Aryana ended on a high note last Friday, January 25. The fantaserye starring Ella Cruz got 31.6% TV rating nationwide on its finale episode according to the data provided by Kantar Media/TNS.

Meanwhile, Be Careful With My Heart and Ina Kapatid Anak still the most-watched daytime and primetime programs in the country today. Kapamilya Gold is now inching Afternoon prime in TV ratings while Primetime Bida is still going strong.

Pokwang Achieves Another Milestone in 'Aryana'

Comedienne Pokwang recently shared that being part of ABS-CBN’s top-rating Primetime Bida fantaserye “Aryana” has marked a huge milestone on her career as it honed her skills as a drama actress.

According to Pokwang, who plays the role of Aryana’s (Ella Cruz) mother Ofelia, she will miss not only the opportunity to act with the top caliber cast of “Aryana” but also the closeness of the whole team. “I will really miss bonding with the whole cast. I will miss cooking for them and doing scenes with Victor (Tonton Gutierrez) and Stella (G Toengi),” said Pokwang. “I will never forget spending time with Ella who I already consider now as my daughter.”

Ella Cruz Emotional on Aryana's Last Two Weeks

Kapamilya tween mermaid Ella Cruz recently revealed that she is having mixed feelings about the nearing finale of her top-rating Primetime Bida fantaserye in ABS-CBN, “Aryana.”

“Aryana is so special to me because it changed my life and made all of my dreams come true,” shared Ella. “I feel really sad because I’m going to miss my character Aryana, my tail, and the people I have worked with whom I already consider as my family. But I’m very happy because of the unwavering support of TV viewers who all made our show successful.”

When asked who among her three leading men Francis Magundayao, Dominic Roque, and Paul Salas she will miss the most, Ella said that they are all her friends and that she will miss them all the same. “They all have different kinds of personalities that is why we also have different kinds of closeness.”

“I will never forget how ‘Aryana’ changed my life. It is the highlight of my 2012,” said Ella. “I’m very thankful to ABS-CBN for everything that happened to my life and my career this year.”

Because of her busy schedule, Ella shared that instead of buying expensive gadgets as her special reward for herself, she would rather have the simple joy of spending time with her family this Christmas. “All I want this Christmas is time to bond with my family. It may be simple, but it would really make me very happy.”

Kantar Media (November 13-14) TV Ratings: Ina Kapatid Anak Hits Highest Rating of 35.3%

Ina Kapatid Anak starring Kim Chiu, Maja Salvador, Xian Lim and Enchong Dee reached its season-high 35.3% TV rating last Wednesday, November 14, topping usual primetime leader Princess and I.

Aryana Beats Pilot Episode of Paroa: Ang Kwento ni Mariposa in National TV Ratings

ABS-CBN’s top-rating Primetime Bida series “Aryana” remains to be the no.1 fantaserye in the country as it recently won in the ratings game over GMA’s newly launched fantasy program.

Based on the data from Kantar Media last Monday (November 5), the series topbilled by Kapamilya tween mermaid Ella Cruz garnered 27.8% national TV ratings, or almost 13 points higher than the pilot episode of its new rival in GMA “Paroa: Ang Kuwento ni Mariposa” which only got 15.5%.

According to Ella, there is no problem with having a new rival program because she is not competing with anyone. “I just always strive to do my best at work. I think it’s better to be focused on improving my craft instead of competing with others,” said Ella.

Meanwhile, the Kapamilya primetime princess believes that despite its new competition, TV viewers will still continue to support “Aryana” because of the upcoming heart-pounding scenes in the series. “I believe they’ll keep on following our story with the exciting challenges that Aryana will face in the coming weeks, especially now that her daddy Victor (Tonton Gutierrez) already accepted her as his daughter,” Ella shared.

With Victor’s acceptance and a budding friendship with her sister Megan (Michelle Vito), will Aryana’s life be filled with happiness?

ABS-CBN’s top-rating Primetime Bida fantaserye “Aryana” continues to capture the hearts of more TV viewers as it recently reached its all-time high national TV rating. 

Based on the data of Kantar Media last Thursday (October 25), “Aryana” clinched its highest national TV rating of 30.5%, or 12 points higher than its newest rival program in GMA “Moon Embracing The Sun” which only got 18.5%.

Kapamilya tween mermaid Ella Cruz has revealed that she is extremely flattered with the undying support of TV viewers in her top-rating Primetime Bida fantaserye “Aryana” as the show recently reached it all-time high national TV rating.

Based on the latest data of Kantar Media last Wednesday (October 3), “Aryana” clinched its highest national TV rating of 27.3% since it aired last May 2012. Its newest rival program in GMA “Moon Embracing The Sun” only registered 18.1% national TV rating.

