Empress Goes Heavy Drama on MMK (July 27) with Joshua Dionisio and Devon Seron

This Saturday (July 27), “MMK” will present another heavy family drama episode starring Kapamilya actress Empress. She will play the role of Claire, a loving daughter who will feel devastated and betrayed by her own family upon knowing the truth about her real identity.

The said “MMK” episode, which was researched by Agatha Lee Ruadap, written by Arah Jell Badayos, and directed by Dado Lumibao, also stars Assunta De Rossi and Cris Villanueva with Joshua Dionisio and Devon Seron in very special roles.

'Wansapanataym' is PH Number 1 Weekend TV Show

Award-winning Kapamilya child wonder Zaijian Jaranilla has proven the magic of his charm once again as his “Wansapanataym” special recently made it on top of the list of overall top weekend TV programs in the Philippines.

According to the latest data of Kantar Media last Saturday (January 12), Zaijian’s ‘Father and Son na No.1’ episode was the no.1 weekend TV show, garnering 33.6% national TV rating, or more than double the rating earned by its rival program in GMA “Kap’s Amazing Stories” which only got 16.3%.

Meanwhile, Zaijian will continue to win the hearts of viewers in the continuation of his “Wansapanataym” special this Saturday (January 19) as he takes on the role of Lino, a young boy who doesn’t listen to his parents. When a typhoon was reported to hit their area, Lino chooses to play with his friends instead of obeying his father’s instruction to join the preparation for the upcoming tragedy. Will Lino finally realize the importance of obeying and listening to his parents when they mysteriously disappear?

Together with Zaijian in the ‘Kapital Liit’ episode are Sharmaine Suarez, Ricardo Cepeda, Deydey Amansec, Carlos Dala, Arthur Nixon, and Joy de Guzman. It was written by Raymond Diamzon and directed by Jon ‘Sponky’ Villarin.

Kapamilya drama actress Empress will topbill the upcoming episode of “Maalaala Mo Kaya” this Saturday (December 8) as she will play the role of Roanna, a beautiful lady whose greatest ambition is to become a nun. But after her brother’s death, Roanna left her dream of becoming a nun and pursued a different path, which is to become a cop.

Amid her efforts to fulfill her goal, a man from her past, Jason (Joseph Marco), returned in her life to profess his love for her. Princess and I Tops TV Ratings, Mikay's Big Reveal as Yangdon Princess Nearing

With the much anticipated ‘royal revelation’ of Kathryn Bernardo’s character in “Princess and I,” ABS-CBN’s first royal teleserye continues to reign in the Primetime Bida block. 

Based on the data of Kantar Media last Tuesday (September 4), “Princess and I” once again made it on the top spot of the most watched TV shows in the country with its 37.4% national TV ratings, or almost 21 points ahead versus its rival show in GMA, “Luna Blanca” which only got 16.6%. 

Now that Esme (Sharmaine Suarez) is sure that Dinoy (Dominic Ochoa) was the man who found the lost princess of Yangdon, will she finally reveal the truth to King Anand (Albert Martinez)? What are Ashi Behati’s (Gretchen Barretto) wicked plans against Mikay (Kathryn)?

Lesbian and Gay Sibling Portrayed on MMK This April 14

While the issue on third sex remains to be a sensitive topic in the Philippines, “Maalaala Mo Kaya” is going to cater the life story of a gay named Bonsai (Janus del Prado) and his quest for acceptance this Saturday (April 14).

After finally having the guts to admit to his family that he is gay, Bonsai left for Manila to live the life that he had always wanted and forget the pains that his family has given him. As he enjoys the freedom of expressing his sexuality, Bonsai became shocked and terrified with the sight of his youngest sister Lencie (Trina Legaspi) as a lesbian. With the fear of seeing his sister experience what he has been through, how will Bonsai protect Lencie from the discrimination and judgment of their family? Will the siblings ever get the acceptance and approval of their own family?

The “MMK” episode also includes Sharmaine Suarez, Gloria Sevilla, Ismael Clavero, Kyline Alcantara, Jong Cuenco, CJ Navato, Simon Ibarra, and Amante Pulido. It was researched by Alexndra Mae Martin, written by Benson Logronio and directed by Nuel Naval.
