Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla (KathNiel) appeared live on The Buzz together on Sunday, March 10 to promote their movie Must Be...Love which will open in cinemas this March 13. The said guesting is part of the KathNiel weekend wherein the love team graced several ABS-CBN shows.

The KathNiel The Buzz guesting was made more 'kilig' when the two were tasked to ask questions to each other while holding hands. In their Q&A, both asked what gift they would want to receive from each other as a birthday present. Kathryn, who will celebrate her 17th birthday on March 26 revealed that she wanted a Louis Vuitton bag from Daniel while the latter wanted a pair of shoes from Kathryn come his 18th birthday on April 26.

Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla return on Gandang Gabi Vice this March 10 for another fun-filled and 'kilig much' episode.

KathNiel fans will surely be staying late at night just to watch Kathryn and Daniel play with Vice Ganda. Apparently, the two will promote their upcoming movie Must Be...Love showing on March 13 (Wednesday). 

ABS-CBN made this weekend a KathNiel weekend as Kathryn and Daniel will grace several Kapamilya shows such as Toda Max and Banana Split Extra Scoop on Saturday (March 9) and ASAP 18 and GGV on Sunday, March 10. Perhaps the two will also have another appearance on The Buzz.

Star Cinema has released the official movie poster of Must Be... Love, Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla's very first full-length movie together. Formerly Love Me, Maybe, the KathNiel movie is one of the most-awaited films this summer.

After the successes of their team up on television and the movies 24/7 in Love and Sisterakas, Kathryn and Daniel's magic in the big screen will be tested in this movie. Introducing Hope Soberano (billed as Liza Soberano) as the third wheel in the KathNiel love team, Must Be... Love, is ready to bring 'kilig' this season.

Also starring John Estrada, John Lapus, Ramon Christopher Gutierrez, Arlene Muhlach, K Brosas, Janus Del Prado, Paul Salas, Sharlene San Pedro, Kit Thompson, Miguel Morales and Cris Gabriel Queg and under the direction of Dado Lumibao (Princess and I), Must Be... FrancElla Regarded as Next KathNiel, Aryana Hits All-Time High 27.3% Rating

Kapamilya tween mermaid Ella Cruz has revealed that she is extremely flattered with the undying support of TV viewers in her top-rating Primetime Bida fantaserye “Aryana” as the show recently reached it all-time high national TV rating.

Based on the latest data of Kantar Media last Wednesday (October 3), “Aryana” clinched its highest national TV rating of 27.3% since it aired last May 2012. Its newest rival program in GMA “Moon Embracing The Sun” only registered 18.1% national TV rating.

Meanwhile, Ella also shared how overwhelmed she is with the clamor of fans that her love team with “Aryana” co-star Francis Magundayao is going to follow the sensational success of the Kathryn Bernardo-Daniel Padilla tandem.

“It is good to hear that there is no competition happening,” said Ella. “It feels great when they say that we are going to be the next ‘KathNiel’ because their tandem is one of the best and popular love teams today.”

When asked why she thinks that TV viewers root for ‘Franc-Ella’ (Francis and Ella) love team, the Kapamilya primetime princess said that it maybe because of their great teamwork. “Francis and I always help each other to make our scenes beautiful. I also believe that avid fans fell in love with our tandem because Francis is a great actor.”

Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla (KathNiel) Celebrate First Anniversary

ABS-CBN’s primetime TV princess and prince–Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla–are happy to share their love team’s first anniversary with ‘KathNiel’ fans worldwide.

“Thank you very much for supporting ‘Princess and I’ every night. We are so grateful to everyone who loves us,” said Kathryn and Daniel who both believe that their fans were the ones who made all their accomplishments for the past year possible.

Since they were paired in the hit youth-oriented show “Growing Up” on September 2011, Kathryn and Daniel’s love team became a TV sensation that led them to a string of remarkable milestones in their respective showbiz careers including their top-rating primetime royal teleserye, being consistent trending topics in various social networking sites, well-attended mall shows, and their growing number of endorsements.

But prior their sensational success, Kathryn and Daniel confessed that they were both shocked that TV viewers got hooked with their tandem.

“I really thought our love team won’t work since we’re both moreno. It’s so unusual,” shared Kathryn. “That’s why it somehow became a challenge for us that made us exert effort for the viewers to appreciate our team-up.”

Daniel, meanwhile, admitted that Kathryn was his lucky charm for the past year. “I received a lot of blessings since Kath and I were teamed-up,” said Daniel who was recently given a platinum record award for his top-selling, self-titled debut album. “It seemed that every great thing in my career happened because I was with Kathryn.”

Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla Join 'Sisteraka' Cast

Teen idols Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla (KathNiel) will be part of the upcoming Star Cinema and Viva Films 38th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF 2012) entry Sisteraka starring Kris Aquino and Vice Ganda.

The great news was confirmed by Sisteraka lead herself, Kris Aquino on her talk show Kris TV  Monday morning.

This MMFF 2012 entry will be the first time that Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla will be paired up for a movie project. KathNiel, as what their love team is called, had been successfully partnered in television shows such as the teen series Growing Up and the now hit Royal teleserye Princess and I.

