This Guy's In Love With You Mare Full Trailer Premieres on GGV this Sunday

The most-awaited comedy movie of the year, This Guy's In Love With You Mare will finally hit theaters this October. Starring Vice Ganda, Toni Gonzaga and Luis Manzano, the movie, produced under Star Cinema, will surely be another box office hit.

In This Guy's In Love With You Mare, Vice Ganda will play the role of Toni Gonzaga's suitor and one situation will require Toni and Vice to have a kissing scene, the first onscreen kiss of Vice.

"Lalaki siya sa pelikulang ito kaya nakakatawa, pero lalaking-lalaki siya, convincing ah," Toni told reporters in an interview, who also asked about their kissing scene in the movie.

"Pinakamalalang nagawa ko sa buong buhay ko, na magka-eksena kami ni Vice na hindi ko alam kung paano namin nagawa! First time ko ma-experience 'yung ganung klaseng kissing scene, kakaiba, hindi ko mai-describe. Nakakabaliktad ng sikmura," Toni said, laughing.

Vice and Luis Manzano will also have a bed scene in the movie. In July, the photo of Vice and Luis seen on a bed together spread online. The said 'love scene' photo was also featured on GGV with Luis' mom, Gov. Vilma Santos, as guest.

Also starring IC Mendoza, DJ Durano, Ricci Chan, Lassie Marquez, Ricky Rivero and Gladys Reyes and directed by Wenn Deramas, This Guy's In Love With You Mare  is Vice Ganda's follow up to the 2011 comedy film The Ukabogable Praybeyt Benjamin, hailed as the highest-grossing local film of all time.

This Guy's In Love With You Mare full trailer will have its world premiere this Sunday, September 23 on Gandang Gabi Vice. The said trailer though was already seen by moviegoers who got to watch The Mistress.

Vice Ganda Says No to Teleseryes

Ace comedian Vice Ganda admitted that he can't do a teleserye as of now. Vice told ABS-CBN news during the pictorial of his latest movie that doing a teleserye will consume most of his time.

"Hindi ko kaya ang teleserye. Hindi ko kaya 'yung talagang aktingan sa TV at 'yung mahabang aktingan. At saka mayroon akong noontime (show), hindi ko kakayanin na nagte-taping ako everyday tapos magno-noontime pa ako," he explained.

 Vice also added that if he do a television series, he will have no time to do several things which he enjoyed doing now such as shows abroad and concert tours.

"Kapag gumawa ako ng teleserye malilimitahan ang iba kong pwedeng gawin -- hindi na ako makakapagtour sa ibang bansa at hindi na ako makakapag-concert." 

Currently, Vice has two shows on TV, It's Showtime and the trending capital Gandang Gabi Vice. He is also shooting for This Guy's In Love With You Mare together with Toni Gonzaga and Luis Manzano. 

The said movie which is under the direction of Wenn Deramas will open in theaters this October, the same month of premiere as Vice's previous box office hits, Petrang Kabayo and the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time, The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin.

Vice will also do a movie with Kris Aquino tentatively titled Sisteraka for the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival. Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla will be in the cast.

This Guy's In Love With You Mare Stars Vice Ganda, Toni Gonzaga and Luis Manzano

Star Cinema is cooking for another surefire hit movie starring Vice Ganda, Toni Gonzaga and Luis Manzano titled This Guy's In Love With You Mare.

The movie will be directed by Wenn V. Deramas and is slated for October 2012 release. 

According to Luis Manzano, the movie will be dealing with a complicated love triangle. “Kumbaga sa Facebook, it’s very complicated ang love triangle. Hindi normal ang love triangle talagang magkakasalubong ang landas namin pagdating sa pagmamahalan.”

Vice Ganda had already worked with Luis Manzano in his launching movie Petrang Kabayo but this will be the first time that she will work with Toni Gonzaga for the big screen. Toni and Vice, however had already worked together in the series, Maging Sino Ka Man Book 2 in 2008.

When asked to describe his expectations of This Guy's In Love With You Mare, Vice quickly said: “With all humility ito yung movie na kakabog sa Praybeyt Benjamin. Hahaha!”

