ABS-CBN has released the full trailer of It Takes A Man and A Woman starring John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo. The movie is the last installment of the Miggy-Laida trilogy dubbed as the most successful romantic comedy series in Philippine movie history.

The movie features the most-awaited return of Sarah and John Lloyd as Miggy and Laida and perhaps the most kilig from among the three films. Directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, It Takes A Man and A Woman opens in cinemas this March 30, 2013.

Video: 'It Takes A Man and A Woman' Teaser Reveals a Seductress Sarah Geronimo

Sarah Geronimo is slowly undressing in the movie we've all been waiting for, It Takes A Man and A Woman which is the last and third installment of the Miggy-Laida film series with John Lloyd Cruz.

In one of the teasers, Sarah is wearing a fuchsia sleeveless undershirt showing more skin and a bit of a cleavage, trying to seduce Miggy who is now into a relationship with Isabelle (played by Isabelle Daza). It seems that the Popstar princess is now gradually transforming into a more mature image, and sexier at that.

It Takes A Man and A Woman Official Movie Poster Unveiled

Star Cinema has released the official movie poster of It Takes A Man and A Woman starring John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo. The movie is the third installment of the Miggy-Laida trilogy which started with A Very Special Love followed by You Changed My Life.

Isabelle Daza is joining the cast as the third wheel in the Sarah-John Lloyd tandem.

It Takes A Man and A Woman also stars returning cast Rowell Santiago, Irma Adlawan, Al Tantay, Joross Gamboa, Gio Alvarez, Matet de Leon, Miles Ocampo, Andre Garcia, Johnny Revilla, Bing Pimentel and Dante Rivero with the addition of Alchris Galura, Guji Lorenzana and Gee-Ann Abraham.

Directed by box office director Cathy Garcia-Molina, It Takes A Man and A Woman opens in theaters nationwide this Black Saturday (March 30).

Iza Calzado No Longer Part of John Lloyd-Sarah Film

Actress Iza Calzado is out of the John Lloyd Cruz-Sarah Geronimo reunion flick. The actress herself confirmed the news in an event last week.

In an interview with Pep.ph, Iza Calzado cited conflict in schedules as the reason why she's no longer part of the third installment of Sarah and John Lloyd's A Very Special Love series.

“Kasi ang taping nila John Lloyd for A Beautiful Affair ay T-Th (Tuesday-Thursday), ako naman M-W-F (Monday-Wednesday-Friday), so hindi po talaga magsalubong ang aming schedule. Of course, it is their film, the priority is their schedule. Ako naman po ay nakasali dun. I would think na lang na siguro this is not meant to be my comeback film for Star Cinema. Maybe it’s something else,” said Iza who previously became a part of Star Cinema movie, Milan topbilled by Piolo Pascual and Claudine Barretto.

Early reports mentioned Iza's inclusion in the said film to be helmed by Cathy Garcia-Molina. According to Iza, she was very excited to work with Direk Cathy and the tandem of Sarah and John Lloyd since she's a fan of the love team.

“Siyempre nanghihinayang naman ako. Ang pangit naman sabihin na walang panghihinayang. Siyempre I was looking forward to working with John Lloyd, Sarah and everybody else on the set and Direk Cathy. Pero marami talagang proyekto na nand’yan na, nawawala pa. And sometimes it’s really for the best,” she said.

According to some reports, Iza Calzado will be replaced by Kapuso star Isabelle Daza as the third wheel in the Miggy-Laida film series. Isabelle, the daughter of Miss Universe 1969 and actress Gloria Diaz had already meet with Star Cinema executives late September for the said movie (read related article here).

John Lloyd Cruz to Star with Isabelle Daza in New Film

John Lloyd Cruz is reportedly doing a movie with Kapuso actress Isabelle Daza. The said movie will be directed by box office director Cathy Garcia-Molina.

According to a report from The Philippine Star, movie outfit Star Cinema offered the model-turned-actress and daughter of Miss Universe 1969 Gloria Diaz a role in an upcoming movie which will star John Lloyd Cruz. Isabelle will be the third wheel in the love triangle between John Lloyd and his leading lady.

Isabelle Daza and her manager Leo Dominguez had a meeting with Star Cinema on Wednesday to discuss the said offer and reports claimed that there is a high chance that Belle will accept the offer since she had no contract with any film outfit (and who would not want to star opposite John Lloyd Cruz and be directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina?)

If the 'Isabelle-John Lloyd-leading lady' project will push through, it won't be the first time that a GMA-7 talent will star with a Kapamilya actor/actress in a film.

Notable cross network projects include Richard Gutierrez and KC Concepcion's back-to-back starrer, For The First Time (2008) and When I Met U (2009). Dingdong Dantes also did Segunda Mano with Kris Aquino and Angelica Panganiban and now shooting for MMFF 2012 entry One More Try still with Angelica, Angel Locsin and Zanjoe Marudo.

Meanwhile, Angel Locsin is also set to star in a reunion movie with Richard Gutierrez now that she's a Kapamilya. Marian Rivera, on the other hand, will be doing a movie with Walang Hanggan star Coco Martin under Regal Films.

During the photo shoot for this Preview cover, the girls together with their friends did a great video  lip-synching to Carly Rae Jepsen's Call Me Maybe. The video which instantly became a hit on YouTube was the idea of Georgina Wilson. With them are friends Raymond Gutierrez, Carla Humphries, Erwan Heussaff, Borgy Manotoc, Adrien Semblat, Nico Bolzio, Eric Dee, and a special appearance by Congressman Manny Pacquiao.
