Agravante Family Wins Bida Kapamilya 2 Grand Finals; It's Showtime Introduces Bida Kids

For incorporating different talents into an explosive performance that effectively portrayed history, the Agravante family of Sta. Cruz, Laguna took home P1 million and was declared grand champion in the “Bida Kapamilya Round 2: The Finals” of ABS-CBN’s noontime show “It’s Showtime” yesterday (May 11).

Mentored by actress-comedienne Giselle Sanchez, the Agravante family interpreted through singing, dancing, and acting how Filipinos fought for freedom during the Spanish occupation. The family earned the highest average score of 9.8 from the judges, beating other seven families, even though they were only given one day to conceptualize and practice a new routine after being selected winner in the wildcard round last Thursday. 

Host and judge Vice Ganda praised the performance and said, “I really liked what you did because you combined everything we saw in the other families’ performances. You sang, danced, performed stunts, and rapped. You did all of that and you did it well.”

It's Showtime Bida Kapamilya Round 2 Grand Finals Winner is Agravante Family

ABS-CBN's It's Showtime 'Bida Kapamilya' Round 2 Grand Finals happened May 11 and Agravante Family from Sta. Cruz, Laguna was hailed as the grand winner of Bida Kapamilya. Agravante family took home P1 million in cash and the title of 'Bida Kapamilya' Round 2 Grand Champion.

Eight families vied for the title of Bida Kapamilya Round 2 Champion. They are the Mateo family (Floridablanca, Pampanga), Malabanan family (Cabuyao, Laguna), Manalo family (Antipolo, Rizal), Tauyan family (Novaliches, Quezon City), Ayala family (Bicutan, Taguig City), Javier family (Caloocan City), Luntayao family (San Pedro, Laguna), and wildcard winner Agravante family (Sta. Cruz, Laguna).

Agravante Family, as a wildcard contestant won on Thursday and had only one day to prepare for the grand finals. With infotainment as peg, the family focused on telling Philippine history in an entertaining way mixing acting, dancing, singing and rap.

Agravante family was mentored by Giselle Sanchez. The rest of the grand finalists were mentored by different celebrities including Jimmy Bondoc, Michael Flores, Joy Viado, Archie Alemania, Jamie Rivera, Sexbomb Jopay Paguia, and Luke Mijares.

It's Showtime Bida Kapamilya (Celebrity Round) Grand Finals Winner: Isabel Granada and Kapamilya

The It's Showtime Bida Kapamilya Celebrity Round Grand Finals culminated April 13 in a stiff battle between three celebrity familes and in the end it was Isabel Granada and Kapamilya who emerged victorious and claimed the title of Bida Kapamilya Celebrity Round Grand Champion.

Isabel Granada and Kapamilya did a fiery number during the Bida Kapamilya Celebrity Round ultimate grand finals on Saturday, April 13. The group beat siblings Gem and Duncan Ramos and Kapamilya (2nd placer) and AKA Jam and Kapamilya (3rd placer).

From April 8-12, twelve celebrity grand finalists showcased their grand finals performances. Last Monday, the family of Regine Tolentino faced off with girl group Sexbomb, while Isabel Granada’s challenged young star Francis Magundayao’s on Tuesday.

The families of Rodjun Cruz and celebrity siblings Gem and Duncan Ramos preformed on Wednesday while on Thursday, dancer Saicy Aguila’s clan went against popular dance group The Manoeuvres.

A three-way race happened on Friday when Manuel Chua’s family clashed with Viva Hotbabes and wildcard winner AKA Jam. The top 3 finalists were also announced on Friday.

The grand champion of the Bida Kapamilya Celebrity Round took home P1 million, which they will be sharing with their chosen charity, while the second placer and third placer bagged P200,000 and P100,000, respectively.

It's Showtime 'Bida Kapamilya' Grand Finals (Celebrity Edition), Weeklong

Twelve celebrity families and groups are set to impress the ‘madlang people’ in their final talent showdown in the week-long Bida Kapamilya Celebrity Round: The Finals in “It’s Showtime” from April 8 to 13 on ABS-CBN.

The week-long competition serves as a filter for the much tougher face-off that will conclude on Saturday (April 13) in which the best three of the 12 finalists deliver their finest performances.

Last Monday, the family of Regine Tolentino faced off with girl group Sexbomb, while Isabel Granada’s clan will challenge young star Francis Magundayao’s on Tuesday.

Prepping up for their match on Wednesday are the families of Rodjun Cruz and celebrity siblings Gem at Duncan Ramos. On Thursday, dancer Saicy Aguila’s clan will go against popular dance group The Manoeuvres.

It will be a three-way raceon Friday when Manuel Chua’s family clashes with Viva Hotbabes and wildcard winner and “The X Factor Philippines” finalist AKA Jam.

Kantar Media (October 19-21) TV Ratings: It's Showtime Beats Eat Bulaga!

ABS-CBN's noontime show, It's Showtime beat Eat Bulaga for the first time last Saturday, October 20. It's Showtime's Bida Kapamilya Grand Finals earned the show a 16.4% TV rating compared to Eat Bulaga's 15.5%. It is expected that It's Showtime will also have a good fight this week as it celebrates its 3rd anniversary with the battle of the hosts.

Meanwhile, Walang Hanggang Pasasalamat thanksgiving concert beat GMA-7's Protege grand finals nationwide, posting a 4.8% margin. Pinoy Pride XVII (Banal vs Sor Sing Yu) was the daytime winner last Sunday, October 21.

It's Showtime Bida Kapamilya Grand Finals Winner is Gollayan Family

ABS-CBN's It's Showtime 'Bida Kapamilya' Grand Finals happened October 20 and Gollayan Family from Santiago City, Isabela was hailed as the grand winner of Bida Kapamilya. Gollayan family took home P1 million in cash and the title of 'Bida Kapamilya' Grand Champion.

Nine families vied for the title of Bida Kapamilya Champion. They are the Santos family (Malabon), Lucero family (Calamba, Laguna), Rivera family (Binangonan, Rizal), Perez family (Tarlac), Diokno family (Valenzuela), Villalobo family (Tiaong, Quezon), Gollayan family (Santiago City, Isabela), Caindoy family (Quezon City), and wild card winner De Jesus family (Navotas).

Gollayan family did an upbeat performance remix of I Believe I Can Fly, Queen of the Night and Please Don't Stop the Music to the delight of the crowd. They also earned a standing ovation from all of the judges.

Gollayan family was mentored by Robert Seña. The rest of the grand finalists were mentored by different celebrities including Matt Evans, Joy Viado, 6Cyclemind vocalist Tutti Caringal, KitKat, Cacai Bautista, Sexbomb Aira, Jimmy Bondoc, and Princess Ryan.
