Viva Films unveiled the official movie poster of A Secret Affair starring Anne Curtis, Derek Ramsay and Andi Eigenmann. The movie is showing on October 24, 2012.

A Secret Affair is another movie about love, friendship and betrayal directed by Nuel Crisostomo Naval. It also stars Joel Torre, Johnny Revilla, Jackie Lou Blanco and Ms. Jaclyn Jose (watch the official full trailer here).

Andi Eigenmann Covers Sense & Style October 2012 Issue

Kahit Puso'y Masugatan star Andi Eigenmann is on the cover of Sense and Style magazine October 2012 issue. Andi is 'back to shape and back to stardom' on the cover story from the interview of Sara Aunario.

Andi's cover photo was taken by Seven Barretto with styling from Hector Reyes and Margaux Salazar.

Andi Eigenmann was quoted on the cover saying "I was young, I was so in love, and that's not a crime," probably pertaining to her getting pregnant at a young age, requiring her to leave her booming showbiz career at that time.

"I stopped hating myself. Then when I loved myself for who I was, I saw that a lot of people loved me, too," Andi was also quoted from the said interview.

The Mistress Grosses P186.73 Million in Two Weeks - Box Office Mojo

Star Cinema's The Mistress starring John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo grossed P186.73 million in 2 weeks according to Box Office Mojo (BOM). Meanwhile, Star Cinema earlier reported that the movie had already surpassed the P200 million mark.

The Mistress is now the biggest movie of the year surpassing Angel Locsin and John Lloyd Cruz's Unofficially Yours. It remains to be the number 1 movie for the period of September 19-23.

Meanwhile, Regal Films' Pridyider starring Andi Eigenmann had grossed P3.6 million on its first 5 days. Another Pinoy film, Cinemalaya 2012 entry Ang Nawawala starring Dawn Zulueta and Roco Twins earned P1.24 million after 2 weeks.

Viva Films has just released the official full trailer of the upcoming movie A Secret Affair (formerly Nothing Compares to You) starring Anne Curtis, Derek Ramsay and Andi Eigenmann.

Regal Films' 'Pridyider' Uncut Trailer Released!

Regal Films has released an uncut trailer for the upcoming horror movie Pridyider, a full version of one of the three episodes in the original Shake, Rattle and Roll 28 years ago. Janice De Belen will return in this remake as the matriarch Mrs. Benitez.

Pridyider also stars Andi Eigenmann as Tina Benitez, JM De Guzman as James Dean Co, Joel Torre as Mr. Benitez, Ronnie Lazaro as Detective Albay, Bekimon as Agatha, Baron Geisler as Dick, and introducing Venus Raj as Celine in her very first film. Directed by Rico Maria Ilarde, Pridyider will hit theaters soon.

Here is the plot of Pridyider (2012):

Tina Benitez is a returning citizen. She’s been living abroad since childhood and she has not set foot in the country until now. She goes home to an empty house she inherited from her parents. Being sent abroad at such an early age, she does not have any memories of the house. But she cherishes it because it’s the only thing her deceased parents left her. However, strange things start to happen inside the house particularly in the kitchen where an old, antique refrigerator can be found. At first, Tina dismisses the incidents, thinking it’s just her imagination. But soon enough, she witnesses the ref attacking and even consuming one of her guests. Scared of what other harm the ref can do, she tries to get rid of it but to no avail. The refrigerator is unbelievably heavy. It cannot be lifted nor removed from its place. With some information from her neighbor and newfound friend Celine, Tina learns about the background of the refrigerator and its connection to her deceased parents. As Tina tries to solve the mystery of the refrigerator, she also learns more about her parents’ disappearance and death. Her childhood friend James also joins her in her quest for the truth. Together, they uncover Tina’s unknown past and also discover how to create a “bomb” that can counter the evil powers of the refrigerator. But will they succeed in defeating it? Someone from Tina’s past also unexpectedly shows up to help them. But will Tina be willing to risk the life of this person, just to extinguish the devil inside the ref?

