According to the latest data from Kantar Media, ABS-CBN’s newest fantaserye has reached 19% national TV rating, its highest national TV rating so far, compared to the 11.5% of of its rival program in GMA, “Alice Bungisngis.”

“Aryana”s magical ‘tail’ is off to entice its avid viewers even more with the exciting twists and turns in the lives of the well-loved tween mermaid Aryana (Ella). If you are watching ABS-CBN's Aryana, you probably wonder who is the cute guy in Aryana's school that seem to have a role in the life of our teen mermaid. The guy plays the role of Hubert Francisco, someone who will be close to Aryana (Ella Cruz) in her school. He will play a triangle with Ella Cruz (Aryana) and Paul Salas' (Marlon) characters. The cute guy's real name is Dom Roque.

Dominic Karl Roque or Dom Roque studied at the De La Salle College of Saint Benilde and took up Tourism. According to Pokwang, he is the nephew of Beth Tamayo. With a baby face, age does not matter in this 21 year-old heartthrob as he can still play a teenage school boy in the show.

Dominic Roque is not new to showbiz as he did a supporting role in Judy Ann Santos' teleserye Habang May Buhay where he played Mark, the son of Rio Locsin (the nurse aunt of Judy Ann's character).

Aryana Enters Top 10 Most-Watched Programs Nationwide!

ABS-CBN’s newest fantasy drama “Aryana” is now part of Philippines’ top 10 overall TV programs.

Based on the latest data of Kantar Media, the fantaserye topbilled by newest Kapamilya primetime princess, Ella Cruz ranked no. 10 in the list of overall top TV shows. “Aryana” soared high with 16.9% national TV rating while its rival program in GMA, “Alice Bungisngis” only garnered 12.1% national TV rating.

With “Aryana”s success, Ella assured the viewers that the next episodes will be more endearing, especially to her fellow teenagers. She shared, “Now that Aryana enrolls in a new school, kids can relate with her everyday experiences since everybody will be back to school soon and everything about school will be back too–classroom routines, curricular activties, campus crushes, friends, and even enemies.”

But if there is anything that Ella is proud about their show, it is the good example that her character Aryana sets among her fellow teenagers. “I love Aryana because she loves her family so much. Primetime TV’s first-ever tween mermaid truly made a big splash in its pilot episode as Aryana soared high in national TV ratings.

According to the latest data from Kantar Media, the newest fantasy drama of ABS-CBN ruled its timeslot with a 15.6% national TV ratings, compared to the 11.7% national TV ratings of its rival program Alice Bungisngis of GMA.

Aryana lead star Ella Cruz expressed delight over her fantaserye’s recent success. “Thank you to all the TV viewers who supported us. There are much more must-see episodes in the weeks to come,” she said. “Watch out for the transformation of Aryana and how she will become a teen mermaid.”

Aryana to Premiere this May 7 on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida

ABS-CBN is all set to make the biggest splash this summer as its newest fantaserye Aryana joins the winning roster of primetime drama series.

Topbilled by 2008 FAMAS Best Child Actress Ella Cruz, the much-awaited fantasy tale features the adventures of a typical teenager named Aryana (Ella) whose life makes a full twist on her 14th birthday as a dark curse turns her into a mermaid.

According to Ella, doing Aryana is a fulfillment of her ultimate dream. "It has always been my childhood dream to be an actress and to star in my own teleserye in ABS-CBN. When I saw Ate Julia (Montes) and Kathryn (Bernardo) doing their own shows, I told myself that I want to have my own someday," said the former Goin’ Bulilit child star who recently made a mark among TV viewers in her portrayal as the young Cristine Reyes in the top-rating drama series Dahil sa Pag-ibig.

ABS-CBN Aryana Official Trailer

ABS-CBN has just released the official trailer of Aryana. The Aryana official trailer premiered last night before PBB Teen Edition 4. This fantaserye is directed by Erick Salud (Mutya) and Lino Cayetano (Growing Up).

The trailer showed a little bit of Aryana’s roots. Aryana (Ella Cruz) happens to be the daughter of Victor (Tonton Guttierez) and Ofelia (Pokwang) who was taken by an avenging, condemned mermaid (Desiree del Valle) to the sea after her daughter was killed in a series of explosion caused by dynamite fishing.

Teen actor Paul Salas will be Ella Cruz' leading man in the upcoming ABS-CBN series Aryana. Ella Cruz will star as a teen mermaid in this newest fantaserye of the Kapamilya network.

Ella Cruz and Paul Salas had their ABS-CBN contract signing on the same date and these two teen stars are destined to be paired from that day on. 

Ella Cruz will be playing her first lead role after a well-praised performance as the teen Jasmin Valderama in Dahil Sa Pag-ibig. Meanwhile, Paul Salas had a starring role in Oka2kat which will have its last 3 weeks. He also appears as a guest on the hit Kapamilya situation comedy Toda Max as Pokwang's (Lady G) nephew.

Pokwang To Play Aryana's Mother in Teleserye

Ace comedienne Pokwang will have a big role in the upcoming fantaserye Aryana which is topbilled by Ella Cruz. According to reports, Pokwang will play the role of Aryana's (Ella Cruz) mother.

