Equator Man Premieres on ABS-CBN Kapamilya Gold this September 10

They started as best friends and ended up as mortal enemies in life and in love. As they go face-to-face in a long overdue battle for truth, who will win and who will lose?

Beginning this Monday (Sep 10), ABS-CBN premieres another intense story about a man looking for the light of justice amidst his blindness in 2012’s most thrilling Korean drama “Equator Man” (watch the full tagalized trailer here).

Follow the story of Samuel and Jeric, two different individuals who will form a bond of friendship despite their differences— Samuel is the strong, laid back one, while Jeric is the smart and anti-social. The two will unexpectedly get along and become the best of friends. Their friendship, however, will be challenged and destroyed by fate.

Due to compromising circumstances, Jeric’s father accidentally kills Samuel’s guardian. The incident will lead to an altercation between the two unknowing friends, where Jeric ends up hitting Samuel in the head. Jeric then disposes of Samuel’s body by pushing it over a cliff, but the latter managed to survive.

Samuel wakes from unconsciousness only to find out he has lost his sight. He continues his mission to seek justice for his father with the help of Gian, a volunteer reader for visually impaired people who will offer to help him and serve as his eyes.

Fate draws Samuel and Jeric together once more as Jeric carries on his personal mission to hide the truth from a former friend and fights for Gian, the woman he has loved ever since.

ABS-CBN brings you Korea's number 1 action drama for 2012, Equator Man. Dubbed as this year's 'most thrilling Korean drama' Equator Man premieres this September 10 on Kapamilya Gold replacing City Hunter Returns.

Equator Man aired in Korea last March on KBS. It is television series about friendship and rivalry following the story of Samuel Kim who is betrayed and beaten by his best friend Jeric Lee, resulting to coma and blindness. After waking up from his coma of 13 years, he started his quest for revenge and investigates on the reason of his father's death.

Starring Uhm Tae-woong (Sassy Girl Chun Hyang, Queen Seondeok) and Lee Joon-hyuk (I Am Legend, City Hunter), with Lee Hyun-woo (To The Beautiful You - Hana Kimi Korean) and Siwan of ZE:A as the teen Samuel and Jeric, respectively, Equator Man is surely one big K-drama to watch out for.

Dramatic Twists in 'Two Wives' Hook TV Viewers

The dramatic twists and turns in ABS-CBN’s morning Korean drama series “Two Wives” has hooked more Filipinos nationwide as the lead character Victor awakened from a coma looking for the wife he divorced and forgetting the new woman in his life.  

Its TV viewership went as high as 18.8% nationwide among urban and rural homes last Tuesday (Aug 21) and ranked 8th among the top ten most watched programs based on data from Kantar Media. 

It had more viewers than GMA’s “Eat Bulaga” on the said date rating at 15.3% as well its rival program that only rated 8.1%. “Two Wives” has been consistently beating rival shows for the past weeks. 

Desperate to get Victor’s love back, Janine connives with Albert and convinces him to do everything to make Yvonne fall in love with him. Will they succeed in their plan to set Yvonne and Victor apart?

Yvonne Goes Face-to-Face with Husband's Mistress in 'Two Wives'

The much-awaited face off between the Yvonne and Janine happens this Friday (July 20) in weekday mornings’ Korean drama series “Two Wives.” 

Yvonne is all set to fire back at the woman who destroyed her marriage and family. She organizes a ‘divorce party’ where the unknowing Janine will provide the flower arrangements. Janine doesn’t know that it was Yvonne who personally placed the orders at her shop since the latter underwent a make-over. Both Janine and Victor will be in for a big surprise as Yvonne finally confronts her husband’s mistress.