Myrtle, Kit and Yves Revive PBB Teens Fever in SM Fairview Mall Show

Fast rising teen stars Myrtle Sarrosa, Yves Flores, and Kit Thompson stole the show last Sunday (Aug 5) as fans went wild with the ”kilig” moments they shared on stage during a mall show held at SM Fairview for “Kahit Puso’y Masugatan.” 

More than 6,000 people flocked to the venue to watch the PBB teen housemates who now star in the said primetime soap. The PBB teens fever is definitely alive as fans screamed their lungs out when Myrtle sang her own rendition of “Tinamaan” while Yves and Kit pretends to fight for the her attention. In the end, the playful boys got everyone laughing when they chose each other in the end. 

Also in the mall show are KPM lead stars za Calzado, Andi Eigenmann, and Jake Cuenca who gave respective song numbers especially for the fans.

Myrtle Sarrosa and Yves Flores (MyrVes) Join Kahit Puso'y Masugatan Cast, to Play a Triangle with Kit

PBB Teens Myrtle Sarrosa and Yves Flores will be joining the cast of ABS-CBN teleserye Kahit Puso'y Masugatan. This will be Myrtle and Yves' first acting project on TV after their stint in the hit reality show.

In an interview with Kris TV on Friday, July 27, PBB Teens big winner herself, Myrtle Sarrosa confirmed that she and MyrVes other half Yves Flores are set to join Kahit Puso'y Masugatan which is topbilled by Gabby Concepcion, Iza Calzado, Andi Eigenmann and Jake Cuenca.

Myrtle and Yves will be playing a love triangle with PBB batchmate Kit Thompson who is an original KPM cast member. The three were also in a triangle situation inside the house with Kit being close to Myrtle on the early runs of the show before he got evicted. Kit and Myrtle had their love team named as 'Kittle.'

It seems that the new batch of teen PBB alums had their fair share of projects. PBB Teens runner-up Karen Reyes was now a member of Angelito: Ang Bagong Yugto cast, playing the friend of Sue Anna Ramirez, Charee Pineda's sister in the said Kapamilya Gold series.

With the inclusion of Myrtle and Yves and developing a love triangle with Kit, this will surely excite fans and encourage more viewers to watch Kahit Puso'y Masugatan, let alone capitalizing on the story and superb acting of its lead stars Iza, Gabby, Jake and Andi as well as the supporting characters of Ms. Jaclyn Jose, Malou de Guzman and Barbara Perez.

Kantar Media (July 7-9) TV Ratings: Kahit Puso'y Masugatan Pilots Moderately

ABS-CBN programs are still most-watched during weekends as MMK starring Gerald Anderson and Korina Sanchez' Rated K topped nationwide viewing based on the ratings data provided by Kantar Media for the period of July 7-9, 2012. Donaire versus Mathebula also scored a knock-out last July 8 garnering 29.1% TV rating.

Meanwhile, Jodi Sta. Maria and Richard Yap's Be Careful With My Heart beats Eat Bulaga on its pilot episode, debuting at no 3. Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo and Mundo Man ay Magunaw are the two most-watched program on daytime last Monday.

Another debuting program is Kahit Puso'y Masugatan of Iza Calzado, Andi Eigenmann, Jake Cuenca and Gabby Concepcion. The show debuted moderately as it got only 10.9%, tied with rival show One True Love.

KC Concepcion Out of 'Nothing Compares To You' Movie with Anne and Derek

Actress-host KC Concepcion confirmed via her official Twitter account that she will not be doing the movie Nothing Compares To You under Viva Films. The said movie is supposed to put KC Concepcion in a triangle with Anne Curtis and Derek Ramsay.

KC said that she opt not to do the movie to focus on her new teleserye Against All Odds with Judy Ann Santos and Sam Milby and hosting The X Factor Philippines and ASAP 2012.

In a series of tweets, KC clarified why she chose not to do the Viva movie for now. She also said she had the blessing of  Viva boss, Vic Del Rosario to concentrate on the teleserye  first.

Kahit Puso'y Masugatan Premieres July 9 after Lorenzo's Time

ABS-CBN premieres another top-caliber drama about two women whose bond of sisterhood will be challenged when they fall for only one man this Monday (July 9) in “Kahit Puso’y Masugatan.”
