Video: Julie Anne San Jose Falls on Party Pilipinas Stage, Elmo Magalona on the Rescue

Singer-actress Julie Anne San Jose accidentally fell on stage while dancing in Party Pilipinas Sunday, January 6. 

After Julie Anne's fall, the music stopped and her co-performers and PP staff crowded on her. As seen on Julie Anne's reaction, she was badly hurt (she's even teary eyed and you can feel she's in pain). It was Elmo Magalona who played the hero and rescued Julie Anne from that apparent accident. The gentlemanly gesture of Elmo was applauded by the audience.

Julie Anne San Jose's fall and rise embodied the theme of Party Pilipinas that day which is "Stronger" as she continued performing right after and nailed an emotional duet with Elmo Magalona. The scene just showed how good an actress is Julie Anne as the staff confirmed that it was scripted yet Julie Anne's walk right after the duet and her crying game tell otherwise.

Lauren Young To Transfer to GMA-7, from 'Mula Sa Puso' to 'Kapuso'

Lauren Young is set to become a Kapuso soon, online reports confirmed. Lauren, who is the sister of Megan Young, started her career as a Star Magic talent where she appeared on several ABS-CBN shows. 

A member of the Star Magic Batch 13, Lauren Young played Nelle in the teen-oriented program Abt Ur Luv where she was paired with the late actor AJ Perez. The show introduced Lauren as one of Star Magic's best bet.

She came on playing minor roles on television via Your Song and MMK until she was finally given her biggest break, playing Olivia Pereira in the remake of Mula Sa Puso which eventually became her last major project in the Kapamilya network.

According to Pilipino Star Ngayon, Lauren Young will be managed by Pia Magalona, the mother of her rumored boyfriend Elmo Magalona. GMA Artist center is also set to co-manage Lauren.

With Lauren's transfer to the Kapuso network, many JuliElmo fans were worried of their idols status as a love team, especially now that the two are promoting their very first film together. The management, however , guaranteed that there's no reason to worry about since Lauren will be given her very own love team when she finally transfer to GMA.

Poll: The Reunion vs Just One Summer - Which movie will you watch on August 15?

On August 15, two barkada/teen movies will be hitting the big screen. These are The Reunion under Star Cinema and Just One Summer under GMA Films and APT Entertainment.

Both highly anticipated, The Reunion and Just One Summer are expected to make it big in theaters since both have the hottest young stars of rival networks ABS-CBN and GMA-7 in the cast. The Reunion had the ensemble of Xian Lim, Enrique Gil, Kean Cipriano and Enchong Dee while Just One Summer boasts one hot love team of Julie Ann San Jose and Elmo magalona (JuliElmo).

The movie revolves around a group of young men who are friends since high school. Several years later, they decided to meet once again. They have come to know that each other has a feeling of not moving on with their lives because of a wrong did way back high school. Now, they are in the journey of finding the true meaning of love and happiness as they reunite once again

A rich, rebellious boy spends the summer with his father who he has considered long dead and his mistress while waiting for the annulment of his father and his mother's marriage. During his stay with his father during the summer, he meets a poor girl who is his childhood friend and is a scholar of whom her family is depending on; however, she is holding in a secret with regards to the true state of her scholarship. The two meet and comfort each other amidst their problems and they fall for each other as time goes on and as they get to know each other.

Sam Concepcion and Julie Ann San Jose Duet in 'No Air', Cover Pinoy Mag's March-April 2012 Issue

Kapamilya teen hearthrob Sam Concepcion and Kapuso fast-rising star, Julie Ann San Jose had a duet of the song No Air by Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown. The said duet was released by Pinoy Magazine as a part of Julie Ann and Sam's promotion for their collaborative cover of Pinoy Magazine's March-April 2012 issue.

The said duet video was uploaded by a fan (AmbotSaImo) on YouTube and already had more than 60 000 hits in just a wee'ks time. Julie Ann and Sam sang the chorus of the song No Air while on the said magazine's photoshoot.

From the comments on the said video, it seems that this new tandem is well welcomed by fans, even though the two teen idols came from rival networks. Of course, comparison between SamLie and JuliElmo is always given.

Are you a SamLie or JuliElmo fan? Well, for both tandems we can say that it's the chemistry of the boys with Julie Ann which bring forth success on their part. Julie Ann, Elmo and Sam are good singer/performers and who knows, a collaboration album or even a movie might be in the works for these three teen idols.

Sam Concepcion is set to appear in the cover of Pinoy Magazine March 2012 issue opposite Kapuso rising star, Julie Ann San Jose. This news surfaced after Pinoy Magazine Facebook Fanpage released a photo of Sam and Julie Ann preparing for their upcoming cover shoot.

The term 'SamLieonPinoyMag' trended on microblogging site Twitter after the said posting. It seems that fans are getting fond of this new team up from rival networks. Could this be the end of JuliElmo?
