After his hosting stint on the kiddie talent show, “Promil Pre-school iShine Talent Camp”, Matteo steps into the world of music as the celebrity VJ of MYX for the month of August.

Having taken up two years of Musical Theater in Chicago , this Cebuano hottie is well equipped to deliver the latest and hottest in the music scene. “I’ve always wanted to experience being a VJ. Thanks to MYX for giving me this opportunity,” said Matteo.

This talented young Italian-Filipino isn’t only into acting (watch out for him in the latest PHR offering ISLA opposite Jessy Mendiola), hosting and race car driving, he is also into singing. Star Records released his first single, “Someone Like You” online.

Daniel Padilla is MYX Celebrity VJ for July 2012

One of the hottest stars of today’s generation, Daniel Padilla, will deliver the latest and hottest in the music scene this month. 

Daniel will share the success of his first album, Hinahanap-Hanap Kita that was given a Gold Record Award by Star Records only after ten days of its release. It was reported that for OPM , his album was number one in sales in music stores, Odyssey and Astrovision. 

According to Daniel, he dedicates this album to Kathryn Bernardo, his co-star in the primetime serye, “Princess and I”. Many believe that aside from Daniel’s talent in acting and singing, he also has his grip on hosting.

Xian Lim is MYX Celebrity VJ for the Month of June!

MYX Celebrity VJ for the month of June, Xian Lim, never thought that he would finally get the spot after failing twice from joining MYX’s VJ search years back before joining showbusiness.

He admitted in an interview, “I auditioned in 2009 to be a MYX VJ, but I wasn’t chosen. Now, I can’t believe that I was picked to be this month’s Celebrity VJ.”

When asked about his experience in Myx, he said that it’s really a cool and fun experience. “I always wanted to be a host, so there’s no doubt that I enjoyed being a VJ.”

Xian showed exceptional talent in hosting when he hosted the Bb. Pilipinas pageant with Iza Calzado, Venus Raj and Georgina Wilson.

Not only that, the success of Xian’s newly released album, “So It’s You” under Star Records gave him another reason to rejoice. His debut album has been in the number one spot for three consecutive weeks. “I’m so happy that many are supporting my album, I wrote the music and lyrics myself.”

According to Xian, the transition from acting to singing is difficult especially if people have always known you to be an actor, but he feels very grateful that his fans continue to support his singing career.

“The next big thing that I will get into is dancing. That’s the next project,” Xian said laughing.
