Xian Lim is MYX Celebrity VJ for the Month of June!

MYX Celebrity VJ for the month of June, Xian Lim, never thought that he would finally get the spot after failing twice from joining MYX’s VJ search years back before joining showbusiness.

He admitted in an interview, “I auditioned in 2009 to be a MYX VJ, but I wasn’t chosen. Now, I can’t believe that I was picked to be this month’s Celebrity VJ.”

When asked about his experience in Myx, he said that it’s really a cool and fun experience. “I always wanted to be a host, so there’s no doubt that I enjoyed being a VJ.”

Xian showed exceptional talent in hosting when he hosted the Bb. Pilipinas pageant with Iza Calzado, Venus Raj and Georgina Wilson.

Not only that, the success of Xian’s newly released album, “So It’s You” under Star Records gave him another reason to rejoice. His debut album has been in the number one spot for three consecutive weeks. “I’m so happy that many are supporting my album, I wrote the music and lyrics myself.”

According to Xian, the transition from acting to singing is difficult especially if people have always known you to be an actor, but he feels very grateful that his fans continue to support his singing career.

“The next big thing that I will get into is dancing. That’s the next project,” Xian said laughing.

Xian Lim's 'So It's You' Album is Best-Selling Album for 2 Weeks Now

Actor-model-recording artist Xian Lim's debut album, So It's You topped Astrovision/Astroplus' list of Best-Selling albums for 2 weeks now. Xian's album had been consistent no. 1 both in the OPM category and Over-all (OPM and foreign combined) since its release.

Under Star Records, “So It’s You” features five tracks including its carrier single “Puso Kong Hibang,” which is Xian Lim’s original composition. Completing the tracklist are the other “My Binondo Girl” theme song “Ako’y Sa’yo Lamang,” and Xian Lim’s revivals of OPM hit songs “So It’s You,” “Reaching Out” and “Oh Babe.”

Xian Lim to Launch Album 'So It's You' this May 6

Actor Xian Lim is launching his debut album So It’s You this Sunday, May 7.

After winning the hearts of primetime TV viewers in the drama series "My Binondo Girl" topbilled by Kim Chiu, Lim now enters the music arena with his first CD released by Star Records.

“Having your own album is every musician’s dream so I was very happy when I found out that I am going to do one. It is what I really wanted,” Xian said.

Lim's album features five tracks including "Ako’y Sa’yo Lamang," "So It's You," “Reaching Out,” “Oh Babe" and "Puso Kong Hibang."

In his official Twitter account, Xian invited his fans to his mall show on Sunday, May 6, for the album launch.

"So It's You album launch at Glorietta mall this Sunday, May 6! See you there 4 p.m.," he said.

Xian Lim's album is now available online and can be downloaded on www.starrecords.com.ph, www.musicstore.ph. It will also be sold through iTunes and Amazon.com starting May 10.

From being one of the country’s hottest actors, Xian Lim is marking another milestone in his showbiz career as he is now a certified recording artist with his debut album titled “So It’s You” released by Star Records.

After winning the hearts of primetime TV viewers in the drama series “My Binondo Girl” topbilled by Kim Chiu; enchanting ladies with his magazine covers and TV commercials; and proving his hosting skills in the recently held Bb. Pilipinas, Xian Lim is now ready to prove his talent in singing.

Video: Xian Lim Debut Album 'So It's You' Teaser

Hunk actor Xian Lim's debut album is all set for a release this May 3. The said album entitled So It's You had also the song So It's You as the carrier single.

The song So It's You is originally done by Raymond Lauchengco and had been covered by Christian Bautista as a theme song of the movie Dream Boy topbilled by Piolo Pascual and Bea Alonzo.

Xian Lim's version was also that good and Xian's soothing voice was just right for this mellow song. This is much better than Xian's cover of Walking on Sunshine which is used in his McFloat commercial and now playing on radio stations.

Xian's debut album will be released under Star Records.
