ABS-CBN’s “Maalaala Mo Kaya” ushers the month of hearts with a cute story that will make viewers smile and realize the real ‘face’ of love. Being a super fan of actress Sheryl Cruz, Tirso (to be played by Sam Concepcion) dreamt of nothing but to have a girlfriend as beautiful as her. 

So when his father told him to marry someone who was a far cry from his dream girl Sheryl, he left their house and lived away from his family. Will Tirso still run away when he finally sees a Sheryl Cruz look-a-like? 

Also part of the upcoming “MMK” episode are Ynna Asistio, Malou Crisologo, Noel Colet, CJ Navato, Giselle Sanchez and William Lorenzo. The Nuel C. Naval-directed episode is written by Joan Habana and Arah Jell Badayos, and researched by Michelle Joy Guerrero.

MMK Beats Magpakailanman Pilot Episode (Redux) in TV Ratings

Asia’s longest-running drama anthology “Maalaala Mo Kaya” ruled its timeslot on Saturday (November 17), beating the pilot episode of its returning rival show by almost 15 points.

Based on the latest data from Kantar Media, the “MMK” episode topbilled by Kean Cipriano and Yen Santos garnered 30.6% national TV ratings, while GMA’s “Magpakailanman” only got 15.9%.

Meanwhile, well-acclaimed actress Dina Bonnevie will make TV viewers cry in “Maalaala Mo Kaya” this Saturday (November 24) as she will portray the role of Bebeng, a dedicated wife and mother to her 13 kids, who would always draw strength from her flower shop business in times of trials.

Dina Bonnevie, Mother of 13 Kids in MMK this November 24

Well-acclaimed actress Dina Bonnevie will make TV viewers cry in "Maalaala Mo Kaya" this Saturday (November 24) as she will portray the role of Bebeng, a dedicated wife and mother to her 13 kids, who would always draw strength from her flower shop business in times of trials.

Bebeng and her husband together with their thirteen children enjoyed a happy family life until several tragedies came their way--their eldest son was diagnosed with cancer, their third daughter got pregnant early, their sixth son was epileptic, while her 12th daughter died because of pneumonia. Because of these misfortunes, Bebeng eventually lost her flower shop and almost lost her will to continue living. On the verge of giving up, what will make Bebeng realize that she had to carry on with their life?

Kapamilya leading man Matt Evans portrays the role of Tikboy, a child who, together with his siblings, grew up with an abusive and irresponsible man in the special Father’s Day episode of “Maalaala Mo Kaya” this Saturday (June 16).
