Pokwang a Martyr Wife in MMK (March 1) with Marco Gumabao, Brian Poe Llamanzares

Comedienne Pokwang will make viewers cry in the upcoming family drama episode of ABS-CBN’s “Maalaala Mo Kaya” this Saturday (March 1). She will play the role of Mely, a martyr wife to her philandering husband and a dedicated mother to her beloved children. 

Since Mely does not want her kids to grow up in a broken family, she keeps her husband’s infidelity to herself. How will Mely manage to hide the truth from her children for 15 years?

From their Kapamilya teen comedy series “Luv U,” Nash and Alexa will further capture the hearts of weekend viewers this Saturday (January 4) as they portray the roles of Philip (Nash) and Alice (Alexa), two friends who are the kids of old flames. 

Because of their parents’ bitter past, conflict starts to arise between the two families, especially when they all found out about the curse that Philip’s mother put on Alice’s parents.

Asia’s longest running drama anthology “Maalaala Mo Kaya” celebrates Mother’s Day this Saturday (May 11) as it shares the touching story of a young mom and widow named Minda who will be portrayed by actress Rica Peralejo. 

Because of poverty, Minda decided to leave her children with her in-laws in order to work and save enough money for their future. After many years, Minda finally had the guts to return to her sons and daughters, only to find out that they were maltreated by her late husband’s family. How can she erase the painful experiences that her children went through? Will a mother’s unconditional love be enough to make up for all of her shortcomings in the past years?

Iza Calzado in Incest Relationship with Joem Bascon in MMK this April 13

For the third time, highly acclaimed Kapamilya actress Iza Calzado will showcase her remarkable talent once again as she stars in another heavy drama episode of “Maalaala Mo Kaya” this Saturday (April 13). 

Iza will give life to the character of Rowena, a woman who unexpectedly fell in love with her cousin Alex (Joem Bascon) after being cheated on by her husband. 

Despite the disapproval of their family and the criticisms of their neighbors, Rowena and Alex continued their relationship and formed their own family with their children. However, Rowena and Alex’s lives changed when they noticed something different with the physical appearance of their two daughters. Coco Martin and Jodi Sta. Maria on MMK this September 1

TV viewers will once again witness the highly praised “Maalaala Mo Kaya” episode topbilled by “Walang Hanggan” lead star Coco Martin and “Be Careful With My Heart” heroine Jodi Sta. Maria this Saturday (September 1).

In the story, Coco portrayed the role of Ramon, an underground boxer who grew up as a battered child. At the time when Ramon has decided to change his way of living, unfortunate events forced him to commit crimes which enraged his family.

Dom Roque is Hubert Francisco in Aryana (Photos)

If you are watching ABS-CBN's Aryana, you probably wonder who is the cute guy in Aryana's school that seem to have a role in the life of our teen mermaid. The guy plays the role of Hubert Francisco, someone who will be close to Aryana (Ella Cruz) in her school. He will play a triangle with Ella Cruz (Aryana) and Paul Salas' (Marlon) characters. The cute guy's real name is Dom Roque.

Dominic Karl Roque or Dom Roque studied at the De La Salle College of Saint Benilde and took up Tourism. According to Pokwang, he is the nephew of Beth Tamayo. With a baby face, age does not matter in this 21 year-old heartthrob as he can still play a teenage school boy in the show.

Dominic Roque is not new to showbiz as he did a supporting role in Judy Ann Santos' teleserye Habang May Buhay where he played Mark, the son of Rio Locsin (the nurse aunt of Judy Ann's character).
