Angel Locsin Named Most Tweeted Celebrity; Vice Ganda, Twitter Influencer of the Year

It's Showtime and Gandang Gabi Vice host Vice Ganda leads this year’s list of top Twitter “influencers” in the Philippines according to the list released by the popular microblogging site.

Vice Ganda was named 2013 Twitter Influencer of the Year in the Philippines for garnering millions of "retweets," which "clearly showed his presence" on Twitter.

Actress Angel Locsin was named most tweeted celebrity, while It’s Showtime and Be Careful With My Heart were named hottest variety show and TV soap on Twitter, respectively.

The most tweeted movie of the year was Sisterakas which also stars Vice Ganda along with Kris Aquino and comedy queen Ai Ai Delas Alas. The said movie was also the highest-grossing film of all time in the Philippines. 

Meanwhile ABS-CBN’s Sagip Kapamilya was the most talked about social responsibility campaign on Twitter. Other top local influencers in their respective categories include:

Marian Rivera and Angel Locsin Vie for Top Spot of FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2013

Marian Rivera currently leads the first update of FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2013. The Kapuso star was followed by Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin who is last year's runner up. Meanwhile, last year's winner, Sam Pinto settled on third place.

Completing the list of the top 10 as of the first update are Solenn Heussaff (4), Cristine Reyes (5), Anne Curtis (6), Georgina Wilson (7), Angelica Panganiban (8), Jessy Mendiola (9), and Ellen Adarna (10).

SM Accessories recently named its first ever set of celebrity endorsers to banner its Holiday and Pre-summer collections, the brand’s biggest campaign of the year. Dubbed as the 'Supreme Four,' SM Accessories' launched Xian Lim, Anne Curtis, Richard Gutierrez and Georgina Wilson as their latest fashion ambassadors.

Xian, Anne, Richard and Georgina were chosen as the four faces of the brand not only because they are famous and successful in their own fields, networks, or the paths they are pursuing but also because of their compelling sense of fashion.

Georgina Wilson is Ginebra's 2013 Calendar Girl

Model and TV host Georgina Wilson was launched as the newest Ginebra San Miguel Calendar girl for the year 2013. Georgina followed the footsteps of friends Anne Curtis and Solenn Heussaff as the face of the brand's annual calendar.

 In the calendar photos shot by famed photographer Mark Nicdao, Georgina Wilson was looking so hot and sexy in white bikini while leaning on the white sand with the clear blue beach waters and sky in the background. In another photo, Georgina sported a pink bikini while holding a surf board. 

Other girls who became the face of Ginebra's calendars include Krista Ranillo, Iwa Moto, Marian Rivera and Maureen Larazzabal. Ginebra's 2013 calendar with sexy Georgina Wilson will be available starting this November.

The video which instantly became a hit on YouTube was the idea of Georgina Wilson. With them are friends Raymond Gutierrez, Carla Humphries, Erwan Heussaff, Borgy Manotoc, Adrien Semblat, Nico Bolzio, Eric Dee, and a special appearance by Congressman Manny Pacquiao.

The Unkabogable Vice Ganda celebrates his birthday in a 2-part Gandang Gabi Vice episode to be aired this April 1 and 8. Dubbed as the 'Trending Birthday Concert', the said birthday concert of Vice was attended by his closest friends from showbiz.

The birthday concert of Vice Ganda was taped last March 25 in front of a live audience at the SM Skydome. Guests in the said concert include heartthrobs (and Vice's crushes) Xian Lim, Kean Cipriano, Jake Cuenca, Enchong Dee, Enrique Gil, and Jon Avila.

Also present are funny Angelica Panganiban, Bangs Garcia and comedian Ethel Booba. High-profile personalities Raymond Gutierrez, Georgina Wilson, and Liz Uy also graced the said event.

All-time favorite jukebox band Aegis will render their own 'octave' performance of Super Bass (Vice's favorite dance step). The country's top rock bands Kamikazee and Parokya ni Edgar will also rock the skydome with award-winning Pinoy rapper Gloc-9. Mr. Pure Energy, Gary Valenciano will also add fun and excitement to this unkabogable show.