“Kasi katulad dati, ‘di ba sabi niyo nakakapressure kasi yung sinundan ng Praybeyt Benjamin yung No Other Woman. Dinedma ko yung pressure. Sabi ko nga kini-claim ko yung victory, pinagdadasal ko, at alam kong merong kalalagyan itong pelikulang ito. Basta ang ine-expect lang namin e magiging masaya yung gagawin naming pelikula. Third movie ko ito with Direk Wenn Deramas.” the comedian added.

Toni, Vice and Luis Caught in a Love Triangle in New Movie

Toni Gonzaga, Vice Ganda and Luis Manzano will join forces for an upcoming movie under Star Cinema. The said movie project will be directed by no less, Direk Wenn Deramas.

In an interview with ABS-CBN news after their story conference Thursday, June 7, Toni, Vice and Luis can't hide their excitement for their upcoming movie which will be released by October this year.

Multimedia star Toni Gonzaga shared how happy she was with this movie knowing the material is good and that she will be working with her friends in showbiz.

"Sobrang saya. Ito siguro ang pinakamasayang pelikulang magagawa ko sa buhay ko kasi imaginine mo si Vice, Luis, Direk Wenn (Deramas). Ang saya. Nai-imagine ko pa lang ang mga shooting days, mga eksena, parang ang saya talaga. Ito ang isa sa proyekto na ilu-look forward mong pumasok at pumunta sa set dahil alam mong maganda ang materyal, alam mong masarap katrabaho ang mga kasama mo at ‘yung direktor napakahusay at pinagkakatiwalaan naming tatlo so masaya,” said Toni.

Meanwhile, Luis Manzano hinted a bit about the movie's plot. He said that there will be a complicated love triangle in store for the viewers. “Kumbaga sa Facebook, it’s very complicated ang love triangle. Vice Ganda is also excited to worked again with Toni whom she last worked with in the book 2 of Maging Sino Ka Man way back in 2008.

“Kahit hindi pa kami nagsisimula mag-shoot masaya na kami agad. Maganda ang vibes. Magaan lang. Excited ako kasi ang tagal ko na ulit gusto makasama si [Toni] ng maya’t maya. Parang bonding na rin,” Vice exclaimed.

Tambayan OPM Awards 2012 Nominees Revealed!

ABS-CBN’s FM station in Mega Manila Tambayan 101.9 has announced the nominees for the 3rd Tambayan OPM Awards or TOPMA led by Angeline Quinto, Kamikazee, Erik Santos, and Vice Ganda as it formally opens the text voting to the public to determine this year’s winners.

This year’s TOPMA is now bigger as Tambayan 101.9 partners with all the sixteen M.O.R. FM stations of ABS-CBN Regional Network Group, to promote and encourage listeners to vote for their favorite songs or music artists.

“Star Power” grand winner Angeline Quinto earned the most nominations in the roster as she was nominated in the Song of the Year, Album of the Year, Female Artist of the Year, OPM Revival, and Best New Artist categories. She is followed by Erik Santos and Vice Ganda garnering three nominations each.

TOPMA is also introducing a new category this year, the Phenomenal Entertainer of the Year category where Yeng Constantino, Vice Ganda, Toni Gonzaga, and Anne Curtis will be competing. Anne, who made waves in the music scene with the success of her album “Annebisyosa” is also nominated for Song of the Year category with her single “Tinamaan Ako.”

Meanwhile, Tambayan 101.9 will once again recognize an artist and/or song writer who has helped change the OPM industry and has been a true champion of Filipino music through the Tambayani award. Angel Locsin Maintains Top Post in FHM 100 Sexiest 2012 Update

Angel Locsin is still leading in the FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World as of FHM's 2nd update, May 11. The award-winning actress maintains being on top of the list, beating last year's sexiest Sam Pinto who is now  in 2nd place.

ASAP 2012” welcomes the merriest month of May this Sunday (May 6) with a grand summer fest filled with astonishing world-class performances by some of the biggest names in showbiz.

Toni Gonzaga Working on a New Album, Excited for Movie Projects

Ultimate multimedia star Toni Gonzaga is now working on her next album under Star Records. Toni had already released five studio albums under Star Records and the singer-host-actress is excited to work with another album this year.