Meanwhile, Ella also shared how overwhelmed she is with the clamor of fans that her love team with “Aryana” co-star Francis Magundayao is going to follow the sensational success of the Kathryn Bernardo-Daniel Padilla tandem.

“It is good to hear that there is no competition happening,” said Ella. “It feels great when they say that we are going to be the next ‘KathNiel’ because their tandem is one of the best and popular love teams today.”

Ella Cruz Enjoys First 'Date' with Francis Magundayao

Primetime TV’s tween mermaid Ella Cruz reveals that she enjoyed the recently held Star Magic Ball 2012, where she was joined by her “Aryana” co-star Francis Magundayao.

“My first Star Magic Ball experience was really fun,” Ella said. “Francis and I became a lot closer with each other because of that date.”

When asked if her two other leading men Paul Salas and Dom Roque were jealous of Francis, Ella said that it was okay with them. “Dom and Paul understood my decision. Francis was my partner in the cotillion that is why I chose him to be my date in the ball,” Ella shared.

While a lot of fans are linking Ella to her three leading men, the Kapamilya primetime princess clarified that having a boyfriend is not yet on her mind. According to her, “My parents advised me that I should not rush into being in a relationship since I still have a lot of dreams to achieve.”

“The right time will come for those kinds of things. For now, I just want to focus on my studies and career, and not on love,” she said. “It’s something I want to share with young people like me that we should always prioritize our studies and reach for our dreams first before love.”

Francis Magundayao is Adrian in Aryana

After winning the hearts of TV viewers in his portrayal as the young Piolo Pascual in the drama series “Dahil sa Pag-ibig,” former child actor Francis Magundayao is now all set to make a big splash in ABS-CBN’s Primetime Bida as he joins the cast of top-rating fantaserye “Aryana” as the new love team partner of Kapamilya tween mermaid Ella Cruz.

Ever since Francis and Ella were paired in “Dahil sa Pag-ibig” as the young Piolo and young Cristine Reyes, TV viewers have already noticed the remarkable onscreen chemistry between the two young stars. Kantar Media (August 20-21) TV Ratings: ABS-CBN Shows Dominate on Holidays

ABS-CBN shows are the most-watched program during the two-day national holidays (August 20 and 21, 2012) according to the nationwide survey of Kantar Media/TNS.

Be Careful With My Heart hit all-time high 26.4% rating last Tuesday, August 21. It's Showtime also gave justice to a winning Prime-Tanghali with only 0.1% deficit from Eat Bulaga's  15.3%. Kapamilya Gold programs also registered high ratings especially Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo and PHR Pintada.

Meanwhile, the exciting scenes in Princess and I and Walang Hanggan glued the whole nation to their seats translating into near 40% TV ratings for both top-rated shows. Aryana also regained its 25% rating.

Ella Cruz Excited to Work with Francis Magundayao Anew in 'Aryana'

Aryana lead star Ella Cruz said she is very excited to work again with his Dahil Sa Pag-ibig love team partner Francis Magundayao now that the latter will also be joining the hit primetime series (read story here).

Ella Cruz, in an interview with ABS-CBN PR shared how excited both of them were upon learning that she Kiko (Francis' nickname) will be reunited in Aryana.

"Na-excite po ako agad dahil marami pong nag-rerequest na sana ipasok po si Francis sa “Aryana” kasi nabitin daw po sila sa tambalan namin sa “Dahil Sa Pag-Ibig.” Sobrang kinikilig daw po kasi sila sa tambalang ‘FrancElla.’ Si Francis po, na-excite rin. Nakita ko rin po na naging masaya siya sa first day taping nya sa “Aryana” at talagang masasabi ko po na ang galing niya.

As to what role Francis Magundayao will be playing in the fantasy series, Ella kept that as a surprise, saying that fans should just watch the show to find out who among her three love team -- Paul Salas, Dom Roque and now Francis Magundayao -- will be closest to Aryana's heart.

When asked on why her team up with Francis Magundayao was a hit in Dahil Sa Pag-ibig and why more fans are craving for the two of them together, Ella cited Kiko's looks and talent.

Siguro po dahil isa siyang magaling na aktor sa edad niya, lalo na po sa pagpapaiyak at pagpapakilig. Isa pa po siguro na dahilan ‘yung looks niya. Sobrang lakas po kasi ng dating ni Francis at marami po agad ang nagkaka-crush sa kanya.

In real life, who among her three leading men is closest?

