Enchong Dee and Erich Gonzales Reunite in Movie 'Once A Princess'

The phenomenal team up of Erich Gonzales and Enchong Dee returns to the big screen with the movie Once A Princess under Star Cinema. The project is a film adaptation of the the bestselling Precious Hearts Romances title of all time.

After the success of Bakit Hindi Ka Cruzh ng Crush Mo at the box office, Star Cinema once again ventures in a story from a famous book, this time by Angel Bautista. 

Once A Princess is about a girl named Erin Almeda, one of the elite princesses of Gibbons International School – beautiful, famous and popular. One day, she played with the innocent heart of the class geek Leonard Jamieson. Seven years later, the paths of Erin and Leonard crossed but it seemed that their roles had been reversed. 

The movie will be Enchong and Erich's reunion movie after their love team hit the big screen for the first time in 2010's I Do. They, however, have teamed up in several teleseryes like Magkaribal, Maria la del Barrio and Katorse, which launched their love team.

Once A Princess will be helmed by acclaimed director Laurice Guillen (Tanging Yaman). It is expected to be released this March 2014.

Aryana to Premiere this May 7 on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida

ABS-CBN is all set to make the biggest splash this summer as its newest fantaserye Aryana joins the winning roster of primetime drama series.

Topbilled by 2008 FAMAS Best Child Actress Ella Cruz, the much-awaited fantasy tale features the adventures of a typical teenager named Aryana (Ella) whose life makes a full twist on her 14th birthday as a dark curse turns her into a mermaid.

According to Ella, doing Aryana is a fulfillment of her ultimate dream. "It has always been my childhood dream to be an actress and to star in my own teleserye in ABS-CBN. When I saw Ate Julia (Montes) and Kathryn (Bernardo) doing their own shows, I told myself that I want to have my own someday," said the former Goin’ Bulilit child star who recently made a mark among TV viewers in her portrayal as the young Cristine Reyes in the top-rating drama series Dahil sa Pag-ibig.

Ella added that Kapamilya viewers will surely enjoy the ride with Aryana as she takes everyone to the challenging world of humans and the colorful paradise of the mermaids. Ella said that aside from its unique plot it has values to share. “Our show will also teach its viewers different lessons on family, love, and environmental awareness.”

Together with Ella in Aryana is its powerhouse cast composed of Pokwang, Tonton Gutierrez, Desiree del Valle, Laurice Guillen, Tetchie Agbayani, Giselle Toengi, Rustica Carpio, Lotlot de Leon, Bianca Manalo, Chokoleit, Michelle Vito, David Chua, Boom Labrusca, Marvin Yap, Louise Abuel, and Paul Salas. It is under the direction of Erick Salud and Lino Cayetano.

ABS-CBN's new fantaserye Aryana is coming to you this summer. Aryana will star Ella Cruz as a mermaid in yet another thrilling underwater story for the children and the whole family.

Aryana cast also include Pokwang (which will be playing Ella's mother), Tonton Guttierez, Desiree Del Valle, Rustica Carpio, Tetchie Agbayani, Lotlot de Leon and Ms. Laurice Guillen. Paul Salas and Jane Oineza are also rumored to be included in this new fantaserye.

With this teaser, it seems like Aryana will be a modern mermaid story set in today's techie world. The teaser somewhat reminded me of H20: Just Add Water. 


Another treat from ABS-CBN, Aryana will premiere on Primetime Bida this summer. Perhaps this will replace Wako Wako sometime in May.