Surely, KathNiel fans will be delighted with this news, saving all their money just to buy a ticket for Christmas Day's showing of Sisteraka. 

Sisteraka (although the title is subject to change) will mark Daniel Padilla's first big screen project while this will be Kathryn's 2nd consecutive time to star in an MMFF entry. She was part of Shake Rattle and Roll 13 last year.

It seems like Kris is fond of the KathNiel love team. In Kris' teleserye Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw, Daniel Padilla was made to play the young Robin Padilla while Kathryn was also requested to play Kris' younger version but the role was rumored to be played by another teen actress.

Daniel Padilla's Debut Album 'Hinahanap-Hanap Kita' Now Available for Download!

Kapamilya teen sensation Daniel Padilla conquers Philippine music scene as he releases his first album titled Hinahanap-Hanap Kita.

From working his charms on TV like in the defunct Sunday teen-oriented series, Growing Up and in the current top-rating primetime 'royal teleserye,' Princess and I, Daniel finally took his chance to serenade his very supportive fans, to whom he dedicates his album.

“It’s always been my dream to have my own album that's why I am really happy that I was given this opportunity. I am really enjoying this chance not just for me, but for my fans as well,” he said.

Now as an official recording artist, many are curious about his musical taste. Daniel shared that his ultimate singing idol is international big band crooner Michael Bubble. And when asked about his dream duet, Daniel candidly answered, “I am willing to work with anyone.”

Jennylyn Mercado Plays on Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal

Kapuso actress Jennylyn Mercado set foot on ABS-CBN grounds Thursday, April 12 for her guesting in the game show Kapamilya Deal or No Deal hosted by her boyfriend Luis Manzano. 

Her guest appearance on the game show is one of Jennylyns’s gifts to her boyfriend, who will celebrate his 32nd birthday on April 21.

Jennylyn Mercado was introduced by Luis Manzano as someone very close to his heart. Being a guest player in Deal or No Deal, Jennylyn had the chance to bring her friends, mother and Alex Jazz, her son with actor Patrick Garcia. 

Since Jennylyn came from rival network GMA-7, she was very nervous on her first take inside ABS-CBN studios.

“Syempre different station, so medyo iba ‘yung feeling, kinakabahan, nakakapanibago. Iba ‘yung mga taong nakakasalubong mo,” Jennylyn said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.

“Ngayon ko lang naramdaman ‘tong nerbyos na ito,” she said, when asked by boyfriend Luis Manzano how she feels being on the show.

This Saturday, Princess and I lead stars Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla will be answering the question "Is it a deal or no deal?" The said episode was taped last March and the kilig KathNiel tandem will surely spice up the Saturday evening.

In the teaser, Daniel said, "Pinapatagal ko lang (yung pagpili/game) para makasama ko 'to (referring to Kathryn who's beside him).

Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal airs every Saturday on ABS-CBN after TV Patrol Weekend.

Daniel Padilla Admits Missing Kathryn Bernardo During Bhutan Shoot

Daniel Padilla admitted that he missed Kathryn Bernardo when the actress went in Bhutan for the shoot of their teleserye Princess and I. In an interview with Push.com.ph, DJ (Daniel's nickname) revealed that he contacted Kathryn in Bhutan online.

“Oo siyempre naman na-miss ko siya. Nag-message ako sa kanya, hindi ko naman kailangan ipakita pa sa iba yun. Habang andun siya, nag-mall shows ako siguro pahinga na din.” 

Daniel, who has been very vocal with his feelings for Kathryn said he is hoping to date her leading lady if time allows. 

“Eh kung bibigyan tayo ng chance, bakit hindi di ba? Medyo malabo pa eh pero kayang walisin yang ka-busy-han na yan kung gusto mo naman talaga eh di ba? Basta gusto may paraan yan.”

This week, Daniel had started shooting with Kathryn for Princess and I. The sweet DJ said that he did not asked Kathryn to bring him 'pasalubong' from Bhutan. He's fine with just Kathryn returning home safe.

“Wala naman akong hiningi. Basta umuwi siya okay na ako.”

Was Daniel jealous of Enrique Gil who's been with Kathryn far away for almost 2 weeks? Here's what Daniel said in the interview.

“Wala naman tayong magagawa, kaibigan ko din naman si Enrique. At saka wala naman yun, okay lang. ano ba ang karapatan ko (laughs). Tatlo na leading man niya, medyo mahihirapan na ko (laughs). Wala naman tayong magagawa kung mangyari yun. hindi naman puwedeng pagbawalan na ma-partner sa iba.”

Daniel said that he will portray another 'emo' role in Princess and I, more like his role in Growing Up. DJ confessed that he always wanted to play such dark and mysterious characters.

Seeing Kathryn in Bhutanese Princess costume, DJ exclaimed,

 “Mas gusto ko yung balot. Mas maayos yun.”

It seems that Daniel is some sort of conservative when it comes to his girlfriend. With his straightforward answers, Kathryn might be in a 'kilig' state right now and surely, those teen girls would rather want Daniel as their boyfriend.
