Pinay Maria Mercedes Jessy Mendiola is known for her sexy dance moves, but can she outshine K-pop superstar and 2NE1 member Sandara Park on the dance floor?

2NE1 'Falling in Love' MV and Lyrics (English and Romanized)

Popular K-Pop foursome 2NE1 has released the music video for their new single Falling in Love. The Korean girl group returned with this reggae-influenced track after their 2012 hit I Love You.

Falling in Love is the first single for their upcoming new record. According to their management YG Entertainment, 2NE1 will be releasing a new single every month from July to October, when their new EP (or full-length album) will be out.

Choreographed by rising choreographer Koharu Sugawara, Falling in Love music video features 2NE1 members CL, Minzy, Dara and Bom in summer-ready outifts and dancing outdoors. Watch the Falling in Love MV here (lyrics below).

Sandara Park Now in Manila, to Guest at Big Bang Concert?

Korean pop star and former ABS-CBN talent Sandara Park is now in the country and there are speculations that Dara will be guesting at the Big Bang Alive Concert tonight (October 24) at the Mall of Asia Arena. 

Dara of the popular K-Pop group 2NE1 arrived in Manila Monday night (October 22), hours after the arrival of Korean boy band Big Bang and YG Dancers in the country. Her arrival also made the hashtag #MABUHAYDARA trend on Twitter on Tuesday.

In her official Twitter account on Tuesday, Park posted the photo above with her having fun with a Korean guy at Greenhills in San Juan. "Magandang umaga sa inyong lahat! Ang aga ko nagising! Have a nice day!," Dara tweeted.

There are also reports that Dara hanged out with Big Bang on Tuesday night at Gerry's Grill in Tagaytay.

With the confirmation that Sandara Park is indeed in Manila, fans are now expecting that she will be a surprise guest later at the Big Bang concert. Since 2NE1 and Big Bang are under the same management company, it can happen.

Dara is being shipped to G-Dragon (the team popularly known as DaraGon) whom he had a duet in the song Hello. Dara also  appeared in the music video of I'm Sorry where she was even shown having a kissing scene with Big Bang member T.O.P.

Tagged as one of the most successful Asian acts in the world, the five-man group is expected to sing songs from their newest album “Alive” in the Manila concert. After their Manila concert, Big Bang is expected to fly to Malaysia for their concert on October 27.

Sandara Park Joins Twitter, Gets @krungy21 as Twitter Handle

Sandara Park, now known as Dara of the popular K-POP girl group 2NE1 has recently joined Twitter. Dara created a Twitter account with the handle @krungy21 last September 17 and as of this posting, she had already more than 100, 000 followers.

Sandara's Twitter handle handle is based on the term "krung krung," which was used to describe her unpredictable personality during her stay in Philippine showbiz. It can be recalled that Dara was dubbed as the "Pambanang Krung Krung ng Pilipinas" which she also used to describe herself on twitter after the "2NE1's fresh vocalist" written in Korean.

Sandara Park was an alumna of ABS-CBN's Star Circle Quest together with batch mates Hero Angeles, Roxanne Guinoo, Joross Gamboa and Melissa Ricks. She had quite a number of TV and film projects, after SCQ including Bcuz Of U (2004) and Can This Be Love (2005) with Hero Angeles (2004) and D' Lucky Ones in 2006 with Pokwang, Eugene Domingo and Joseph Bitangcol.

She also had an album bannered by her hit songs In or Out, Walang Sabit and Ang Ganda Ko.

Sandara went back to Korea in 2007 to pursue a showbiz career there and later debuted with three other girls as a member of 2NE1 under YG Entertainment, the management company of K-POP boy group, Big Bang.

On Twitter, Dara had mentioned co-stars Pokwang and Luis Manzano (Crazy For You) and friend from SCQ, Melissa Ricks.

Korean idol, 2NE1's Dara (popularly known to us as Sandara Park) visited her former colleagues at ABS-CBN before her flight to Korea. Dara had a vacation off to the Philippines together with 2ne1 members, Bom, CL and Minzy.
