Galema: Anak ni Zuma to Shock Viewers on March 28 Finale Episode

ABS-CBN’s top-rating afternoon drama series, “Galema: Anak ni Zuma” will give an action-packed and highly emotional finale that will make viewers love Galema (played by Andi Eigemann) even more.

Since it premiered on September 30, 2013, “Galema” has gotten TV viewers hooked on the charming tale of the good-hearted lass Galema, who was born with twin snakes attached to her neck.

Over the past six months, afternoon viewers joined Galema’s bitter-sweet journey–from her sheltered childhood to her battle with her beastly father Zuma (Derick Hubalde), her marriage with Morgan (Matteo Guidicelli), and up to now that her daughter Sophia is missing.

As the Wenn V. Deramas-directed series nears its end, one mysterious amulet will have the power to end all the harm affecting Galema’s family.

What will Galema do when two of her beloved get in the middle of her ultimate war against Zuma? In the end, will Galema realize her dream of giving her loved ones a complete and normal family?

Momzillas Full Trailer | Maricel Soriano and Eugene Domingo Movie Under Star Cinema and Viva Films

Check out the full trailer of Star Cinema and Viva Films' Momzillas starring Diamond star Maricel Soriano and "rough" Diamond star Eugene Domingo. Formerly titled Oh My Mamma Mia, the movie is still part of Star Cinema's 20th anniversary presentation.

The hilarious comedy movie also stars Billy Crawford and Andi Eigenmann together with Candy Pangilinan, DIvina Valencia, Joey Paras and a lot more. Directed by box office director Wenn V. Deramas, Momzillas opens in theaters this September 18.

9th Cinemalaya 2013 Winners - Vilma Santos, Jasmine Curtis, Sana Dati, Transit

The winners of the 9th Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival (Cinemalaya 2013) were revealed Sunday night (August 4) in a ceremony held at the Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo (CCP Main Theater) in Pasay City.

Jerrold Tarog's Sana Dati and Hannah Espia‘s Transit were the big winners of the night, clinching the most awards in the Director's Showcase and New Breed category, respectively including Best Film.

Meanwhile, Star for all Seasons Vilma Santos was hailed Best Actress for her role as a bit player in Ektra directed by Jeffrey Jeturian. Anne Curtis' sister, Jasmine Curtis-Smith bagged the Best Supporting Actress trophy for her performance in Transit.

Julia Barretto Confronts Wicked Aunt in Wansapanataym

Wansapanataym Presents Petrang Paminta starring Julia Barretto, Zaijian Jaranilla and Xyriel Manabat instantly captured the hearts of TV viewers as its first episode ruled its timeslot last Saturday (June 29). 

Based on the data from Kantar Media, the special’s pilot episode garnered 31.6% national TV ratings, compared to the 17.5% episode of its rival program in GMA “Vampire Ang Daddy Ko.” 

In the next episode of the TV remake of Pablo Gomez’ novel this Saturday (July 6), sisters Petra (Julia) and Aya (Xryiel) continues to suffer after their wicked aunt took their pepper farm and all their father’s wealth away from them. Because of her promise to her father that she will always obey her aunt, Petra could not do anything to fight for her and her sister’s rights. 

How will the ‘prince of peppers’ Pampam (Zaijian) help Petra and Aya from the cruelty of their own relatives? Kapamilya child wonders Zaijian Jaranilla and Xyriel Manabat together with one of today’s most promising stars Julia Barretto will share important life values beginning this Saturday (June 29) via “Wansapanataym Presents Petrang Paminta.” 

Based from the novel of Pablo Gomez titled “Petrang Paminta,” “Wansapanataym Presents Petrang Paminta” will be directed by box-office director Wenn V. Deramas. 

The “Wansapantaym” special will feature the story of sisters Petra (Julia) and Aya (Xyriel) who are working in the pepper farm owned by their cruel aunt. A dwarf named Pampam (Zaijian) begins to help the sisters secretly because of pity and his special admiration for Petra. How will the lives of the sisters change because of the magical peppers they cultivate?

Bromance Full Trailer Released; Zanjoe Marudo Plays Twins Brando and Brandy

Star Cinema has released the full uncut trailer of the upcoming comedy movie Bromance: My Brother's Romance starring Cristine Reyes, Zanjoe Marudo and Zanjoe Marudo.

In the film produced by Skylight Films and directed by box office director Wenn V. Deramas, Zanjoe plays the role of twins Brando and Brandy. The two, despite having the same face have different personalities. Brando is a macho guy while Brandy is a flamboyant gay.

With a hilarious supporting cast including Arlene Muhlach, Nikki Valdez, Boom Labrusca, Manuel Chua, Joey Paras, Joy Viado and Lassy Marquez, Bromance: My Brother's Romance will surely make you jump off your seats. Bromance will open in cinemas this May 15.

'Bromance' Starring Zanjoe Marudo and Cristine Reyes Movie Poster Unveiled

Star Cinema has revealed the official movie poster of the upcoming comedy film Bromance: My Brother's Romance starring Zanjoe Marudo and Cristine Reyes.

In Bromance, Zanjoe will play two opposite characters–a straight hunk and an openly gay. Just like Angelica Panganiban in Apoy Sa Dagat, Zanjoe is also billed twice in the movie. Watch the movie's first teaser here featuring Vice Ganda's Karakaraka.
