speak like an Aussie. She appeared in many TV commercials for Jollibee, Globe and Sun Cellular.

Echo will be part of ABS-CBN's upcoming teleserye, Dahil Sa Pag-ibig which will premiere soon (replacing Budoy). He will be joined by Mr. Christopher De Leon, Piolo Pascual, Maricar Reyes and Cristine Reyes.

Dahil Sa Pag-ibig Teaser (Video)

ABS-CBN had released a teaser for the upcoming teleserye, Dahil Sa Pag-ibig (a much shorter and direct title from its previous Nang Dahil Sa Pag-ibig). Prior to this, the series is tentatively called Padre De Pamilya.

The series is topbilled by four hot Kapamilya actors, Piolo Pascual, Cristine Reyes, Maricar Reyes and Jericho Rosales. Also included in its high-profile cast are Christopher De Leon, Sandy Andolong, Tetchie Agbayani, Rey PJ Abellana, Denise Laurel and Rafael Rosell.

The said series is directed by Jerry Lopez Sineneng and is set to replace Budoy, which is now on its last 3 weeks.