“There are definitely plans for the album, for my sixth studio album under Star Records so sana abangan din ng ating mga kababayan iyon,” Toni told ABS-CBN News after the Guillermo Mendoza 43rd Box Office Entertainment Awards night on Sunday, April 29.

Toni was recognized by Guillermo Foundation as Female Concert Performer of the Year. After this win, Toni said she would love to stage more concerts in the future.

“I pray na sana talagang magsunud-sunod pa siya at marami pa akong magawang concert na maibigay sa mga manonood,” she said.

Aside from PBB and The Buzz hosting, Toni will also be busy with acting projects.  There are plans for a teleserye starring Toni and in the big screen, a project with Angel Locsin, Bea Alonzo and Angelica Panganiban is also on the way.

Gonzaga said she is looking forward to start filming the movie soon because it is such an honor to be working with her co-stars.

“Noong sinabi sa akin iyan, nasa trabaho ako. Sila magkakasama noon sa Star Cinema office kaya nagulat ako and I’m so privileged na nabanggit ang pangalan ko na kasama ako. Siyempre malaking honor iyon na makasama ko ang mag top-caliber actresses ng henerasyon na ito,” she said.

Toni is also set to do a movie with Phenomenal Box Office Star, Vice Ganda.

Angel Locsin to Star in 4 Movies with Star Cinema!

Award-winning actress Angel Locsin is set to do 4 movies with ABS-CBN's film production outfit, Star Cinema. On Friday, April 27, Angel Locsin signed a three-year contract with ABS-CBN and Star Cinema for TV and movie projects.

In her contract signing, Angel can't hide her happiness and excitement with the projects in line for her.

“I’m very happy kasi itong contract ko na ‘to meron akong apat na pelikulang gagawin. Ang ganda nung mga projects, [kaya nagpapasalamat] talaga ako sa ABS-CBN, especially to Star Cinema, kasi binibigyan talaga ako ng mga proyektong dekalibre. Mas nakikilala ka bilang aktres, narerespeto ‘yung craft mo."

Angel will be doing a reunion movie after 5 years with his original love team, Richard Guttierez that will be co-produced by Regal Films. Prior to this, Angel will have her movie with another Kapuso hunk, Dingdong Dantes which will start shooting in May. The said Dong-Angel movie will also star Angelica Panganiban.

“Magsisimula na itong May [ang shooting], kasama si Papa Dingdong at saka si Angelica Panganiban. Ang magdi-direct nu'n ay si Direk Ruel Bayani (No Other Woman), na napakagaling na direktor. I’m very excited na makatrabaho si Direk Ruel,” Angel Locsin said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.

Aside from the two movies with Kapuso stars, Angel is also set for a big screen team up with her Toda Max love team, Vhong Navarro. She will also complete the all-star female cast for a movie featuring Angelica Panganiban, Toni Gonzaga and Bea Alonzo.

Toni Gonzaga Bids Farewell to 'Wansapanataym' as a Superhero

Ultimate multimedia star Toni Gonzaga reveals that her month-long “Wansapanataym” special became a big learning experience for her as she portrayed different roles every week.

Toni became a witch, an extraordinary weather girl and a man-turned-into-a-woman in the month-long special of “Wansapanataym.”

In the last episode entitled “IncrediBelle” this Saturday (March 26), Toni will give life to the character of Belle, a foster girl longing for the love of her adoptive family who accidentally became a superhero. As she discovers her super powers, Belle starts to demand attention, not only from her family, but from other people as well. Can Belle fight her own desires when she puts her family’s life at risk?

Together with Toni in the episode are Isabel Rivas, Christopher Roxas, Kristel Moreno and Bettina Carlos. It is written by Joel Mercado and directed by Erick Salud.

“Wansapanataym” is part of ABS-CBN’s “Bida Best Kid” campaign launched recently that aims to empower children by encouraging them to become who they want to be and the best that they can be. It doesn’t only entertain and educate its young viewers with its values-oriented, child-friendly programs, but supports their dreams and aspirations as well.