Malapit naman po ako sa kanilang tatlo. Si Dom (Roque), lagi po siyang nagbibigay ng advice sa akin. Si Paul (Salas) at Francis naman po laging nakikipagkulitan at lagi rin naman po silang nandyan para sa akin. Para ko na rin po silang mga kabarkada kasi madalas po kaming magkakasama lahat sa taping.

Francis Magundayao Joins Aryana Cast

Teen actor Francis Magundayao who shot to fame after portraying the role of young Alfred (Piolo Pascual) in Dahil Sa Pag-ibig opposite Ella Cruz is said to be joining the cast of hit early primetime fantaserye Aryana, where Ella is the lead star.

Francis was last seen on a Kapamilya drama last March with his very first MMK episode with John Manalo. He also appeared on ASAP last August 12 for Ella Cruz's sweet 16 birthday celebration.

On Monday, Aryana director Erick Salud shared a photo on Instagram showing a new character that will be joining the series. Direk Erick hinted that this new character will be having a pivotal role in our teen mermaid's life.

The guy in the photo is none other than Francis Magundayao, easily identified by that stroke of thick eyelashes. The management might have seen the potential of Francis-Ella (FrancElla) team up that's why they are bringing Francis in.

Francis Magundayao will be a surprise addition in the cast, considering that Ella Cruz has already two leading men, Paul Salas and Dominic Roque. However, his role is not known yet but surely, it will have a connection on Aryana's character.

Are you excited to see Francis Magundayao on Aryana. FrancElla fever will be back with the latest addition of this talented guy in the series.

Ella Cruz Sacrifices 'Sweet 16' Party to Help Flood Victims

Aryana lead star Ella Cruz recently called off her grand ‘Sweet 16′ celebration to help the victims of the widespread flood that hit the Philippines.

“We originally planned to have a big party for my 16th birthday. But because of what happened to our Kapamilyas, I thought that it would be better to help and share my blessings to the flood victims,” Ella shared. “Instead of spending money for my party, I’ve decided to donate it and buy relief goods so at least I could make a lot of people happy for my birthday.”

When asked about her birthday wish, Ella said that she has already received a lot of blessings in her life. “ABS-CBN has already granted my wish and has even given me the things that I was not asking for. I am very thankful to the Kapamilya Network because they made all my dreams come true,” she said.

In fact, according to Ella, she has already received a special birthday gift earlier this month as ABS-CBN confirmed the extension of her top-rating fantaserye “Aryana” until January 2013.

“I’m overwhelmed because I never expected that ‘Aryana’ will be extended and that TV viewers will love our show this much. I’m very thankful for all the fans who have been supporting the magical ‘tail’ of Aryana,” said Ella.

Meanwhile, like Ella’s busy showbiz career, “Aryana’s” plot intensifies even more as Neptuna (Desiree del Valle) becomes closer in capturing the tween mermaid. How will Aryana’s life change when she ends up in the hands of Neptuna? Will she be able to escape and return to her family? Aryana is Extended Until January Next Year!

ABS-CBN's early primetime fantaserye Aryana starring Ella Cruz is extended until January 2013, the lead star confirmed on The Buzz.

Due to insistent public demand and the support that the show is getting, the management has decided to extend the said series which continue to soar high in TV ratings.

Ella Cruz is very happy that Aryana is constantly receiving positive responses from the viewers since it premiered last May. The addition of new characters such as that of Hubert Francisco (played by Dom Roque) even make televiewers glued to their seats weeknights.

Aside from Ella Cruz and Dom Roque, Aryana also stars Paul Salas, Pokwang, Desiree del Valle, G Toengi, Tonton Guttierrez, Tetchie Agbayani, Neil Coleta, David Chua, Bianca Manalo, Michelle Vito, Lotlot de Leon, Chokoleit, Boom Labrusca, Marvin Yap, Rustica Carpio and Laurice Guillen.

Ella Cruz Wanted a Movie with Gov. Vilma Santos

Primetime TV princess Ella Cruz reveals that she was mesmerized when she first met “The Healing” lead star and Star for All Seasons Vilma Santos.

“I was really amazed when I saw her in ‘ASAP” recently,” Ella shared. “It was really overwhelming when I was introduced to her as Aryana because she said that she watches our fantaserye. It is really a huge honor that Ms. Vilma, who is also known as the mermaid ‘Dyesebel,’ follow our story.”

As a fan of Ate Vi, Ella revealed that she wants to follow the footsteps of the Star for All Seasons. “She is a very good role model for young artists like me because she managed to remain grounded even after so many years,” she said.

The tween mermaid also shared that if she will be given the opportunity, she wishes to work with Vilma in a drama movie. “If ever I will have the chance, I want to do a movie with her that deals with a mother-daughter relationship, or any kind that is family-oriented.”
