National TV Ratings (December 8): Buzz ng Bayan, Rated K on Losing End; Angeline and Coco Movie Most-Watched

The Philippine free TV premiere of Coco Martin and Angeline Quinto's movie Born to Love You was most-watched nationwide on Sunday, December 8 according to the TV ratings data provided by Kantar Media/TNS.

Meanwhile, revamped showbiz-oriented talk show Buzz ng Bayan is not getting the buzz as it was beaten by rival program, a rare occurrence when the network still had the old The Buzz format. Korina Sanchez's Rated K is also in the losing end.

Kimmy Dora and The Temple of Kiyeme 3rd Week Gross: P116.87 Million

Kimmy Dora and the Temple of Kiyeme had already grossed P116.87 million after 3 weks of showing in theaters according to Box Office Mojo (BOM). Kimmy Dora 2 is the second film to surpass the P100-million mark this year, next to Unofficially Yours.

Meanwhile, debuting film The Amazing Spider-Man grossed a whooping P138.06 million on its first week toppling Kimmy Dora 2 which reigned at the local box office for 2 weeks.

Other Pinoy movies, Boy Pick-Up GMA Films and Born To Love You from Star Cinema earned P25.38 million  and P52 million after 4 and 5 weeks, respectively.

The Avengers, after 10 weeks of showing in the country managed to gross more than P600 million and was hailed as highest-grossing film in the Philippines.

Born to Love You Grosses P52.37 Million in 4 Weeks, Kimmy Dora 2 Tops Local Box Office

Born To Love You starring Coco Martin and Angeline Quinto had grossed P52.37 million after 4 weeks of showing in theaters according to the data provided by Box Office Mojo (BOM) for the period of June 20-24. 

Topping the local box office race for the said period is the Eugene Domingo starrer Kimmy Dora and The Temple of Kiyeme (aka Kimmy Dora 2) which reigned since its premiere with a  2-week total gross of P95.7 million. 

Meanwhile, another Pinoy film, Boy Pick-up: The Movie had grossed P24.99 million after 3 weeks in theaters.

Born To Love You starring Coco Martin and Angeline Quinto had grossed P29.7 million on its first 5 days of showing according to Box Office Mojo (BOM). Born To Love You surpassed the first 5 days gross of  Every Breath U Take with P25.52 million.

Born To Love You debuted at no. 3 in the box office tally, bowing to Snow White and the Huntsman which earned  an estimated P41.7 million for the period May 30-June 3, debuting at the top spot. Meanwhile, The Piolo Pascual-Angelica Panganiban starrer, Every Breath U Take has now grossed an estimated P50.2 million after 3 weeks.