Early reports said that Aryana is a young mermaid so we might also speculate that Pokwang is a mermaid yet with this kind of story, the possibility that Pokwang is a human being impregnated by a sea creature can also be considered.

As to the other members of the cast, rumors has it that Paul Salas will be Ella's leading man in Aryana. Jane Oineza, who is Paul's co-star in Oka2kat is also reported to be a member of the cast.

Aryana has already started shooting and this new fantaserye of Ella Cruz might air soon before classes resume in June.

Ella Cruz Signs Exclusive Contract With ABS-CBN

Teen actress Ella Cruz who played the young Jasmin in the hit teleserye Dahil Sa Pag-ibig is now officially a Kapamilya!

Ella signed an exclusive contract with ABS-CBN yesterday, March 28. Present in the contract signing are ABS-CBN big bosses, President Charo Santos-Concio, Channel 2 Head Cory Vidanes and Entertainment Head Linggit Tan.

Ella is slated to do a Kapamilya fantaserye with a working title Aryana where she will play another mermaid role. Many fans hope that her Dahil Sa Pag-ibig leading man, Francis Magundayao will be part of this show. Unfortunately, there are reports that Francis is not included in Aryana and another Star Magic artist will play Ella's leading man.

Could Paul Salas (Oka2kat) be the Aryana leading man some blind items are referring to? Paul Salas also signed a contract with ABS-CBN the day Ella inked her deal. Was this a sign of a new TV team up?

Francella fans should work hard to promote Francis and Ella tandem so that the management will change their decision and push through with a show for Francella.

Francis Magundayao Stars in MMK this March 31 with John Manalo

Dahil Sa Pag-ibig wonder Francis Magundayao will star in an MMK episode together with John Manalo this March 31.

This will be the first time that John Manalo will be appearing on television drama after a long absence. He play the character Eris in the top-rating drama, Mara Clara. He is supposed to be casted in Luv U opposite Miles Ocampo. Maybe, there is a bigger role for him in the future that is why he is not included in the said project.

Meanwhile, this will be the first time that Francis Magundayao will topbill an MMK episode (even his first starring role in a drama anthology). I'm sure many fans are very excited to watch Francis' MMK episode. Francis gained a lot of following since he appeared in Dahil Sa Pag-ibig playing the young Alfred Valderama (Piolo Pascual) with Ella Cruz (young Jasmin). In fact, the two had already a huge fanbase  named Francella (Francis + Ella).

I hope this will be the start of a bigger future for Francis. The guy had a lot to offer in terms of acting, more so that he had established a 'kilig' team up with Ella Cruz (who will star in fantaserye Aryana) which seems so appealing to younger viewers.

Let's also wish John Manalo good fortune in his endeavour. This young fella from Goin Bulilit had evolved into a handsome young man now, so you should also watch out for him.

Ella Cruz Topbills New Series 'Aryanna'

Teen star Ella Cruz who played the young Jasmin Valderama in the new series Dahil Sa Pag-ibig is reportedly doing a new teleserye under ABS-CBN. Last week, it was revealed here that Ella will be starring in a new fantaserye. Today, ABS-CBN news reported that Ella will indeed topbill a new teleserye with a working title Aryanna.

According to speculations, Ella will play another mermaid role in this new fantaserye. From last week's report, Ella is said to be joined by a young Star Magic hearthrob/dancer, a new Star Magic young female talent, a comedian actress, dramatic kontrabida actresses and a veteran male actor.

It seems that the comedian actress is Pokwang, which is also reported to be part of a new television series.

Are you excited to see Ella in her own TV series? According to sources, Ella will sign up with ABS-CBN Star Magic soon so we will expect her to be visible in the Kapamilya network from now on.

Let's just hope that her Dahil Sa Pag-ibig love team Francis Magundayao will also take part in this series. With the buzz these two are creating nowadays, ABS-CBN might also sign Francis to be part of this new and upcoming fantaserye.

Ella Cruz of 'Dahil Sa Pag-ibig' to Star in a New Fantaserye

In less than a week, ABS-CBN's newest primetime offering Dahil Sa Pag-ibig had already captured the hearts of viewers. Even if its lead stars had not yet appeared, many fans praised the performances of the teen stars which played the roles of young Alfred (Francis Magundayao) and Jasmin (Ella Cruz) Valderama. These two tweens are now creating waves of their own.

It seems that ABS-CBN will maximize tween stars nowadays as the management is said to be producing another fantaserye with Ella Cruz as the lead star. The teaser for the said upcoming kapamilya fantaserye premiered at the celebrity screening of Dahil Sa Pag-ibig and hopefully will premiere on TV soon.

According to TFC Godfather, the said fantaserye will be topbilled by Ella Cruz. She will be joined by a young Star Magic heartthrob/dancer, a new Star Magic young female talent, a comedian actress, dramatic kontrabida female actresses and a veteran male actor.

Ella Cruz started out as a Kapuso artist before appearing on ABS-CBN shows like Goin Bulilit, MMK and Angel Locsin's Only You. ABS-CBN might have seen the potential of Ella as an actress and signed her up for the project.

Well, this will be exciting as another fresh face will be launched as the next big thing. I just hope she will again be partnered with Francis Magundayao as the chemistry between these two young stars is just perfect to start out with another tween team up which will bring 'kilig' to fans.
