ABS-CBN opens the pages of one of the most provocative stories to be ever told on television beginning this Monday (May 28) as it premieres “Precious Hearts Romances presents Hiyas” starring the first team up of Zanjoe Marudo and Megan Young.

This PHR series marks the return of sought-after leading man Zanjoe in a soap opera and marks the first daring role to be portrayed on television by host-actress Megan. Joining the two are model-turned-actor, Edward Mendez, and princess of Pinoy indie films, Mercedes Cabral.

Kantar Media (May 15-17) TV Ratings: Walang Hanggan Still No. 1, Kapamilya Gold Inching Close

ABS-CBN's Walang Hanggan is still the most-watched TV program nationwide based on the data provided by Kantar Media/TNS for the period of May 15-17, 2012. The Coco Martin-Julia Montes starrer registered another record-high 37.5% TV rating last May 16.

ABS-CBN Primetime Bida shows won by mile in TV ratings. Notable growth was observed with Ella Cruz' Aryana which is now consistent in the top 10 primetime programs nationwide and sinking Alice Bungisngis. 

Meanwhile, Kapamilya Gold programs are now inching close to rival nationwide as Mundo Man Ay Magunaw and Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo figured in the top 10 daytime programs. It's Showtime is also gaining more viewership as Eat Bulaga is dethroned by The Good Daughter as daytime leader.

The Plot Thickens in 'Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo'

ABS-CBN's first-ever OFW-serye, Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo captured the hearts of Filipinos worldwide especially those working in various parts of the Middle East including the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Doha, Qatar as they got to witness the first few episode of the said teleserye.

Lead stars Jake Cuenca, Bangs Garcia, and Shaina Magdayao, together with the series’ co-director, Lino Cayetano, personally joined the Filipinos in the Middle East who witnessed the first few episodes Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo.

After the screening, a mix of emotions from the audience members filled the venues; most of them cried and missed their loved ones because of the realistic portrayal of the life of OFWs in the Middle East.

Meanwhile, the plot thickens in Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo as Paul (Jake) and Sarah (Shaina) start their married life. Now that they have decided to live with Paul’s family, the strength of love will be put to test with the meddling of Remedios (Gloria Diaz) in their relationship. Unlike other wives who remain meek despite the harshness of their mothers-in-law, Sarah knew how to protect herself. With her wife and her mother’s clash, whose side will Paul be on?

Kantar Media TV Ratings (April 23-26): ABS-CBN Primetime Bida Reigns!

ABS-CBN Primetime Bida continues to dominate nationwide TV viewing according to the latest ratings data provided by Kantar Media/TNS for April 23-26, 2012.

Walang Hanggan still leads the pack with the usual over 30% TV ratings. Kathryn Bernardo's Princess and I came in second followed by Dahil Sa Pag-ibig  and TV Patrol. PBB Teen Edition 4 slips down a bit in the ratings game.

Meanwhile, Kapamilya Gold programs are still doing good in the afternoon slot yet unable to topple rivals.

ABS-CBN maintains its primetime supremacy nationwide according to the TV ratings data provided by Kantar Media for the period of April 20-22, 2012. 

ABS-CBN Primetime Bida claims top 5 slot on Friday, April 20. Walang Hanggan is still unbeatable at no. 1 followed by Princess and I, Dahil Sa Pag-ibig, TV Patrol and PBB Teen Edition 4.

Meanwhile, Saturday and Sunday viewing remains to be with the Kapamilya shows as MMK starring Sharlene San Pedro as a 13-year old mom and Rated K are the two most-watched programs last weekend, April 21-22.

Kapamilya Gold is also inching to the top of the ratings game as Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo, Mundo Man Ay Magunaw and PBB Teens 4 UBER 2012 provide a good competition while figuring in the top 10 most watched programs nationwide.

Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo 'The Making' (Video)

ABS-CBN, in celebration of Kapamilya Gold's 1st anniversary, brings you Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo, a drama about 3 people set in the Middles East.

Starring Shaina Magdayao, Bangs Garcia and Jake Cuenca, Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo  is directed by Manny Q. Palo and Lino Cayetano. Premieres on April 16.
