Kantar Media (December 26-28) TV Ratings: It's Showtime Beats Eat Bulaga

ABS-CBN noontime show It's Showtime beat rival Eat Bulaga in nationwide TV ratings on December 26-28, 2012 according to Kantar Media/TNS. Be Careful With My Heart is still the number 1 daytime program followed by Masterchef Pinoy Edition. 

Ina Kapatid Anak and Princess and I are still on a heavy battle for primetime supremacy. Meanwhile, Kapuso program Temptation of Wife is slowly gaining more viewers at the expense of A Beautiful Affair.

ABS-CBN's A Beautiful Affair hit one of its lowest TV rating so far on Friday, December 21. The John Lloyd-Bea starrer tied with Marian Rivera's Temptation of Wife remake at 16.8% based on Kantar Media's nationwide TV ratings.

Meanwhile, Ina Kapatid Anak continues to charm viewers with its exciting plot, the reason it remained the country's number 1 primetime program. Be Careful With My Heart and Masterchef Pinoy Edition are two shows unbeatable on daytime.

Kantar Media (November 19) TV Ratings: Two Wives Beats Cielo De Angelina, Ina Kapatid Anak Tops Primetime

Koreanovela Two Wives knocked out rival Kapuso program Cielo De Angelina starring Bea Binene and Jhake Vargas on Monday, November 19 (13.0% vs 5.4%). Masterchef Pinoy Edition also trounced Nay-1-1 (17.0% vs 4.3%).

Primetime viewing was led by Ina Kapatid Anak  followed by Princess and I. After being beaten by Kim Chiu and Bea Alonzo's shows, Marian Rivera's Temptation of Wife is now winning its timeslot with a new rival, Iza Calzado's Kahit Puso'y Masugatan (13.3% vs 12.1%).

John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo's teleserye A Beautiful Affair pilot week rewind beat Marian Rivera's Temptation of Wife rewind on Sunday, November 4. Both series premiered on the same day and at competing timeslots.  A Beautiful Affair emerged victorious on it's pilot week.

A Beautiful Affair Pilot Beats Temptation of Wife in TV Ratings Nationwide!

Television viewers and netizens nationwide received with open arms the sweeping romantic teleserye A Beautiful Affair topbilled by John Lloyd Cruz, Bea Alonzo, and John Estrada as proven by the success of its pilot episode Monday (Oct 29) night on ABS-CBN.

Based on data from Kantar Media, the newest program on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida garnered a national TV rating of 25.3%, or ten points higher than the pilot episode of rival GMA’s Temptation of Wife, which only got 15.5%.

Netizens on micro-blogging site Twitter also fell in love with the engaging mix of “kilig,” drama, and humor in the said episode of A Beautiful Affair that traced the friendship of Edward (John) and Leon (John Lloyd), the tragic death of Leon’s mother, and the first encounter of Leon and Gen (Bea) in Austria.

Many also noted the teleserye’s brilliant cinematography and movie-like quality, the fast-paced unfolding of past and present events, and the blazing chemistry of the country’s most beautiful love team.

This week, Gen gradually moves on and lets go of his former boyfriend who has fallen in love with someone else, while Leon tries to find his life’s purpose. The two get to know each other better and nurse their own heartbreaks while touring Vienna. Will the mysterious Leon finally open up to Gen?

Rafael Rosell Transfers to GMA-7, Next Kapuso Leading Man of Marian Rivera

Rafael Rosell is set to become a Kapuso to be Marian Rivera's leading man. The hunk actor is reportedly signing a contract with GMA-7 next week.

According to reports, Rafael will be the leading man of Kapuso primetime queen Marian Rivera in the remake of the hit Koreanovela Temptation of Wife which will also star Dennis Trillo and Alessandra De Rossi. He will also had a guest role in Aso ni San Roque prior to this big remake project.

Rafael Rosell, a former Star Magic artist is now under the management of Popoy Caritativo, the manager of Marian Rivera and Dennis Trillo. 

Before deciding to transfer to the Kapuso netwrok, Rafael Rosell was last seen in the ABS-CBN teleserye Dahil Sa Pag-ibig opposite Denise Laurel, her long-time onscreen partner. The series also stars Piolo Pascual, Jericho Rosales, Cristine Reyes, Maricar Reyes and Christopher De Leon.

He also had his starring role in the PHR series Midnight Phantom still with Denise Laurel (now dubbed as the queen of PHR and starring in its latest oferring, Pintada).
