Vice Ganda Reacts on Yael Yuzon: 'Akala ko, ok kami' (Video)

Comedian Vice Ganda shared why he got offended with It's Showtime co-host Karylle on Aquino and Abunda Tonight Thursday night. Aside from Karylle's absence from his victory party, Vice Ganda also revealed that he felt bad with what Karylle's fiance Yael Yuzon allegedly said (read more here).

According to Vice, Karylle told Direk Bobet Vidanes that Yael did not like the idea of his girlfriend being paired with a gay man. This hurt Vice's feelings which led to a more serious rift between him and Karylle.

Why Vice Ganda and Karylle Fall Apart: Vice Ganda Shares Reasons of Rift with Singer

Comedian Vice Ganda admitted that he and It's Showtime co-host Karylle have an ongoing rift. According to Vice Ganda, the gap between him and Karylle started when the singer failed to attend his victory party for Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy. 

Vice Ganda said that he was hurt by Karylle's reasons for not attending the party.

"Ang una niyang sinabing dahilan, 'Hindi naman ako invited.' Tapos sabi niya, 'Wala akong driver.' Iyon ang sumunod niyang dahilan. 'Wala akong ride.' Tapos nung sumunod na dahilan niya, 'Tinatamad kasi ako, e.' Iyon 'yung nasa chat. So ako, na-offend ako, bilang malapit na kaibigan niya," Vice said in an interview Wednesday (watch the video here).

"Sabi ko, 'Kung hindi ko 'to mahal si K, hindi ako ma-o-offend at all.' Kasi hindi naman lahat nakapunta, e. Pero dahil sobrang mahal ko 'to at malapit sa akin, nagtampo ako nang kaunti," he added.

The two, according to Vice Ganda, were in speaking terms when the Vhong Navarro mauling incident came. However, a comment from Karylle's boyfriend Yael Yuzon hurt his feelings further.

"Parang nahi-hurt siya at 'di niya matanggap na sa dinadami na pwedeng i-pair up sa girlfriend niya, bakit bakla pa? Tapos sobra na siyang pissed off na anytime sasabog na at susugod na siya sa studio," Vice narrated.

Vice said that he was offended by that remark and decided not to speak with Karylle nor interact with her in live shows. He also said that his pairing with Karylle is more of help to the latter, so he was saddened by what he heard.

"Kung gano'n pala, sige, iiwas ako, hindi ako titingin sa kanya dahil baka bugbugin pa ako ng dyowa niya. Baka sumugod pa dito. Para wala nang isyu, iiwas nalang ako," he said.

According to Vice Ganda, Karylle has since apologized to him and the singer even sent flowers. 

"Actually pinadalhan niya ako ng flowers kanina. Aminado naman siya, e. Nagpadala na siya ng flowers, nagpadala na siya ng sulat, nag-text siya sa akin. Sabi ko, 'Okay na, pero huwag natin pilitan na mag-swet-sweetan tayo, maglandian tayo. Let's just all be real, huwag tayo mameke ng tao.'"

When sked if he will attend Karylle's wedding on March, Vice said: 

"Hindi ko alam kung pupunta ako, kasi unang-una, hindi ko alam kung kailan 'yung kasal. At pangalawa, depende siguro. Kung hindi po ako masyadong okay sa emosyon ko, ayokong makipag-plastikan doon. Pero I wish them well."

Karylle Reveals Wedding Details

After the big announcement last Saturday on the noontime show It's Showtime, singer-actress Karylle revealed some details of her upcoming wedding with Sponge Cola vocalist Yael Yuzon.

Karylle and Yael got engaged last year in time of their third anniversary. The private pamanhikan of Yael Yuzon's family to Karylle's dad, Dr. Modesto Tatlonghari is scheduled February 10.

Meanwhile, in an interview with ABS-CBN News, Karylle revealed their wedding sponsors, which includes her It's Showtime co-host Kim Atienza, Kris Aquino, Sharon Cuneta, Jose Mari Chan, mother Ricky Reyes, maestro Ryan Cayabyab, Gary Valenciano, and Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan, among others.

