Arron Villaflor and Alex Gonzaga Topbill Kilig Story in MMK (November 30)

Kapamilya stars Alex Gonzaga and Arron Villaflor will star in ABS-CBN’s “Maalaala Mo Kaya” this Saturday (November 30).

In the Raz dela Torre-directed episode, Alex and Arron will portray the roles of best friends, Gel and Marq. Somewhere along their friendship, Gel found love for her closest ‘boy friend.’ Is it worth risking your friendship to tell your best friend that you like him?

Also part of the upcoming “MMK” episode are Ingrid dela Paz, Shy Carlos, Pamu Pamorada, Josef Elizalde, Yvez Flores, Ryan Boyce and Annika Gonzales. The story was researched by Akeem Jordan del Rosario and written by Arah Jell Badayos and Benson Logronio. “MMK” is led by business unit head Malou Santos, production manager Roda Dela Cerna, and executive producer Lindsay Dizon.

Angeline Quinto is a Clown in MMK (July 13)

After almost a year, singer-actress Angeline Quinto is set to return to Asia’s longest-running drama anthology “Maalaala Mo Kaya” on Saturday (July 13).

In the upcoming heavy drama “MMK” episode, Angeline plays Ellah, a loving daughter who is willing to do everything for her family, especially when their father abandoned them for another woman. To make ends meet, Ellah has to work as a clown while studying, which tests her patience not only with kids but also with life’s struggles.

Aside from Angeline, the “MMK” episode will also feature Irma Adlawan, Joey Marquez, Bea Basa, Aldred Gatchalian, Michelle Vito, Deborah Sun, Gio Alvarez, Tanya Gomez, Marc Solis, Ingrid Dela Paz, K-La Rivera, Rufami, and Roden Araneta. Inspired by her family, Ingrid had been long-wanting to pursue a career in acting since she was in high school. Being a member of the drama club boosted her confidence. Now a college student at the Far Eastern University, she hopes to be able to make of her come true and become famous. Ingrid made her first on screen appearance in an episode of “Maalaala Mo Kaya.”

Star Magic Circle 2013 Revealed; Meet the 12 New Faces of Star Magic

ABS-CBN talent management arm Star Magic has introduced its newest breed of stars. Dubbed as Star Magic Circle 2013, Star Magic's freshest batch of discoveries include new faces, sons and daughters of showbiz royalties and former child wonders.

According to Star Magic, the new crop of Star Magic artists are now ready to prove that they have what it takes to succeed in the world of show business. After undergoing rigorous training and workshops, these new breed of stars will not only impress Kapamilya fanatic with their looks but also with their outstanding talent.

Star Magic Circle 2013 will soon conquer the airwaves, movies and television. Some of the members, however are already familiar since they have already been part of ABS-CBN teleseryes and movies. The new batch of Star Magic artists will be formally launched this March 17 on ASAP 18.

Manilyn Reynes Topbills MMK Halloween Special this October 27

Prepare to scream in the Halloween episode of “Maalaala Mo Kaya” this Saturday (October 27), topbilled by seasoned singer-actress Manilyn Reynes. Manilyn will play the role of Anna a mother and wife, whose third eye is open.

Anna’s happy married life started to suffer when she confessed her extra-ordinary ability to her husband Sonny (Gio Alvarez). Granting her husband’s request, Anna tried her best to live a normal life and ignore her third eye. But everything changed when Anna’s husband and youngest son started to see the spirits and feel the souls around them. How is it for a family to live with their third eyes opened? 

Together with Manilyn and Gio in MMK’s horror episode are Neil Coleta, Barbie Sabino, Auriette Divina, Liz Alindogan, Jong Cuenco, Koreen Medina, Gerald Pesigan, Gelo Echaluce, and Ingrid Dela Paz.
