Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz Returns as Laida and Miggy in 'It Takes A Man and A Woman'

The country’s well-loved couple Laida Magtalas (Sarah Geronimo) and Miggy Montenegro (John Lloyd Cruz) will finally return on the big screen on March 30 (Saturday) via Star Cinema and Viva Films’ “It Takes A Man And A Woman,” the third installment of the hit romantic comedy movie series that is set to reveal how Laida and Miggy’s four-year relationship headed to splitsville.

From the back-to-back success of “A Very Special Love” that earned P 176 million in the box office and “You Changed My Life” that raked in P209 million in 2009, the biggest love reunion will happen this 2013 as the couple that made everyone smile, laugh and fall in love reunites in “It Takes A Man And A Woman” to share to the whole nation everything that has happened to them in the past years.

Sarah Geronimo, to Judge 'The Voice Philippines; ABS-CBN Cancels Sarah G Live!

Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo will be one of the judges/coaches of The Voice Philippines. The confirmation was accompanied by an official announcement that her Sunday musical variety show Sarah G Live! will be axed soon.

Earlier this week, news about Sarah's show ending soon came out and through its corporate communications head Bong Osorio, ABS-CBN confirmed today (February 6) that Sarah G Live! will have its last episode on February 10, 2013. 

The statement also said that Sarah will be soon joining the reality singing competition The Voice Philippines as one of the judges/coaches  of the Philippine franchise. It was also revealed that Sarah will have her drama anthology soon and will continue filming her movie with John Lloyd Cruz It Takes A Man and A Woman.

“SARAH G Live” ends on top of its game with its last episode airing on Sunday, 10 February 2013. After a year of bringing world-class performances to Filipino viewers here in the country and in TFC markets around the world, Sarah Geronimo moves on to fulfill other commitments. The Popstar, who recently renewed her contract with the Kapamilya network, will sit as one of the judges of “The Voice of the Philippines,” and will soon have her own drama anthology. Sarah is also busy filming her upcoming Star Cinema movie with John Lloyd Cruz, and is set to go on a Sarah G concert worldwide.

Teaser Trailer: 'It Takes A Man and A Woman' starring John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo

Star Cinema has released the teaser trailer for the upcoming movie It Takes A Man and A Woman starring John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo. The movie is the third and final installment of the Miggy-Laida film series which started with A Very Special Love (2008) and followed by You Changed My Life (2009).

It Takes a Man and a Woman sees Miggy (John Lloyd Cruz) in a relationship with a character portrayed by actress-host Isabelle Daza. Laida (Sarah Geronimo), meanwhile, is seen joining Miggy's company anew after some time working overseas. Here, the former couple try to co-exist amicably despite their history and current circumstances.

Directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, It Takes a Man and a Woman will be released in theaters nationwide on March 30.
