The official candidates to the Miss World Philippines 2013 have been announced. This year, 26 lovely ladies will be vying for the crown and the honor to represent our country to the Miss World 2013 pageant happening this September in Indonesia.

Some of the candidates were already familiar as they have already joined past pageants such as Bb. Pilipinas. One of the most-hyped candidates is Kapamilya actress-host Megan Young, who up to this moment is considered the one to beat.

Mr. and Miss Chinatown 2013 Winners: Randy See and Rolini Lim Pineda

The Mr. and Miss Chinatown 2013 grand coronation night happened June 30 at the Resorts World Manila Newport performing Arts Theater. Randy See and Rolini Lim Pineda were crowned Mister and Miss Chinatown Philippines 2013, respectively.

Hosted by Enchong Dee, Xian Lim, Alex Gonzaga and Gretchen Ho, the coronation night of Mr. and Miss Chinatown 2013 was also graced by Sir Chief Richard Yap, ABS-CBN executive Cory Vidanes and Miss Universe 2013 1st runner up Janine Tugonon as members of the judges.

Xian Lim, Kim Chiu, Enchong Dee and Gretchen Ho to Host Mr. and Miss Chinatown 2013

Four famous personalities will be bringing pride to two cultures in one night of union, as the first “Mr. and Miss Chinatown Philippines” grand coronation night kicks off on Sunday (June 30) with hosts Xian Lim, Enchong Dee, Gretchen Ho, and Kim Chiu. 

In what is to be a meeting of two cultures but one people, the four will present a total of 32 Filipino-Chinese candidates, split equally between females and males, aged 18 to 25. These contestants will compete for the prestige of being called the Ambassador and Ambassadress of Good Will, representing the Filipino-Chinese community. 

ABS-CBN and the Miss Chinatown Foundation deem this as an event to open doorways towards unified communities and better goals—beginning with a celebration of the shared values of the Filipino and Chinese communities and cultures. 

Watch out for the Grand Coronation which will be held at Newport Theater, Resorts World Manila this June 30, and will air at 10:30 p.m. on Sunday’s Best on ABS-CBN. Miss Philippines Earth 2013 Winners: Angelee Claudett delos Reyes Gets Crown

The Miss Philippines Earth 2013 Pageant happened May 19 at the Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena. Angelee Claudett delos Reyes from Olongapo City was crowned Miss Philippines Earth 2013 and will represent the country in the Miss Earth pageant later this year.

Angelee Claudett delos Reyes, a pageant veteran, beat 46 other lovely ladies from different cities and municipalities in the Philippines to grab the crown on the 13th edition of the pageant which is celebrating the international year of water cooperation.

Binibining Pilipinas 2013 Winners

The grand coronation of Binibining Pilipinas 2013 pageant happened Sunday, April 14 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Dubbed as Binibining Pilipinas Gold, the pageant celebrates 50 beautiful years. 

Miss Universe Philippines 2012 Janine Tugonon, Binibining Pilipinas-International 2012 Nicole Schmitz, and Binibining Pilipinas-Tourism 2012 Katrina Dimaranan crowned their successors at the end of the event. In line with its 50th anniversary, 50 candidates also vied for the most-coveted crowns and the chance to represent the country in the international arena.

Binibining Pilipinas 2013 Official 50 Candidates Named

Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. has revealed the official candidates of Binibining Pilipinas 2013. Celebrating "50 Beautiful Years," 50 lovely ladies from all over the country will also be competing at the Philippines' most  prestigious pageant, Bb. Pilipinas.

The official 50 candidates of Binibining Pilipinas will vie for three crowns: Miss Universe Philippines 2013, Binibining Pilipinas-International 2013, and Binibining Pilipinas-Tourism 2013. The coronation night, which is expected to be grand as the pageant is celebrating its 50 years anniversary, is scheduled on April 14 and will be aired live on ABS-CBN.

Philippines' Rizzini Alexis Gomez Wins Miss Tourism International 2012

The Miss Tourism International 2012 Pageant was held on New Year's Eve, December 31, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Miss Philippines Rizzini Alexis Gomez was crowned Miss Tourism International. 

Rizzini Alexis Gomez, a 22-year-old registered nurse from Cebu bested 54 other lovely candidates from all over the world to capture the title of Miss Tourism International 2012. Rizzini's win put an exclamation point to the Philippines' winning streak this year, perhaps one of the best in the history of pageantry in the country.

Rizzini is the second Filipina to be crowned Miss Tourism International, a Malaysian-based pageant which aims to promote tourism and cultural exchange. The first Filipina to win the said crown is Maria Esperanza Manzano way back in 2000.
