Ikaw Lamang OST Album Launch on April 6 at Trinoma

Coco Martin, Jake Cuenca, Julia Montes, and Kim Chiu will treat the viewers of ABS-CBN’s master teleserye “Ikaw Lamang” this Sunday (April 6) as they launch the official soundtrack of their drama series at Trinoma Activity Center at 4PM.

Together with Coco, Jake, Julia and Kim in the special event, are Erik Santos, Angeline Quinto, Jovit Baldivino, and Marion Aunor. Produced by Star Records, “Ikaw Lamang Official Soundtrack” features the theme songs of the series’ well-loved characters Samuel (Coco), Isabelle (Kim), Mona (Julia) and Franco (Jake). 

Included in the track list are “Ikaw Lamang” by Gary Valenciano, “Panaginip” by Erik, “Somewhere” by Angeline, “Sa Aking Pag-iisa” by Juris, “Pangako” by Jovit Baldivino, “Pers Lab” by Marion, and KZ Tandingan’s version of “Somewhere.”

After The Voice PH coaches Sarah Geronimo and Bamboo did Pink's Just Give Me A Reason featuring Nate Ruess, Pinoy Champs Jovit Balidivino and KZ Tandingan also have their own version of the song which they performed on It's Showtime recently.

Sarah and Bamboo's version received high praises from netizens since the videos of their performance was uploaded on YouTube. Meanwhile, KZ and Jovit's take on the song was also another hit among social networks.

Maya and Ser Chief Bring Kilig to First Global Kapamilya Fans Day on TFC.tv this May 4

Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo returned on the ASAP stage for the 18 years anniversary celebration of ABS-CBN's longest-running musical variety show. Sarah led the champions number as the show paid tribute to the best in entertainment.

Sarah sang "Pangarap Na Bituin" with her fellow Champions Erik Santos, Sheryn Regis, Christian Bautista and Jed Madela. She also performed "Isang Lahi" with Yeng Constantino, Bugoy Drilon, Liezel Garcia and Laarni Lozada. The popstar, along with Angeline Quinto, Jovit Baldivino, Marcelito Pomoy and KZ Tandingan also, gave a powerful rendition of "Ngayon At Kailanman."

KZ Tandingan is New ASAP Kapamilya, Joins ASAP Pinoy Champs

The X Factor Philippines Grand Winner KZ Tandingan was launched as the newest member of ASAP Kapamilya today, November 11. 

In her grand ASAP welcome, KZ performed her X Factor hit Superstar. She will now join the ASAP Pinoy Champs Yeng Constantino, Jovit Baldivino, Marcelito Pomoy and Angeline Quinto and will perform with them every Sunday on ASAP.

KZ Tandingan's ASAP welcome party coincided with the launching of The X Factor Philippines All-Star Album and KZ will perform together with the X Factor Final 12 including Gabriel Maturan, Allen Sta. Maria, Jeric Medina, A.K.A JAM, Takeoff, Kedebon Colim, Daddy's Home, among others.

The X Factor Philippines All-Star Album has been a consistent chart-topper in iTunes Philippines since its release. It is now available in record stores nationwide.

Jovit Baldivino 'Tell Me' Official Music Video

Pilipinas Got Talent season 1 Grand Champion Jovit Baldivino has released his third album entitled "OPM's Greatest: Volume 1."

Released under Star Records, Jovit’s third album features a compilation of his heartfelt renditions of ten well-loved Pinoy classics including its carrier single Tell Me, which was originally sung in the 80’s by Joey Albert.

Completing the tracklist of the all-English OPM’s Greatest: Volume 1 album are You Are My Song, Say You’ll Never Go, Forevermore, Make Believe, Only Me and You, Someone’s Always Saying Goodbye, Forever’s Not Enough, My Love Will See You Through, and I’ll Never Go, which is Jovit’s personal favorite. The album was produced by Jonathan Manalo.

The 3rd Tambayan OPM Awards (TOPMA) 2012 was held last June 30 at the SM City North EDSA Skydome  to honor and highlight outstanding Filipino artists and song writers in the local music industry this past year.

Top OPM artists in the country graced the said event together with the DJ's of ABS-CBN FM radio station Tambayan 101.9 in paying tribute to original Pinoy music.

Top OPM Artists Grace Tambayan OPM Awards

Top OPM artists in the country will gather for the 3rd Tambayan OPM Music Awards by ABS-CBN FM radio station Tambayan 101.9 to honor and highlight outstanding Filipino artists and song writers in the local music industry this past year this Saturday (June 30) in SM City North EDSA SkyDome.

Yeng Constantino, Ney Dimaculangan, Ruben Caballero ng Cueshe, Cathy Go, Barbie Almalbis, Angeline Quinto, Marcelito Pomoy, Gloc9, Jovit Baldevino, Kitchie Nadal, Bugoy Drilon, Liezel Garcia, Bryan Termulo, Mike Hanopol, Pepe Smith and Vice Ganda will be performing at the TOPMA Awards.

Real-life couple Maja Salvador and Mateo Guidicelli will also grace the event together with your favorite Tambayan 101.9 DJs.

After weeks of voting, Tambayan 101.9 will unveil eleven winners in eleven distinct categories based on 30% listener’s votes, 30% votes from the select panel of judges, and 40% from the TOPMA awards committee. Each nominee will be adjudged based on the following criteria: commercial appeal, musicality, and originality/creativity.

The next recipient of the Tambayani Award will also be recognized alongside the first ever recipient of the Phenomenal Artist of the Year award. The former is given to an artist and/or song writer who has helped change the OPM industry and has been a true champion of Filipino music while the latter is awarded to the OPM artist who had the most successful career in the previous year.

Tambayan 101.9 is currently on its third year of recognizing Pinoy artistry in music. Recently, TOPMA took home an Anvil award from the prestigious Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP). TOPMA successfully paid tribute to Filipino music artists by honoring original Pinoy music and engaged its listeners and provided an avenue for its DJ’s to interact with them during the awarding event.

This year’s TOPMA is now bigger as Tambayan 101.9 partners with all the 16 M.O.R. FM stations of ABS-CBN Regional Network Group, to promote and encourage listeners to vote for their favorite songs or music artists.

Jovit Baldivino Set To Launch New Album this Year

Pilipinas Got Talent Season 1 grand winner Jovit Baldivino is set to launch a new album this year. He, together with Star Records, is now in the process of song selection for his third music compilation. 

Recently, Jovit was presented with a triple platinum award for his debut album “Faithfully” and platinum award for his second record titled “I Did It For Love.” The first grand winner of ABS-CBN’s nationwide reality talent search “Pilipinas Got Talent” was named ‘Best New Artist’ by Aliw Awards in 2010. Some of Jovit’s hit songs include “Faithfully,” “Too Much Love Will Kill You,” “Ika’y Mahal Pa Rin,” and “Mula Sa Puso.” 

He is currently a mainstay at “ASAP 2012” as part of ASAP Pinoy Champs.
