ASAP 2012 Brings 'Kilig' with KathNiel, KimXi, FrancElla and Jodi-Papa Chen this September 16

Xian Lim Covers Garage Magazine September 2012 Issue

Kapamilya heartthrob Xian Lim is on the cover of Garage Magazine September 2012 issue. Xian was dubbed as "the breakout star of the year" by Garage. Xian is also on the cover of Inside Showbiz for September 2012.

Xian Lim is looking hot with that simple stare that could melt. Being one of Kapamilya network's best bet, Xian will be seen again on primetime television with Kim Chiu after My Binondo Girl.

Ina, Kapatid, Anak Teaser Trailer Released!

ABS-CBn has just released the teaser trailer for the upcoming teleserye Ina, Kapatid, Anak starring Kim Chiu, Xian Lim, Enchong Dee and Maja Salvador.

Ina, Kapatid, Anak marks the return on primetime of My Binondo Girl hit tandem Kim Chiu and Xian Lim (KimXi). Maja Salvador, who had a minor role in 'Binondo' will also reunite with the two. Enchong Dee will add spice in the series coming from his last teleserye, Maria La Del Barrio.

An all-star drama, Ina, Kapatid, Anak's story will revolve around the shoe industry and the struggles among the lead characters. In one of her interviews, Maja said that aside from its unique storyline, viewers should watch out for a lot of “explosive and dramatic” encounters between her and Kim.

Also starring Janice De Belen, Eddie Gutierrez, Cherrie Pie Picache, Ariel Rivera, Pilar Pilapil and Ronaldo Valdez, Ina, Kapatid, Anak is under the direction of Jojo Saguin and Don Cuaresma. The show is slated to premiere this October 8, 2012, and is said to replace Walang Hanggan.

Yahoo OMG! Awards 2012 Winners Revealed!

The Yahoo Philippines OMG! Awards 2012 concluded July 6 in a grand party at the SM Mall of Asia Arena where the official list of winners were revealed. The Yahoo OMG! Awards 2012 was hosted by Kapuso celebrities Raymond Gutierrez, Solenn Heussaff, and Isabelle Daza.

Kapamilya stars dominated the official list of Yahoo OMG! 2012 Awardees. KimXi tandem, Kim Chiu and Xian Lim was the big winner in the said awards night having won the Breakthrough actor and actress awards, Fan Club of the year and Love Team of the year.

Meanwhile, Angel Locsin beat Anne Curtis as the Actress of the Year while Coco Martin won the Actor of the Year counterpart. Anne Curtis however, won as the Celebrity of the Year. Luis Manzano and Bianca Gonzalez clinched the Best Male and female TV host, respectively.

Xian Lim Surprises Kim Chiu with a Tree of Roses for Her Birthday

Actor Xian Lim surprised leading lady Kim Chiu in yet another romantic gesture on her birthday last April 19. Xian, who is very vocal with his intentions with Kim gave the actress a tree of roses as a surprise gift.

During their story conference for their newest series, Ina, Kapatid, Anak, Kim revealed how the sweet gestures of Xian made her smile on her birthday.

Kim narrated:

“Noong birthday ko nasa bundok ako, wala akong signal, nagsu-shooting ako ng The Healing. Nung umuwi ako sa bahay, sa sala may puno ng flowers na naka-heart shape.”   

“Sabi ko sa mga kapatid ko, ‘Kanino galing ‘to?’ Sabi nila, ‘Di namin alam.’ Bigla siyang [referring to Xian] tumawag at nag-text kasi sinabihan siya ng mga kapatid ko na nasa house na ako.” 

“Red roses, ang dami-dami! Na-appreciate ko naman. Siyempre nakakagulat na may puno sa sala ng bahay ko. Nakakatuwa.”

It can be recalled that Xian once surprised Kim during their shoot for My Binondo Girl with Xian hiring a choir to serenade Kim (read story here).

Xian said it makes him happy seeing Kim smile. His romantic gestures, according to Xian were not something that's read from books but something that inspired by the heart.

With the sweetness the two were showing with each other, we cannot help but ask what's the real score between them. In fact, Xian and Kim go out together with Kim's sisters, who are also Xian's textmates. Kim has also met Xian's mother.

Kim said that their status need not any label and they are not into that status of exclusively dating. They just go out on friendly dates together with Kim's sisters.

“Hindi na kailangan ng label. Sa ngayon, labas-labas [lang kami].”

Xian agreed with Kim and said, “Hindi naman natin kailangan lagyan ng label but yes, we’re having fun every time we see each other. I’m happy and I hope she’s happy also.”

Kim Chiu and Xian Lim Lead 'Ina, Anak, Kapatid' Cast

My Binondo Girl hit tandem, Kim Chiu and Xian Lim will be paired up anew in the ABS-CBN upcoming teleserye, Ina, Anak, Kapatid. Kim and Xian (KimXi) will be joined by Maja Salvador, Enchong Dee and Mr. Eddie Gutierrez.

