Raymart Santiago Claims Claudine Barretto is a Drug User; The Real Story Unraveled on SIR Finale (September 28)

This was the short but meaningful statement of Raymart Santiago after submitting his counter-affidavit recently before the Marikina Regional Trial Court, in relation to cases filed against him by his wife Claudine Barretto.

Aside from the videos and photos against Claudine, Raymart also included in his sworn statement medical records showing his wife allegedly testing positive for drug use; and testimonials from Claudine’s siblings Gretchen, Marjorie and Jay-Jay who allegedly believe that Claudine is mentally ill and in need of professional help.

Days after Raymart filed his counter-affidavit, Claudine used social media to respond to her husband’s accusations. “You don’t destroy people you love,” said Claudine in her official Twitter account.

Claudine Barretto Confirms Comeback Movie with Star Cinema

Actress Clauding Barretto is now gearing up for her comeback movie with Star Cinema after a two-year hiatus. Claudine confirmed in a press interview that she will return with two movie projects line up for her.

"Nag-pe-prepare na ako. Puspusan na ang pagpe-prepare. Actually mga one week palang ako nakakapag-prepare. I'm very excited. I'm very, very excited," Claudine told ABS-CBN News and other members of the press at the birthday party of her daughter, Sabina, held Saturday afternoon at Blue Water Day Spa in Quezon City.

"Hindi ko alam kung ano ang mauuna [sa dalawang pelikula], magmi-meeting palang kami. Mag-mi-mieet palang kami hopefully this week, and doon ko malalaman," she added.

As previously reported, Claudine is set to do a romance-drama movie under the film production outfit of Viva Entertainment which now manages her career. The other project, which is also a dramatic film, will be a co-production with ABS-CBN's film production outfit Star Cinema.

Claudine was a with ABS-CBN for around 17 years and regarded as the queen of Star Magic before she transferred to GMA-7 in 2009. During her days with the Kapuso network, she only had one primetime series titled Iglot. 

Claudine's last movie was Viva and GMA Films' In Your Eyes where she starred with Anne Curtis and Richard Gutierrez. 

Despite being involved in negative issues in the past, Claudine's acting prowess is not to be ignored. Her fans are now excited for her comeback movies while still hoping that she will have her comeback teleserye with ABS-CBN soon.

Claudine Barretto to Transfer to TV-5? Set for a Kapatid TV Comeback

Claudine Barretto is said to be transferring to the Kapatid network. The controversial actress will be back to work after the NAIA brawl not in GMA-7 but in TV-5.

In an article published August 12 in Pilipino Star Ngayon, Claudine Barretto is said to has started shooting for TV-5's  Untold Stories together with Jay Manalo. According to the article, Claudine's contract with the Kapuso network has expired and there's no conflict with her appearance in the Kapatid network or whether she will jump ship to TV-5 soon.

There are rumors that Claudine Barretto might be transferring to TV-5 after reports claiming that she was not happy anymore with the Kapuso network surfaced. Claudine also expressed interest to return to ABS-CBN where she became a big star but rumor has it that the Kapamilya network is not anymore interested with the former Star Magic queen (read story here).

With that, Claudine Barretto's camp might be thinking of a new chance in the country's third largest TV network, TV-5. There are speculations that a Claudine and Diamond Star Maricel Soriano project will push through if she decided to ink a deal with TV-5 and become a Kapatid. 

The thing now is will Claudine be interested to join the same network as the Tulfo Brothers who they have a rift with? What do you think?

Claudine Barretto Tries Reaching Out to Star Magic Says Head

Is actress Claudine Barretto trying to make amends with ABS-CBN?

According to Star Magic head Mariole Alberto, Caludine Barretto tried to reach out when she called Star Magic chairman emeritus Johnny Manahan on his birthday last February 11, but Manahan refused to speak to her. "Better things to do," Manahan said.

"They know how they were treated, e. And makikita nila kung ano 'yong iniiwan nila. And I've seen so many people naman who tried to come back. Si Claudine na nga lang....," Alberto said in an interview published in the July 2012 issue of YES Magazine, which looked back at 20 years of ABS-CBN's talent management arm.

When asked if Claudine had tried to return to ABS-CBN, Alberto "waved the question away," the magazine said. "The point is, it's better that you let them go and they choose to stay," Alberto said.

In the interview, Alberto admitted that the rift between Star Magic chairman emeritus Johnny Manahan and Barretto "has never been fully healed."

The rift started  in 2010 a year after Caludine Barretto left ABS-CBN to move to GMA-7.

Claudine at the time accused Angelica Panganiban of spreading rumors that she was having an affair. Claudine Barretto threatened to sue Angelica Panganiban but Mr. M told Angelica to keep her silence and did all the speaking for her.

Actor Piolo Pascual, a prized talent of Star Magic, told YES Magazine that he also felt sad when Caludine decided to leave ABS-CBN.

"That was bittersweet because, you know, Claudine was our first and... It's hard. It's really hard for us because  Mr. M and Tita Mariole naman would give it their all. So, siyempre, ako -- I didn't want any one to leave. But if they felt na they could grow elsewhere, you've got to let them go," said Piolo, who was Claudine's leading man in the hit 2004 film "Milan" and the television series "Walang Kapalit" in 2007.

New Video of Mon Tulfo vs Claudine, Raymart et al. Claims the latter Started the Brawl

Anew video of Claudine Barretto and her friend Eduardo Atilano surfaced showing that their company was the one to start the NAIA fistfight vs Mon Tulfo. The said video was aired on TV-5's news program AKSYON.

In the video, it was shown that the guy in pink, Eduardo Atilano was the first one to hit Mon Tulfo in the head. Claudine was also in the video, with her back turned into the camera and complaining about Mon. There were other people in white beside Mon Tulfo (probably they were NAIA crew).

The said video was claimed to happen before the famous NAIA brawl. Prior to this new development, there was only one video showing the NAIA brawl but it did not show what happened first or who started the fight. Watch the first video here.

In earlier interviews, Raymart Santiago insisted that it was Mon Tulfo who started the fight and was pleading to the public of whoever had a video before the fist fight happened, he or she should submit it to authority or upload it to YouTube so that everyone will know who really started the fight.

Mon Tulfo and Raymart Santiago Caught in a Fight at NAIA Terminal 3

Journalist Mon Tulfo and actor Raymart Santiago was caught in a fist fight at the NAIA Terminal 3 Sunday afternoon, May 6. Raymart's wife, Claudine Barretto was also involved in the brawl and had received bruises after the incident.

According to Mon Tulfo, Raymart Santiago tried to forcefully grab his cellphone after the actor caught him taking a photo of his wife Claudine Barretto when she was allegedly cursing a flight attendant. Mon Tulfo claimed that it was Raymart who first throw a punch after he refused to surrender his camera phone to Raymart.

On the other side of the story, Claudine Barretto, Raymart's wife said that it is not true that she was cursing the airport staff. She said she was merely complaining because their bags were left in Caticlan Airport and she needed the medicines of her son.

Claudine continued that a friend alerted Raymart that somebody was taking a video of her (Mon Tulfo) so Raymart approached the journalist and asked what he was doing. Mon, according to Claudine replied,  "Anong pakialam mo?" then Mon allegedly punched Raymart.

According to Claudine, Mon Tulfo also kicked her twice when she confronted him about why he punched her husband. Claudine is now appealing to airport authorities to release their CCTV because only the footage can say who really started the brawl. Meanwhile, the couple are considering filing charges against Mon Tulfo.
