The Carmina Villaroel and Zoren Legaspi wedding happened last November 15 at the Fernbrook Gardens in Alabang, Muntinlupa City. The actress-TV host Carmina Villaroel was surprised by his partner of 12 years, Zoren Legaspi with a grand proposal and solemn civil wedding, a first in Philippine showbiz.

The big surprise which was organized for almost two months by Zoren, with the help of their families, their twins Mavy and Cassy, and ABS-CBN shocked Carmina since all she knew was that they will be having a wedding-themed photoshoot for their endorsement.

The wedding special of Carmina and Zoren dubbed as "Zoren-Carmina: Always Forever, A Wedding Like No Other" was aired on ABS-CBN on November 24 after "Maalaala Mo Kaya." Carmina Villaroel and Zoren Legaspi Wedding Came as A Surprise

Carmina Villaroel and Zoren Legaspi tied the knot on Thursday, November 15 at the Fernbrook Gardens in Alabang, Muntinlupa. After 12 years of living together, the couple finally said their "I Do's" in a civil wedding which came off as a surprise to the bride.

The said wedding was a surprise of Zoren Legaspi to partner Carmina Villaroel, with the bride unaware that she will be attending her own wedding and not a scheduled photo shoot for the brand they're endorsing.

Zoren, with the help of his children with Carmina, Cassie and Maverick, as well colleagues of the actress-host from ABS-CBN, carried out the surprise proposal and wedding ceremony. Zoren first pretended to fight with the crew of the fake shoot before proposing to Carmina under a man-made cherry blossoms tree, the latter's favorite. The guests also did a flash mob led by G-Force to the tune of Rihanna's We Found Love.

The sponsors included business mogul Ben Chan, actress Kris Aquino, senatorial aspirant Grace Poe, and actor-director Eric Quizon.

Celebrity guests included Susan Roces, Maricel Soriano, Mother Lily Monteverde, Gelli de Belen, Aiko Melendez, Candy Pangilinan, Janice de Belen, Joey Marquez, Amy Austria, Tirso Cruz III, and Joel Torre.