The said teleserye has long been announced although the cast was a bit different. In early reports, Jessy Mendiola admitted that she will be co-starring with Andi Eigenmann for this new teleserye. Apparently, the two had already been replaced by Kim and Maja. Andi is now one of the leads of Kahit Puso'y Sinugatan with Iza Calzado, Jake Cuenca and Gabby Concepcion while Jessy Mendiola will be a part of Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Isla together with Matteo Guidicelli and Jewel Mische.

Enchong Dee has been attached to the project since its conception while Martin del Rosario might have been replaced by Xian Lim. Joseph Marco was also previously reported as member of the cast but we don't know yet if he end up being replaced or his role retained.

Ms. Janice De Belen, after her well-praised performance in Budoy will again show her acting skills in Ina, Anak, Kapatid. I wonder if she will play the role of the mother (Ina) which was previously rumored to be given to Jaclyn Jose (the time when Andi was cast).

Based on early reports, Ina, Anak, Kapatid tackles two siblings which are ward to rivalry. Jessy Mendiola hinted that it will have Gossip Girl as a peg. However, we cannot conclude yet what will be taken as the story itself since the cast of Ina Anak, Kapatid will just be having their story conference today.

Cristine Reyes and Xian Lim Cover YES! May 2012

Two hot and sizzling Kapamilya, Cristine Reyes and Xian Lim are on the cover of YES! Magazine's May 2012 issue.

Cristine Reyes will be opening her multi-million peso dream house to YES. According to the magazine, Cristine, "the sexy star that many like to see as 'the other woman' is actually a thrifty, hard-working, and God-fearing girl who cried herself to sleep during those nights the world was against her."

Cristine will talk about her past and present love - Dennis Trillo and Rayver Cruz - while she has a take on Sarah Geronimo's "sorry attitude."

Meanwhile, the magazine put the spotlight on Kapamilya hunk actor, Xian Lim as he is "standing out and standing tall."

Xian also confessed something about Kim inside the pages of YES. According to Xian, he's always gonna make sure that Kim is happy and always feeling special whenever he's with her. How about that revelation?

Video: Xian Lim Debut Album 'So It's You' Teaser

Hunk actor Xian Lim's debut album is all set for a release this May 3. The said album entitled So It's You had also the song So It's You as the carrier single.

The song So It's You is originally done by Raymond Lauchengco and had been covered by Christian Bautista as a theme song of the movie Dream Boy topbilled by Piolo Pascual and Bea Alonzo.

Xian Lim's version was also that good and Xian's soothing voice was just right for this mellow song. This is much better than Xian's cover of Walking on Sunshine which is used in his McFloat commercial and now playing on radio stations.

Xian's debut album will be released under Star Records.

Kim Chiu 'Softly' Music Video and Lyrics

Primetime Princess Kim Chiu releases her own music video of a song entitled Softly as a birthday present to fans. Kim celebrated her 22nd birthday last April 19.

The said Softly music video was uploaded by Kim on her personal YouTube account the day she officially joined the YouTube community, April 18. Can this be part of a 2nd album for Kim? Well, her first album entitled Gwa Ai Di did well and Kim really can work that notes out. Kimerald and KimXi fans will be delighted if that happens.

The video's prologue contained Kim's gratitude to fans before speaking in front of the camera, "This is all for you.. Mwuah!"

Xian Lim Working on a Debut Album

After singing the jingle of his new McDonald's McFloat commercial, Walking on Sunshine, Xian Lim welcomes the possibility of entering the music scene. Xian said in an interview with ABS-CBN news that he loves acting but he also wanted to get into music.

Xian's very own version of Walking on Sunshine is already making waves on the radio. His rendition of this Katrina and the Waves hit is much slower and very much different from the original.

Xian also revealed to ABS-CBN news that he is now working for a possible debut album.

"We are working on it right now. Sana po kapag nabuo siya I will let everyone know. I think they are putting together songs for me. Ako I continue to write songs, at kapag na-release 'yan kayo ang unang makakaalam noon,"

Aside from singing, Xian is also interested to learn more of dancing. He is attending dance workshops to improve his dancing moves. He confessed that he wanted to see himself on the ASAP stage as a dancer, which is one of his dreams.

Xian's upcoming projects include the movie The Reunion with Enchong Dee, Jessy Mendiola, Julia Montes, Enrique Gil, Kean Cipriano and Megan Young. He is also set to star in another movie, this time with My Binondo Girl leading lady, Kim Chiu.

Hunk actor Xian Lim may have the world right on his feet with several projects coming his way, especially TV commercials. After his Rejoice 'Ligaw' TVC with rumored flare Kim Chiu, Globe and McDonald's TVC, he appeared again in another TV commercial for Century Bangus Breakfast Selection.

Xian Lim is shirtless the whole span of the TVC while he entices us with the three variants of Century Bangus (tocino, longganisa and tapa). Looks delicious!

Kim Chiu and Xian Lim Cover StarStudio's February 2012 Issue

Team Jandy, Xian Lim and Kim Chiu will be having their very first magazine cover together via 'The Love Issue' of StarStudio Magazine for the month of February.
