Billboard Music Awards 2012 Complete List of Winners

The 2012 Billboard Music Awards happened May 20 at the MGM grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. Hosted by Modern family stars Julie Bowen and Ty Burrell, the 2012 Billboard Music Awards handed out a handful of  trophies Sunday night.

British singer Adele was the big winner at the awards night, taking home 12 trophies which include the Top Artist, top Female Artist and Top Pop Artist. Party Rock Anthem duo, LMFAO also did great at the awards, clinching six nods for their anthemic song.

American Idol 2012 Takes on British Theme on May 2, Coldplay to Perform on Results Night!

American Idol 2012 Top 5 is set for a British invasion come May 2 performance show. Your American Idol Season 11 Top 5 - Jessica Sanchez, Joshua Ledet, Phillip Phillips, Skylar Laine and Hollie Cavanagh will return to the IDOL stage to sing for America’s votes on a British music-themed performance show.

On the live results show the following night, May 3, American Idol alumna and Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum artist Carrie Underwood will perform. What's more exciting is that Grammy Award-winning, chart-topping act, the world-famous alternative rock band Coldplay, will also perform on Idol for the results show.

In Coldplay's first time on American Idol stage, the British band will perform 2 songs from their latest album Mylo Xyloto.

With only four performance shows left in the season, American Idol 2012 gets more exciting as finale draws near. Come May 23, another contestant will be crowned as the newest American Idol. Don't miss American Idol on Fox and cable channels (and on Philippine free TV ETC channel 9), Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Also watch out for the American Idol 2012 Live! Tour this summer. Your American Idol Season 11 Top 10 will perform in cities near you starting this July until September. Check out the tour schedule here. Tickets will go on sale this May 11.