Karylle's mother, Diving Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla will be singing one of the wedding songs titled Pagmamahal Na Walang Wakas. It can be recalled tha it was Zsa Zsa who revealed to the public the romance between her daughter and the band vocalist.

According to a source of ABS-CBN News, the wedding of Karylle and Yael will happen on Friday, March 21 in a private resort in Tagaytay.

Marian Rivera Reacts on Karylle-Yael Wedding: "Eh, di mabuti."

Kapuso star Marian Rivera and boyfriend Dingdong Dantes reacted on the wedding of Karylle to boyfriend Sponge Cola vocalist Yael Yuzon. Karylle herself confirmed the news Saturday on It's Showtime (read here).

In an interview with Manila Bulletin, Marian and Dingdong said that they were very happy hearing the news about the wedding of Karylle and Yael. The 32-year-old singer-actress will be tying the knot with 30-year-old band vocalist next month.

"Ikakasal na ba siya? Ay, hindi ko alam. Eh, ‘di mabuti. Masaya ako para sa kanya," Marian told the members of the press.

In another interview, Dingdong said, "Talaga? That’s nice. I’m happy for her."

It can be recalled that Dingdong Dantes is the ex-boyfriend of Karylle. The two had been a couple for three years before their much-publicized break up in 2008. 

Karylle transferred to ABS-CBN following the break up, which was more sensationalized with the rumors linking Dingdong to his leading lady then Marian Rivera. There was also one interview wherein Karylle was asked if Marian was pregnant, and the It's Showtime host just answered with a smile.

Dingdong and Marian admitted their relationship later on and is now also rumored to be tying the knot.

Karylle and Yael Yuzon Wedding Set On March 2014

Singer Karylle and boyfriend Yael Yuzon of Pinoy band Sponge Cola will be tying the knot this March. The singer herself confirmed the news of her wedding Saturday on ABS-CBN noontime show It's Showtime, to which she is one of the hosts.

Karylle was very emotional as she read her announcement written in a piece of paper. She thanked her It's Showtime family for being there for her ever since she joined the show. She then revealed that she and Yael will wed soon.

Karylle was given a sort of bridal shower (ala-Despedida de Soltera) in the noontime show where her male co-hosts Billy Crawford, Kim Atienza, Jugs Jugueta, Teddy Corpuz and Jhong Hilario each offered a song for the soon-to-be Mrs. Yael Yuzon (watch the video here).

Before the announcement, Karylle and Yael were both mum and remained evasive when asked about the circulating rumors about their wedding. 

"I think it’s in recognizing that you have great things in your life and you start being thankful and everything flows easily. Wala nang mga blocks. Life is great," Karylle told ABS-CBN News.

"Basically, every day is an ultra blessed... Kasal, eventually. It will get there. Very soon maybe, you’ll never know," Karylle's boyfriend Yael Yuzon said in a follow up.

Karylle and Yael became close in 2010 and eventually became a couple three years ago. It was Karylle's mother Zsa Zsa Padilla who opened to the public the romantic relationship between the two.

If the circulating rumors will serve us right, the wedding of Karylle and Yael will be happening on March 22, 2014.

Yael Yuzon Confronts Dingdong Dantes Over Karylle

Spongecola vocalist Yael Yuzon confronted actor Dingdong Dantes over Karylle. Not the real ones though because it happened on the Kalokalike segment of ABS-CBN noontime show It's Showtime.

Kalokalike Level up Thursday episode saw Raven Portuguez, impersonating Yael Yuzon and Carlos Miguel Joaquin, Dingdong Dantes kalokalike competing not only for the Kalokalike title but also for host Karylle. Dingdong danced with Karylle during his performance and impressed the host by giving her a rose, which earned the ire of Yael kalokalike.

The Dingdong Dantes kalokalike, however, beat Yael kalokalike and won over the judges. He will be joining the finals on June 1. Watch the video below:
