Filipinos definitely want their daily dose of ‘vitamin bee’ brought to them by “The Singing Bee,” as the hit musical game show has consistently ruled its timeslot and beat its rival program in the ratings game since it started airing on weekday mornings.

Viewers nationwide warmly welcomed “The Singing Bee” as the show hit an average national TV rating  of 14.8% in its pilot week (Feb 24 to 28), or nine points higher than GMA’s “Tunay Na Buhay” with only 5.6%, based on data from Kantar Media. It also debuted strongly last February 24, recording a national TV rating of 15.8%, or almost triple that of “Tunay Na Buhay’s” 5.7%.

The country’s new morning habit continues this week with Kapamilya stars Jason Abalos, Ejay Falcon, Empress Schuck, and Liza Soberano trying out their luck on the show this Monday (Mar 10).

News personalities Anthony Taberna, Doris Bigornia, Winnie Cordero, and Bernadette Sembrano will take a break from reporting hard news and will set off the fun on Tuesday (Mar 11).

They will be followed by favorite teen stars Jane Oineza, Khalil Ramos, Francis Magundayao, and Ella Cruz on Wednesday (Mar 12), while Beauty Gonzales, Cai Cortez, Joross Gamboa, and Edgar Allan Guzman join the fun on Thursday (Mar 13).

Got to Believe Chapter 2 Trailer: Joaquin Has Amnesia; Chichay is Heartbroken

ABS-CBN's Got to Believe is getting more and more exciting as the show enters its second chapter. This time, Joaquin (Daniel Padilla) and Chichay (Kathryn Bernardo) will find their way in another country. However, a new twist will have them fall apart after Joaquin's surgery to remove the stray bullet in his head.

Chichay, who was also in Singapore saw Joaquin in a park, looking his best with an orchid bouquet in his hand. Chichay called out to him. However, Joaquin seemed to not remember Chichay anymore. What's more heartbreaking is that Joaquin has a newfound love (Liza Soberano).

Ella Cruz Hangs Out with LUV U Boys this Sunday (June 9)

The boys of the “LUV U” gang head out for an event-filled boys-day-out while the girls, Camille (Miles Ocampo), April (Angeli Gonzalez) and Whitney (Kiray Celis) are away. 

JB (Marco Gumabao), Boom (CJ Navato) and Rocky (Igi Boy Flores) decide to troop to Ayala TechnoHub for an exclusive all-boys’ bonding. However, Rocky decides to invite Mariana (Ella Cruz) to hang out with them, without JB or Boom knowing. 

To add to that, Rocky also invites Aly (Lisa Soberano) and Pia (Trina Legazpi) so that Mariana would not feel OP. Why did Rocky invite Mariana? Does he have feelings for her? If he does, how would Mariana react?

Ella Cruz Topbills 'Kilig' MMK Episode with Diego Loyzaga and Khalil Ramos (June 1)

Reminisce the feeling of falling in love for the first time as Kapamilya teen star Ella Cruz shares the story of a young teenage girl named Dua in “Maalaala Mo Kaya” this Saturday (June 1). 

Despite her parents’ strictness, Dua was not able to stop herself from falling for her sister’s best friend Bruce (Diego Loyzaga). Because of her closeness with him, Dua slowly begins to have less time for her friend Jayson (Khalil Ramos), who secretly has feelings for her. How will Dua deal with the sweetness and the pain of her first love? Can romance really replace friendship? 

Also starring in “MMK” this Saturday are Yayo Aguila, Dominic Ochoa, and Liza Soberano. It is researched by Akeem Jordan Del Rosario, written by Joan Habana and directed by Mae Czarina Cruz.

Enrique Gil Pairs with Liza Soberano in New Teleserye

Kapamilya heartthrob Enrique Gil will be paired with newbie Liza Soberano in an upcoming teleserye. Enrique, who was last seen on the series Princess and I will be third wheel no more when he start taping for the said project next month.

Liza Soberano is one of the 12 new faces of Star Magic Circle 2013. Though the latest of the Star Magic batch of talents, the 15-year old mestiza has already appeared on Kapamilya TV. Last year, Liza (billed as Hope Soberano) became part of the defunct afternoon soap Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo as the younger sister of Jake Cuenca.

Just recently, Liza was introduced in the big screen via the Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla starrer Must Be...Love where she played the third party in the KathNiel tandem. Incidentally, Enrique had a cameo role in the movie and fans had seen a great chemistry between Liza and Quen.

Enrique, in his interview with ABS-CBN narrated how he accidentally made Liza cry during the shoot for his cameo scene in the said movie.

"Nagulat siya kasi hindi niya alam na ako ang maggi-guest sa eksena, paglabas niya, banggaan kami. 'Oy sorry.' Hindi niya ako nakita. Noong aksyon, paglabas niya 'boom.' Tapos 'yung knees niya nag-weaken. Tapos tumakbo, tapos umiyak. 'Oy wag ka umiyak joke lang yon,'" said Enrique who describes Liza as "cute na cute."

According to Enrique, he will be part of two teleseryes this year and one will start shooting this April. The actor is also slated to do another big screen project within the year.

ABS-CBN talent management arm Star Magic has introduced its newest breed of stars. Dubbed as Star Magic Circle 2013, Star Magic's freshest batch of discoveries include new faces, sons and daughters of showbiz royalties and former child wonders.

According to Star Magic, the new crop of Star Magic artists are now ready to prove that they have what it takes to succeed in the world of show business. After undergoing rigorous training and workshops, these new breed of stars will not only impress Kapamilya fanatic with their looks but also with their outstanding talent.

Star Magic Circle 2013 will soon conquer the airwaves, movies and television. Some of the members, however are already familiar since they have already been part of ABS-CBN teleseryes and movies. The new batch of Star Magic artists will be formally launched this March 17 on ASAP 18.

Full Trailer: Must Be Love Starring Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla

Star Cinema has released the full trailer of Must Be Love, Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla's first ever solo movie. Formerly Love Me Maybe, kilig big screen team up of Kathryn and Daniel is one of the most-awaited this year.

Must Be Love follows the story of high school heartthrob Ivan (Daniel Padilla) and the boyish Patchot (Kathryn Bernardo), childhood bestfriends who later will have to conquer their feelings for each other. Shot mostly in the 'Queen City of the South,' Must Be Love opens in cinemas this March 13, 2013.

Aside from KathNiel, the Dado Lumibao movie will also star Liza Soberano, John Estrada, John Lapus, Miguel Morales, Kit Thompson, Ramon Christopher, Janus del Prado, Sharlene San Pedro, Paul Salas, Cacai Bautista and Arlene Muhlach.
