ABS-CBN Clinches 12 of the 15 Top Programs for June 2012

Kantar Media released the list of the Top 15 most-watched programs nationwide (urban + rural Philippines) for the month of June 2012. ABS-CBN dominated the list with 12 programs figuring in the top 15.

“Walang Hanggan” remains to be the most watched program in the country with an average TV rating of 41.8%. The Coco Martin-starrer led the twelve ABS-CBN shows in the top 15 programs.

Royal teleserye “Princess and I” came in second place with a national TV rating of 38.6% followed by the number one weekend program “Maalaala Mo Kaya” on third with 35.9%.

“TV Patrol,” on the other hand, remains to be the leading newscast in the country scoring a national TV rating of 31.8% vs rival “24 Oras” with 17.6%.

Making an entry in the top 15 are “The X Factor Philippines” and “Aryana” on the 8 th  and 10 th  spots respectively. The biggest musical event of the year scored a national TV rating of 24.4% while the story about a tween mermaid hit 22.4%.

Other Kapamilya programs in the top 15 are “Wansapanataym” (33.2%), “Rated K” (26%), “Dahil sa Pag-ibig” (25.3%), “Kapamilya Deal or No Deal” (23.1%), “Goin Bulilit” (22.3%), and “ Sarah G Live” (20.3%).

'Dahil Sa Pag-ibig' Finale Wins National TV Ratings

ABS-CBN’s consistent top-rating drama series “Dahil sa Pag-ibig” topbilled by Piolo Pascual, Jericho Rosales, Cristine Reyes, Maricar Reyes, and Christopher de Leon has successfully glued its avid viewers on their TV sets until its final episode. 

Based on the latest data of Kantar Media last Friday (June 29), the program’s grand finale garnered a national TV rating of 33.9% compared to its rival program on GMA, “One True Love” which only got 12.1%. 

The final episode stirred a lot of tension among fans as the Zaguirres put the life of Leo Valderama (Christopher) on the line after discovering that the governor was the one who murdered Edson’s (Rafael Rosell) father. 

Through Divine intervention, Fr. Alfred (Piolo) rescued his adoptive father despite all of his mistakes. Because of this, Leo realized how much his son loved him and decided to accept the punishment of all the bad things that he has done.

Kantar Media (June 26-28) TV Ratings: Dahil Sa Pag-ibig Surpasses 30% Mark!

Dahil Sa Pag-ibig registered its highest rating to date with a 31.1% on June 27, making it the 3rd most-watched program on TV after Walang Hanggan and Princess and I according to the nationwide data (urban + rural) provided by Kantar Media/TNS.

ABS-CBN Primetime Bida continues to dominate Filipinos' viewing habit starting from Aryana which also garnered a record-high 26% and TV Patrol which reached 35.1% on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Kapamilya Gold is now nearing to claim daytime leadership with Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo  beating Eat Bulaga as the most-watched daytime program for about a week now. Mundo Man Ay Magunaw and Hiyas also consistently register high ratings, beating their rivals.

Jericho Rosales 'Dahil Sa Pag-ibig' Lyrics and Video

Dahil Sa Pag-ibig is now on its last week and we can't help but get excited to the big scenes and revelations on its finale week. 

Starring Piolo Pascual, Jericho Rosales, Maricar Reyes, Cristine Reyes, Denise Laurel, Rafael Rosell and Mr. Christopher De Leon, Dahil Sa Pag-ibig is one of those teleseryes with a unique plot and engaging story. Aside from that, the actors really did a great job portraying their respective roles.

Slater Young Joins Piolo Pascual and Denise Laurel in Tacloban's Fiestavaganza

Slater Young is very excited to visit Tacloban with Piolo Pascual and Denise Laurel for the Fiestavaganza Festival by the Kapamilya Karavan this Saturday (June 23).

According to Slater, this will not be his first time to visit Kapamilya fans outside of Manila and Cebu but he still feels overwhelmed as if it were the first time.

Slater and Nang Dahil Sa Pag-Ibig stars Piolo and Denise will travel with the Kapamilya Karavan to bond and celebrate with Kapamilyas in Tacloban. “We have prepared many surprises for our Kapamilyas,” Slater said.

When asked why he loves out-of-town events like this, he said, “I love the food! They welcome us so warmly and serve us their specialties. But most of all, I love bonding with our supporters.”

“Thank you so much, Kapamilyas! I hope that you will give us your continuous support,” he added.

MMK's Father's Day episode starring Matt Evans is the most watched program last Saturday, June 16 according to ratings data provided by Kantar Media for the period June 16-18, 2012. On Sunday, Rated K remained on top.

Kantar Media (June 10-12) TV Ratings: Pacquiao-Bradley Scores a Knockout

Pacquiao-Bradley fight last June 9 (June 10 in Manila) scored a high TV rating of 34.5% yet not that phenomenal compared to the ratings of previous Pacquiao fights.

NBA Play-offs free TV coverage of ABS-CBN ranked second last Sunday, followed by Vhong Navarro and Angelica Panganiban's Bulong. Sunday nights remain an ABS-CBN story with Rated K, Sarah G Live! and PBB Teen Edition 4 clinching the top 3 spots.

ABS-CBN Primetime Bida is unbeatable during weekdays with the usual rankings - Walang Hanggan, Princess and I, TV Patrol and Dahil Sa Pag-ibig making it to the top 4 most-watched programs. Kapamilya Gold is also improving with Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo stepping up in the game.

Kantar Media (June 5-7) TV Ratings: ABS-CBN Primetime Bida is Nationwide Leader!

ABS-CBN Primetime Bida is unstoppable in conquering the whole nation according to the latest data provided by Kantar Media/TNS for the period of June 5-7, 2012.

Walang Hanggan  is still the most-watched program in the country followed by Princess and I, TV Patrol and Dahil Sa Pag-ibig. Meanwhile, Kapamilya Gold is also inching up in the daytime race. Eat Bulaga still leads during daytime but programs like Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo and Hiyas still manage to beat rivals for some time.
