Missing You Intense Finale Airs this Friday (July 5)

Julius’ and Joy’s love for each other will be put to its final test as death threatens to set them apart once more in the must-see finale of “Missing You” this Friday (July 5).

Harry abducts Joy in the same warehouse where she was sexually abused years back. He will beg Joy to start anew with him, but Julius will come to her rescue. When Joy refuses to say yes to Harry, he will be left with no choice but to point a gun straight at Joy’s head and threaten to kill her. Is this is end of Joy? 

Will Julius wait for a long time again so he can be reunited with Joy in the afterlife?

Missing You Pilot Episode Wins TV Ratings, Trends on Twitter

ABS-CBN’s newest primetime Korean drama “Missing You” debuted strongly on its premiere telecast last Monday (Apr 22) with a national TV rating of 14.4%  beating GMA 7’s “The Greatest Love” with 9.4%, based on data from Kantar Media. 

The Koreanovela, topbilled by two of Asia’s most popular artists Park Yoo-Chun and Yoon Eun-Hye, successfully sustained the high rating delivered by the recently concluded soap “Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw” in its late primetime slot. It was also among the top trending topics in the country in popular micro-blogging site Twitter. 

“Missing You” is compelling story about a man longing to be reunited with his one true love and his undying faith that one day, she will return to him. Julius Han (Yoochun) and Joy Lee (Eun-Hye) are young lovers separated by a tragedy and will meet 14 years later, still haunted by the ghosts of the past.  Julius would become a homicide detective while Joy, returns to Korea as an accomplished fashion designer named Zoe. 

As the two cross paths once more, feelings in the past will be awakened. Julius can feel it in his heart that Zoe is the woman he loved way back, but Joy intentionally keeps the truth from him to seek revenge.

'Missing You' Premieres April 22 on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida

ABS-CBN will finally air one of the most anticipated Korean drama Missing You (aka I Miss You) starring Park Yoo-chun (Rooftop Prince, Sungkyunkwan Scandal) and Yoon Eun-hye (Princess Hours, Coffee Prince).

Missing You is the story of high school sweethearts Julius Han and Joy Lee who were separated in a horrifying tragedy that continues to weigh down on them as adults. Now a guilt-ridden detective, Julius has been desperately searching for Joy for years, but when he crosses paths with her again, she has already become someone else with her new identity as Zoe.

Missing You ran from November 2012 to January 2013 in Korea's MBC and is slated for airing in the Philippines via ABS-CBN on April 22 replacing Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw.

Korean Heartthrob Park Yoochun Returns as Prince Lee Gak in 'Rooftop Prince'

After making you fall in love as Lee Sun Joon in “Secret Love: Sungkyunkwan Scandal,” Korean heartthrob Park Yoochun returns this 2013 as the handsome 17th century Prince Lee Gak who travels to the future to solve a royal crime in ABS-CBN’s newest afternoon Asianovela offering, “Rooftop Prince,” premiering this Monday (January 7).

Rooftop Prince Premieres January 7, ABS-CBN Full Trailer Released

Korea's most-loved series of 2012, Rooftop Prince will premiere this January 7 on ABS-CBN Kapamilya Gold. The said fantasy romantic comedy television drama stars Park Yuchun (Secret Love Sungkyunkwan Scandal), Han Ji-min, Jeong Yu-mi, Lee Tae-sung, Lee Min-ho (not the star of City Hunter), Jung Suk-won and Choi Woo-shik.

Originally aired this year in Korea's SBS channel from March 14 to May 24, Rooftop Prince (also known as Attic Prince) will be the first Asianovela offering of the Kapamilya network in 2013.

Rooftop Prince synopsis (from Drama Wiki)

When Crown Prince Lee Gak is transported 300 years into the future to present day Seoul along with his three retainers, they believe that it is their duty to solve the murder case of the Crown Princess in order to return to Joseon. They land in the rooftop apartment of Park Ha, a cheerful woman in her mid-20s, who eventually believes the odd quartet's predicament and becomes their guardian. As Park Ha educates the four on life in the 21st century, Lee Gak comes across Hong Se Na, who seems to be the reincarnation of his wife. Taking on the identity of Yong Tae Yong, Lee Gak slowly begins to unravel the murder of Yong Tae Yong and in turn moves closer to solving the murder case of the Crown Princess. As he finds himself in love with Park Ha, he figures that maybe the Crown Princess was not so perfect after all.

ABS-CBN has started airing 2010's hit Sungkyunkwan Scandal in the Philippines with the title Secret Love: Sungkyunkwan Scandal. The first ever period Korean drama aired by ABS-CBN stars Park Min Young (Kim Yoon-hee/Kim Yoon-Shik), Park Yoo Chun (Lee Sun-joon), Song Joong-Ki (Goo Yong-ha) and Yoo Ah In (Moon Jae-shin).

The theme song of Sungkunkwan Scandal entitled Chajatda (Found You) was performed by JYJ consisting of former TVXQ members Jaejoong, Junsu and Yoochun, who starred in the said drama.

Secret Love: Sungkyunkwan Scandal this October 29 on Kapamilya Gold (Full Trailer)

Beginning this Monday (October 29), a scandalous romantic comedy is coming your way as ABS-CBN finally airs the most-watched Korean drama of 2010, “Secret Love: Sungkyunkwan Scandal” in its Kapamilya Gold afternoon block.

The hit series is topbilled by Korean sweetheart popularly known to many Filipinos as Kim Na Na of “City Hunter,” Park Min Young, and Korea’s hottest and most sought-after actor today, Park Yoo Chun.

Kapamilya actor Rap Fernandez also tries out dubbing for the first time as he is the voice behind the character of Goo Yong Ha.

Set in a period where society does not allow females to be educated nor employed, Kim Yoon-hee (Min-young) disguises herself as her brother, Kim Yoon-shik, in order to alleviate her family from poverty. She goes through a series of odd jobs before she takes on the illegal act of becoming a substitute test-taker for the upcoming entrance examination in the prestigious Sungkyunkwan University.

Unfortunately, she got caught by the smart and upright Lee Sun-joon (Yoo chun) who was also an aspiring student of Sungkyunkwan. But instead of taking her to the authorities, Sun-joon acknowledged Yoon-hee’s talents and encouraged her to enroll in the university.

To avoid being used by her family to pay their tremendous amount of debts, Yoon-hee agreed to what Sun-joon said and took the exam at the prestigious school still assuming the identity of his brother Yoon-shiShe passed the exams and this is where the fun, laughter, romance, and scandal begin. Inside the premises of Sungkyunkwan, Yoon-hee becomes one of the four heartthrobs of the school. She will also challenge her strength and determination as he bears with the endless mischief of upperclassman Gu Yong-ha; put up with the constant mood swings of her roommate, Moon Jae-shin; avoid getting in trouble with the strict, student council president, Ha I-soo, and above all maintain or even stop her growing affections for Su-joon.
